It was in this town that he had sensed it. Someone like him was around here. As far as he knew, it had been forever since he had ever sensed something like this. It was a female, and he knew where she was, the aura was unmistakable, he could see waves of it eminating from the Tower he saw in the distance. Would she think he was crazy? Or that he was an enemy? That wouldn't be too good, he thought to himself as he pocketed a loaf of bread and continued on walking down the path. He was getting tired, and he would wait until the woman was awake and then he'd speak to her, how she had gotten that ability. Maybe she knew where he came from, because as far as he knew, he was from a town days from this one, but he had constant dreams of another realm, another place where he felt more at ease at times, considering his other form he took. Moving along the path, he slipped behind some shrubs and started eating, sitting down and slowly, he dozed off, tired from his journey.

Moving out of the way of the cart, that rode by she stepped onto the grass. So many humans were around here. She'd never been in a place so full of humans. Even when she was with her father, they were in an area that was strictly for Fallens. It was like a small town that only Fallens knew about. At first they had shunned her because she was only a half-breed, but eventually they warmed up to her, and they had been scared of her father. There were a few Vampires walking about, and maybe even a Lycan or two, but somewhere in the square she could sense it. It was a strange aura, it was demonic, yet with something else, although she was unsure of what else. She stepped further away from the path and moved past a bush or two, then felt something warm and squishy under her foot.

He felt the aura move very close to him and snapped out of his slumber and rubbed his eyes, looking to his right and seeing here there, and a grin broke out on his face when he saw what she had stepped in and then he hid it very quickly when she looked over at him.

She groaned and moved her foot quickly. She had stepped on dog dung and she sighed. She looked at her feet and was glad to be wearing boots. She mumbled a bit and then noticed someone there. It was a guy with deep blue eyes and blackish hair. She looked a the imprint on the book, and picked up a few leaves covering it up. "Hope you didnt step on that either."

"Oh...no." He laughed loudly and shook his head."My apologies. I walked from the opposite side, but I would have picked up on the scent rather quickly before I stepped on it. Least, I hope I would have."

She made a face, and picked up a leaf, wiping away the dung from her boot. "Really? It's kinda subtle too smell, dont you think?" She threw the leaf away, and tried using her sensing abilities, wondering if she'd be able to identify his other half, but it was to no use.

"Oh, my nose is very strong?" He shrugged and then sat up fully, eating the rest of his bread from where he had finished it."What brings you into this little hiding spot then? I came here because I figured no one would really come, or they would walk by and not stop. Not that I wanted to be alone."

"I suppose it is if you can sniff that out." She leaned beside a tree. "I stepped away from the path when a cart went by and then just decided to walk around the area and get myself acquainted. I've never been to the Human area, well all the other areas that isnt home." She nodded. "It does look like a nice spot to be by yourself, though."

"It was, I caught up on some needed sleep." He nodded and looked up at her, pulling out a bag of corn from his pocket."Would you care for any?" He opened it and poured some into his hand.

She shrugged her shoulders and nodded. "Sure." She came over to him and held her hands out. "Are you from around here?" She waited for him to pour, then took a quick peek at his huge arms.

"No, but I have heard of it, and I think I know some creatures who dwell here at the moment. I take it you are not from here either." He followed her eyes and smiled happily."Rinoltus Olanal."

She ate some of the corn, thinking he had a really nice smile. "Must be nice to have friends outside from where you live, or have lived." She sat infront of him, chewing. "Nice to meet you Rinoltus. I'm Álairënssë Vórimá. And no I'm not from here, I'm from a place way different than this one."

"Alair, a nice name. Hope you do not mind me shortening it. Sounds nice no matter how you put it." He nodded and sensed the fallen in her."I see I have met another half-breed." He smiled and then unhesitantly patted his lap."Sit Alair."

She smiled briefly. "No, I dont mind. It's what my mother calls me. I think she shouldnt have made it that long. Thank you, I like my name it's different. Rinoltus is different too." She nodded. "Yes, Half-breed, and like all the other half-breeds, shunned by some of my own people. You're one too, right?" She eyed his lap. "You're brave, a lot of people would at least wait till they were together to ask someone to sit on their lap."

"Oh it's an innocent gesture Alaire." He shook his head."If you do not wish to, then you simply have to tell me no. I will not be saddened. Shunned, yes, that can happen." He nodded and laughed.
