"I died too. Or have you forgotten that? But you don't see me so broody and just musing forever an a day. Even Van doesn't muse as much as my brother does. I'll give you he's changed but he's somewhat back to his old self. Which is great because I like my two fathers acting goofy at times." She had a habit of always switching up calling Vandos between his name and "dad". Using the latter mostly when they were planning something on someone. They liked to play tricks, and she could only blame Van for these rituals of catching someone off guard and just having their fun. "I just hope that maybe Alder's time with Zora will loosen him up some. I love him to death but sometimes I just wish I could open that stubborn brain of his and stop him from thinking so much, instead of living his life. Power, is nice and all, and Goddess knows we have plenty of it from the families we come from. But life isn't worth anything if you don't have anything. I couldn't imagine life without you or the twins. Imagine when they've grown? They'll have so much to discover, other things to deal with. A long and very convulated history to learn about themselves." Scratching the back of her neck, she had to wonder if they too would end up getting the strange hand fate had dealt them all. "We could, I think we could convince grandpa, he'd see it as some great opportunity to gain more power. I wonder when he's going to admit his feelings for Ceres." She had to say, she liked the Demoness. She was a stark contrast from her grandfather but somehow they seemed to work together for whatever odd reason.

Rionos smiled. "Yes, well, whatever happened to him, seems to just make him the way he is. Ever since he was little, you could see it. I mean, the kid was stubborn. Didn't he reject your other grandparents? Alder's just, I don't know. I doubt that happens. Zora's gone through different things, and she knows how it is to be a mother. They're living two totally different lives, and Alder does things without telling anyone. He MIGHT tell me, but other than that, one day you'll see him and the next morning you have no clue where he is. Zora doesn't seem the type. I mean, Alder's very unemotional. He cares a lot, but he just doesn't show it, or has a difficult time doing so, and if memory serves me right, wasn't your mother like that before Cerberus and her decided to have you guys?"

"Yeah I know. But still, I guess I'm just hoping that one day he'll be able to open up a little. Maybe not with me but with someone. I just want him to be happy, you know? We've all gone through this. But after where he's been.... I just want to see my brother happy. It's all I want for him. All I ever wanted for him." She gave a solemn nod. "Yeah, he did, not surprised. Especially with what happened with grandpa Arioch. Speaking of which I haven't seen him in ages. I should take the twins to go visit him sometime soon." She turned to him and nodded. "Yeah.. Dad told me she was very stoic, emotionless. All she ever wanted was power or looking for something. Always a fighter. Kicked lots of ass and had quite a reputation too. I don't know how he managed to change her. But that's dad for you. He may be one of the toughest demons there are but he's a softie at heart. Just like Uncle Ather and Vandos."

"Well, I mean, I guess one day he'll open up for someone out there." He shrugged and just looked at her, wondering if she knew about the mage. He figured she probably didn't, and debated on whether or not he should tell her. "Adler's just been that way since he was young, and it's his personality I guess. I think he just feels that, well, you, your mom and dad have such a great dynamic and he's sort of like the oddball of the family. I think that's why he's so close to Hades. If anyone knows the most about him, it's Hades." Rionos just cracked his knuckles. "Look, he promised me I wouldn't tell you, but I think deep down, he told me because he knew I'd cave and tell you for him, so, well, here it goes. Alder once got with this mage, and he really thought he loved her, but you see, she sort of just wanted him for her own purposes. She wanted to use him to get to us, the family. What Alder didn't know at the time, was that, she used some strong magic, and as far as Alder knows, she got pregnant, and Alder's tried after that, and well, he can't...have babies. Remember that one fallen he was with a long time ago after he died? Before she was killed, they tried having a kid, and it wouldn't work, and the Fallen was definitely not the problem, because she had already had a kid before." He took a deep breath and waited for he reaction.

"And that's his problem he feels but he doesn't speak up. I've always tried to get him to loosen up. But you're right he has been that way since he was little. But I still won't stop trying. I'm not giving up on him just yet." She shrugged. "Grandpa always thinks that emotions are weak, so I'm surprised he'd take Alder under his wings." She listened to what he was saying. Something that Alder had told him but wouldn't even tell her. Typical brother. And then he finished and the magnitude of the words struck her. Her eyes widened just a little. "He can't have babies? Alder can't....?" Her anger rose. "Who was this Mage? Who was she? I'm going to rip her spine from her body. I'll kill her." Now it was on. No one, absolutely NO one, messed with her family, let alone her twin brother and got away from it. She'd find this wench and she'd make her pay. She already see herself torturing the no-god bitch, she could hear the cries of a mercy she would never have. But even in her rage, she frowned. No wonder Alder was somewhat distant on the idea of kids. She'd spoken to him of course, asked when he would give her nieces and nephews and he would just shrug it off. Now she she felt horrible. "I have to talk to him..."

"Please don't tell anyone what I told you. He feels really ashamed about it, and I can't imagine not being able to have kids." He sighed and just looked at Niessa. "I don't know where she is and I don't think Alder knows either, but he has a kid out there somewhere, who's older now. Him and the mage did their share of traveling, all over, even through time, so his kid could be any age by now, and the mage just left, and he's looked, has been looking for years now." He rubbed Niessa's shoulder and nodded. "You going to speak to him now? Or are you just going to wait on it? Or not say anything. It'd be awesome if you didn't say anything. I mean, I know he won't be mad, I hope, but I'm not sure." Rionos was bad at keeping secrets like that between the twins, but he figured that it was why he was told, because if they were too nervous about telling one another personally, they would just tell him and it would make it to the other one eventually. It worked better for Alder, because Niessa was far more open.

"I..." He looked at him. Could she really just act like this hadn't been told to her? I mean, this was serious and she couldn't even imagine how he must have felt. "I can't promise that, Ri. What I will promise is I won't say anything just yet. I've got..... some work to do." She was determined she would find this mage, or at least her brothers child and bring them back. "I don't see why he should be ashamed it wasn't his fault he was innocent. And.... when I get my hands on her, she'll know never to mess with the Zotithlas." She growled. And then turned fully to look at Rionos. She touched the scare that ran across his face and kissed him very softly. "I love you, you know that? I'll be back later on tonight to see you and kids. I've got some work to do. There is no way in hell I'm going to let things stand like they are now." She gave him another kiss and just faded away suddenly. To where and when? Well only a woman named Niessa Lucine Zanlaraniel knew.

"I love you too Niessa, and I know you'll do the right thing. You're brother and sister after all. You two always figure it out." He smiled and just kissed her softly on the lips. Then she disappeared and he just nodded. "Make sure you talk to your brother and be careful!! I don't want you coming home and the kids are wondering why mommy is bleeding to death again!!" He shook his head. It was hard, keeping a family together. They had their own lives, ambitions, but all had the same connection to keep in the end. "She's crazy, but I love the woman. My crazy Niessa." He smiled some more, looking like a fool as he just kicked his heels together in the air and flew off to see his mother.
