She shook her head, "Thanx i guess. To bad you'll die way before I will. Might have been nice getting to know you a bit better." She smirked a bit then nodded, "Yeah you do, but I choose to ignroe it all. I have my world and everyone else has there own. You knwo its usually a woman who hides their age not a man. Maybe your secretly gay or something."

He laughed. "Yeah, shame aint it?" He shook his head, and snorted with laughter. "Yean, no, I aint. I cant have 3 kids if I were." He shook his head. Then he realized what he had said, and cursed himself, but it didnt matter, he could lie about that too.

She laughed as well, "I'm sure you have woman fawning all over you, Hannibal. But I am not one of them. So there was never any shame in it." She looked at him and stopped laughing, "Three kids? And here I thought Ripper was just and adoptive son. You can't lie your way out of this one Hannibal." She cocked her eyebrow and looked at him, "How about telling me the truth now?"

"Nah, not as many as you think." He sat up straight and crossed his arms, looking at her. "Ripper is my adoptive son." He shrugged. "I have 3 more, 4 if you count my deceased wife's daughter. I wasnt the father but I took her in, and they're all adults. There, happy?" It wasnt like he was really lying, he was actually telling the truth.

She sat forward and studied him and actually read his eyes. Somethign she ahd learned from Mathias. The eyes would never lie, "My you are the saint. Even taking in your wife's daughter. All humans? For some reason I don't see you with human kids." She smiled, "Yes I am content that that is the truth. I'm sure you were the best father you could be for them. What are their ages? If they are all adults you must have had them in sucession."

He looked at her, his eyes as as serious as they could, eventhough inside it was an internal struggle to find for a good answer. "Saint? Me? Hardly. Just taking care of my own." He raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean, by that human kids comment?" He had to think quickly and just thought of their ages. "Hell if I remember, too many ages to recall. All I know is if they're having sex, they're adults." He shrugged. "I have lousy memory when it comes to ages."

She continued studying his eyes not sure whether to believe him or not. There was a bit of turmoil in them now and she couldn't quite decipher what it was. "Well Ripper ahs said once or twice that your wife was a Vampeal. And i was under the impression long ago that you were a bit mroe then you let on." She raised her eyebrow and then moved a bit closer to see if she could decipher the turmoil, "Well I'm unsure if your lying or not. But for now I think I will take your word for it."

"You can believe me or not. But I know I'm telling the truth, so I'm at ease." He watched her come closer. "My wife was a Vampeal." he looked at her quizically. "What do you mean?" He got up again to turn the boar, then sat back down, closing his eyes, wondering whether or not to be upfront with her.

She moved back when he stood. Mathias had told her once it was a sign of guilt and the instant he sat down and closed his eyes she became suspicious. "You just seem to be full of secrets. Which isn't a problem really. It isn't like you know every thing about me. But my instinct is telling me your lying, and I don't like being lied to." She shurgged, "I jsut dont see why it would be so hard to be upfront with me. I have been honest to you mostly."

He opened his eyes slowly, and eyed her. He had always suspected that to be the case. He moved his jaws a few times, still eyeing her. "Who says I've been lying? You say things, and I choose not to disagree. Way I see it, unless I've said it directly, it's lying. But if you assume things, I'm not at fault." He eyed her. "It's a bit complex and complicated."

She sighed, "Come on for once be honest. I have been honest with you tonight. Admiting one thing that no one has ever heard before. I could go on, but Somethings are new to me." She did not blink once but watched him, studying him still, "Do you think I can not handle the complex?"

"I dont know what you can handle, in regards to this." He sighed. "You make it sound like I've been a ball of lies. I havent lied to you that much." He looked at her somewhat frustratingly. "Yes, you've been honest with me, for one night, Lee. What about the five years I've known you? Okay, so maybe we're both in the same boat, but still." He got up again, and pulled the boar from the fireplace, and started to cut it up into pieces, putting most in a large dish, and then put the rest in two plates. He covered the large dish up, for Ripper when ever he woke up, and moved over to her, sliding one plate infront of her. "I know a lot. A lot about other things, and a lot about your family, because I know them. I could probably tell you a good bit about what they're going to do. I know your family is full of warlords, and I know that what you guys do is pillage, and ravish whole towns to add it to your growing rule. And I also know how wealthy you are, or will be and all that shit, among other things."

"No not a ball of lies, but there have been times when you have lied." She took the plate and picked at what was on it. "What is there to know about me. You know the basics and even a bit more. It is not liek I have lied to you when you ask me questions. That is once thing I don't do. Unless I have a reason not to trust you. And I have to say I trusted you a bit that first day we met. What else do you want to know? My life is not exactly the most interesting story." she looked up and stared at him a few moments, wondering how he knew so much about her family, "Yes that is my family. But I do not participate in their games. But I still wonder how you know so much of them. If your merely a human I don't see you surviving after a run in with them." She eyed him a moment and somethign stired within her and she had to look away.

"Says who? I might find your life very interesting, but you dont go into details. Yeah, you answer the questions, but with short answers. You never go too deep. You know it'd be nice to know more about someone who I've known for sometime." He sighed slightly and ate a piece of meat. "Like I said, you assumed. You assumed I was human so I went along with it. I'm not human." He ate another piece of meat. "And who knows, because I sure as hell dont. The most I've met is Mathias. And dont bother asking him now, if you meet up with him, because he wouldnt know me now."

She laughed coldly, "What could be so interesting about my life? All I do is pilfer and steal. Besides we probably wont be around each other much longer." She pushed her plate away not finding herself hungry any longer. "What else could you be? Not a demon, elf, or any other creature around here." She looked at him a moment confused, "If you have met him how would he not know you now?"
