She walked among the gardens, admiring the plant and animal life. It seemed she spent many days here, just walking among the plants imersed in her thoughts. She still couldn't quite believe everything that had happend. First falling in love and getting married, now expecting her first child. It had all happend so fast, but she wasn't complaining. She loved her husband and even her life in the Palace, even though the other elves in the village eyed her with contempt sometimes. It bothered her, but she would never let Earnur know. He thoughts she didn't care about what the other elves said, when truth is she did. She had never been shunned before. Even when she was an Angel, she was respected jsut as much as her sister. Even though her task was merely watching over the animal life. She had done it well and the other Angels had saw that she loved her job. She smiled when she saw a deer come out of no where and head for her. She reached out and rubbed its head, "You accept me don't you?"

He walked in from the city. He had been attending to a few of the young members of the guard. They were becoming rather sloppy in their work, and it would only worsen things from them if they had to go into battle. He agreed to oversee the training sessions, and infact had taken up arms once again, but only as a trainer for the new trainees who were coming into the guard and for any who just wished to train more. He smiled, noticing Farinele, she was as beautiful as ever in his eyes. He hurried over to her, and wrapped his arms gently around her waist. "You look like an Angel.' He smirked.

She had been rubbing the deer's coat when she felt his arms come around her. She leaned back against him and smiled, "Not an Angel anymore." She had known where he was, but she still wasn't used to him leaving her. She knew it seemed so childish but she wanted him for herself. But he had duties as an Elf and as a Prince and she understood that. She hoped that he was not getting any odd looks or being talked about because of her. She knew that his people loved him, but that wouldn't stop them from being bitter about him marrying outside the Elven race. Not to mention the child they would be having soon. She layed her hand on her stomach and sighed rubbing his hand melancholicly with her other one as she watched the deer, "Enjoying your time with the Guard Trainees?"

"You may not be an Angel by right, but you are to me, Farinele." He smiled briefly and looked at the deer remembering their first time together. He nodded. 'Aye, I did. I started to see some improvement in their tactics and can only hope it'll improve." He looked at her silently for a bit. "What's wrong? You can deny nothing is wrong but I know better than that."

She smiled, "Are you trying to butter me up to tell me something?" She leaned her head back against his shoulder and then looked at him out of the corner of her eyes, "They can only improve with you as their trainer." She sighed and shrugged a bit and pulled away, "Just thinking is all. Nothing to worry about." She smiled trying to act like it was fine but she still worried about his peoples veiw of him.

He shook his head. "No...well unless I need to butter you up in order to tell you, I love you." He chuckled and started to stroke her air. He looked down at her, and decided not to press the issue. "Very well, if there's nothing to worry about, then I wont worry." He smiled briefly and put his hand on her stomach. "Only a few more months until this little one is born. I wonder if it will be boy or girl. But no matter...it will be exciting to find out, love."

She laughed, "No you don't have to butter me up to tell me that. Because that butters me up enough." She smiled again and watched the deer run off, "Oh did I mention that I love you too." She sighed relieved but felt bad for lying to him. It wasn't something she liked to do. She looked down at her stomach and rubbed it, "Yeah a few months. Personally I want a boy, just because I can't imagine having to raise a girl. We can be handfuls." She smirked and then pulled away, her concious getting the better of her, "You would tell me if there were any fuss about you marrying me right?"

"Then I'll say it again and again. I love you." He smiled, and watched her. "I would love to have a girl actually. I wouldnt have to worry about she wanting to go into the guard." He looked at the deer then back at her, raising his eyebrow. "Yes, I would tell you. I havent heard any 'fuss'. Why are you asking Farinele?"

She smiled and then looked away. "I'm just worried that your people wont accept you because of me. i don't get the nicest treatment. Only because I'm married to you, do i even get the slightest bit of respect." She sighed, "Only time will tell what our child shall be."

He sighed and frowned. "I'll have to speak to them then. They'll have to accept you, they have no choice. You're my wife, and their Queen is about to marry a Fallen as well, which will make him their King. I'll make a formal announcement. I do not wish you to feel alienated." He held her tightly. "Yes we will. As long s I am able to spend time with them, and you, I will be happy."

She sighed, "I do not wish to cause troubles among you and your people. You can not force them to accept me. They would resent me more if you make an announcement. I know Arioch is marrying Ireth but that will not set well with your people either." She looked at him frowning, "I do feel alienated, but I will jsut have to get over it. Especially for our child. Maybe he will be more accepted then I am."

He frowned. "I only wish for them to accept you as I have. As has my family, most of them." He sighed a bit, and pulled her away, moving to the floor, and bringing her down with him. "They will need time. They fear the new, and they might be jealous of your beauty." He chuckled and wrapped his arms around he waist again.

She watched him and then let him pull her away from where she had been. She slowly sat down and lay back against him, "I know you do. And I wish for that too, I will not deny that the reasons why I do not like going into the village with you are because of the looks I get from your people." She looked at him and smiled, "No i think they are jealous because I have the most handsome man in all the world as my husband."

He chuckled. "I doubt I'm the most handsome man in the world. Other women would disagree, and I'm not a man." He smirked, and rubbed her stomach lovingly. "They will accept you one day, it will take time, but they will. They cannot resist your obvious charms, Meles. Who can? I know I couldnt." He kissed the back of her neck. "Now that I have you, I should let you know that tonight I must go, and will not return for two days, at most. I wil be taken out the new trainees to the forest, so they can get better acquainted with fights and battles in different terrain."

She laughed, "Oh but you are the most gorgeous creature I have seen. And I have seen many good looking creatures. But you not only captured my fancy, you captured my heart." She smiled and looked down at his hand, "I'm sure if there had been some other Creature who had met you that day by the Bay you would have had no problems resisting me. But I was not trying to make you fall for me." She giggled when she felt his lips upon her neck then frowned and turned to look at him, "I know I have nothing to worry about, it is not a real battle. But it is a full moon soon and the town is filled with Lycan's."
