"Move!" He growled in frustration and pushed several people out of his way and sent a barrage of fireballs towards the two creatures which were intent on attacking several innocent children along with the habitants of the Town Hall. He'd watched up until the things had went for the children, for some reason it had hit a nerve with him and he felt his arm burning, his flesh peeling away as the creatures send a flurry of what he considered was acid. It burned through his clothes and his skin and a small drop entered his left eye and he roared in pain. Several people ran past him screaming, now knowing who to trust, him or the creatures, but he grabbed one and swung him at one of the creatures, letting them busy one another as he went to the other creature. Hideous in complexion, it looked like a mix of a lion and some type of lizard, though it's skin was grey and large blister-like bulbs on it's body oozed pus. Grabbing it, he found the pus to be sticky. Now it wouldn't come off, and he thought quickly as he charged up in a sense, and sent a beam of energy right through it's head where he had grabbed and heard it cry out as it went lifeless in his grip. The other one, having heard the call of it's friend, came running to the rescue, as Orenar had pretty much assumed it would. Turning around, he used the dead creature as a weapon and swung it into the other, equally ugly creature. At that exact moment, the dead creature tore from his hands, taking the skin on his fingers and palms with it and he frowned, biting down on his lip and just ran at the remaining creature and jumped high into the air, creating an ice blue fireball the size of a large dog and sent it straight into the creature, watching as it exploded, leaving behind only the stick pus against walls and windows of shops and people and a ten foot crater that spanned most of the square like area in front of the Town Hall. Landing on his feet, he just watched as his hands bled freely and could feel everyone staring at him, some even clapping and shouting for him. Glaring at them, he just found it idiotic, the actions of these people. None of them had helped, and he had helped them. Orenar Taninide, had...no...he didn't help these people, he had just took on a challenge, he didn't save or help anyone. Or had he? He shook his head free of the thought and just trodded past several shops, trying to take his mind off of the whole situation.

She stopped, to watch as throngs of people ran in the direction she was coming from. Some were screaming, other speaking incoherently, and then there was two women with a group of children, shouting to everyone to get out of the way, to protect the children. She turned to watch them all run off, and moved to the side, feeling as a new group ran past her. She hurried herself wanting to see what had brought about all this commotion. She started to sprint and found herself beside a building that was in front of the town hall, and her eyes widened. There were bodies there and something sticky on the walls, that made her scrunch her nose from the stench. She walked next to a crowd of humans, hearing them speak softly amongst themselves, speaking of a demon that had come to save them from the monsters. She stepped forward, wanting to see the bodies for herself, and heard the sounds of a few people, and just ignored them. She made a face and stepped back, who had done this to these creatures. She turned, and walked away from them, almost disgusted by the way they were behaving, they may have been saved but to laugh, and dance, and even make bets during whenever this battle had occured, as disgusting. She watched another rush of people run to the scene and she merely shook her head and kept going. She noticed a puddle of blood on the ground, and figured either the person was the one who defeated those things, or someone who needed help, so she followed it. Using her speed she made it within a few feet of whoever, and they had a familiar aura....it was Orenar she could sense it. She ran for him, worry written all over her face. She didnt like to see people hurt, especially not people that she cared about a lot. "Orenar!" She called out to him, trying...wating to make it to him.

He felt her following her, sensed her aura, and annoyance consumed him. The last time she left and he had not even finished with his conversation with her. Shaking his head, he continued onward, putting his bloody hands into his pockets, not caring that they burned, but he had been dealt worse before, so he could endure this small pain.

She sighed, but kept walking, she wasnt going to just leave, not with him hurt, and not with how things had turned out last time. "I'm sorry for leaving like I did last time...." She made it a few inches from him. "Let me look at your wound...please....Orenar." A slight desperation in her voice, and a tone of worry as well. Her face had it all written there.

Turning, he just kept his customary glare plastered on his face, his lip in a snarl."Do not act as if you are worried. You were kind enough to go without thinking anything of myself and want to continue the conversation we last had. As far as I am concerned you are like the rest of them albeit very attractive." He growled at her, and seemed more like an animal, a beast, what he was known for.

"I am worried!" She said quickly. "I apologized for last time. My temper got the better of me, I should have at least excused myself properly before going like I did. I regret it and I've apologized, and whether you believe me or not I AM worried about you...and your wound." She walked faster to stand in front of him. "It was stupid, I admit it, and I'm sorry." Her eyes softened a little as she apologized to him.

His brow furrowed, he just clenched his hands together, blood spurting from either side of them and he just grabbed her by the arms."Do you not know who I am?!" He squeezed her arms tightly."Well?!"

"I know exactly who you are! But I'm not afraid of you, Orenar Taninide. I was taught never to be afraid, not even of death itself. Hold your head up high, and go look everything straight in the eye. Whether you live or die, do it with pride." His grip was hurting her, but she refused to show it to him. "Now let me look at your wound."

"There is no fear in your eyes. Either you do not know truly of what I am, or you are a fool. Taught and raised by fools furthermore." He slammed her up against a nearby tree and just was completely overtaken by his anger now. Managing to let her go, he just continued his march along the path, growling loudly at several children who ran from him, scared.

"Yes, my parents were fools because they taught me not to be afraid. Great point of view to have." She stared at him, even as her back was slammed against the tree. "Who is the one who is afraid, Orenar? Myself or you? Are you afraid to get too close? Are you afraid to show your emotions. Emotions do not make you weak, but thinking that they do, does." She remained against the tree, looking at the discolorment on her arms.

"You do not know anything about me Larentia! Do not lecture me, I am a grown man, I am well beyond my years to let someone lecture me." He shook his head and just slammed his fist against a tree, watching as it fell to the ground.

"Lecture...where's the lecture? It was a question. Why dont you answer it." She moved from the tree and followed him, she wouldnt let a repeat of last time happen. "Answer it for yourself. You can easily destroy trees, beat people to a pulp, yet you cant answer a harmless question." Her eyes were narrowing.

"It is a useless question! Emotions do not make a man, they did not make me. There is no time for emotion when you are someone like myself Larentia. It is the other things, the punching a tree to the ground, being able to combat with any foe. These things make a fighter, they make who you will become!" This is what he had been taught, nothing else.

"Then we have opposing views, but fine. Go one with your fighting. Fight to make yourself even more of what you've become! But completely ignore the fact that people care about you." She shook her head. "Maybe I must have seen things that werent there, but I see you for something more than just a man who is good at fighting."

"What do you see me for? What could you possibly see in me?! I am nothing but a monster!" He turned and just stood there, running a hand through his hair, not even worried that his hair now had bloody streaks in it.
