"Fine let's go find Ather then." She shook her head, wondering why Orenar was still doing this, but said nothing of it.

"What is it?" He looked at her and started swimming toward the shore, getting out of the lake. "If it is about the actions of my father, this is how he has always been."

She swam after him, and got up and out of the lake. "I know you've told me. But even if he is that way, there's nothing wrong in seeing your sons every once in awhile. I'm sorry, I just wish he would do more to be with you. I suppose the deaths of my parents when I was so young, have turned me a bit soft to this. My apologies, I'll be quiet on the subject now."

"You may talk about it as much as you wish Circe. You know I have rarely ever tried to silence you. My father has been this way as far as I can remember." He sat down on the grass.

She walked over to him and sat on his lap. "Which is why you're used to this. But It gets me at times. To each their own I suppose, but I've witnessed too many parents of the Demonic Race do this."

"That is how they are. Slowly that changes every now and then, but, well, it happens Circe. He cared for us though. We were well fed, trained, and had the house. Others simply kick their children out."

"That is one way he was caring." She smiled briefly, and nodded. "Yes, as is always the practice. I cant complain though. Glad I got kicked out, couldnt stand those pieces of nothings as it were."

"And I think he is a very conflicted demon, my father. I know, well, I assume from things found out, that my father's father was very mean to him. So, really, not much of an influence."

"I can understand why he's like that. Maybe fear in him that he'd be like your grandfather. I suppose after the first time I met him, I did not expect him to be this elusive. On the other hand we met during a fight, and after victory I think everyone's moods are lifted regardless of how they usually are."

He nodded. "He must have kept away because, well, to defer from being like his own father, but I admit, and truthfully say, that when he was around and we angered him, it was never fun."

"I suppose it's probably the usual way to deal with things of the like." She frowned and rubbed his back. "I can imagine. I remember the intensity during battle, I can imagine it remained when other things occured." She turned to him somewhat guiltily. "I'm sorry if I'm making you re-live events you would have wanted to forget."

"I'll never forget them, but it is what we are talking about. I'm fine." He nodded and looked at her with a soft gaze. "He is a good fighter. He has trained a long time."

She gave a nod. "Yes, he truly is. He could teach the new generation of our kind how fighting involves much more than just our powers."

He nodded silently and just laid back, closing his eyes. "Take us back to our room sweetheart. I wish to rest some." He smiled.

She chuckled softly. "Lazy Bum." She shut her eyes, and they faded away.
