He spotted Sareanna walking along the sand and followed her quickly, pulling Malachi with him quickly."Go on, do it to her too." He caught up with Sareanna and grabbed her. "Don't worry. Just trust me."

He once again proceeded to put the tip of his staff to the back of Sareanna's head and just waited there simply for the spell to take affect. "I really should get paid for this."

"What the-..." Right after she heard Ather's voice she felt something hit the back of herwor whoever tapped her just opened up many memories that had been hidden from her for a very long time. She pulled away from Ather's grasp, staring at him and at what she knew was a Sorcerer, but she really couldnt find anything to say at the present moment.

"Did...it work?" he looked at Sareanna and then at Malachi. "Well? One of you say something." He frowned and rubbed the back of his head with a frown on his face.

"Of course it worked! I'm not Malachi Vondrak for nothing! All I know is that you have one very crazy mother Ather." He nodded and then simply vanished, a patch of ice where he had once stood, that quickly turned into flames and then disappeared.

She watched the mage disappear and looked at Ather, trying to fight the rage deep inside of her. "Your mother...That...that.." She gritted her teeth, running her hands through her hair, trying to get used to what was now opened to her, again. "Why..Why, Ather?"

"It's all my fault Sareanna." He walked towards her and wrapped his arms around her. "I'm sorry Sareanna...I'm sorry..." It really was his fault. He was the one that had messed his mother up. And she had paid him back by taking his son.

She shook her head, trying to makse sense of it all, as she laid her head against his shoulder. "You are not at fault. Your mother is." She pulled away. "We have to find him. I fear what she may have done to him." She frowned.

"I've been trying to sense another like us, but either he is too far, or they changed him." He frowned and looked at her. "My mother. My choice. My fault Sareanna. God I love you." He gave her a weak smile.

She came closer to him, running her hand under his chin, as she kissed him briefly. "Dont, please." She frowned. "It was not your choice to have this done to us. It was not your choice for Dalon to be ripped from us like that." She smiled. "I love you as well, Ather. Dont worry we'll find him. I know who may help us."

"And who could possibly help us that you know? I'll speak to the demons that I know. If I know my mother, she did nothing good with him." He frowned and looked away for several moments.

"Ask them if you think they know anything." She turned to look at a small sand dune, "She'll pay what she did." She was angry and her voice would let him know. "She messed with the wrong Demon slayer." She turned to watch him. "My father, Ather."

"Why would your father possibly know?" He looked at her curiously and then sat down on the sand, watching it sift through his fingers. "Gone...just like that. She took me by surprise, especially with that sorcerer...I should have been able to stop him."

She followed him, sitting behind him as she wrapped one arm around his shoulder, and the other around his waist. "I believe it was my fault. If I hadnt had been there you would have been more alert and.." She laid her head on his back. "We couldnt have possibly known your mother would have preplanned all this." She frowned, sighing. "Ather, my father's an Angelic..A Seraphim....He knows." She shut her eyes. "He's meant to watch over Earth, while preparing to lead his army into war if need were to arise."

"I see. Well, speak to him if you think it will help. You should leave now, as quick as you can. It could be awhile, and he might need us now, not later." He sighed.
