She smiled with amusement as she saw Nailana get into a run. This wasnt the first fight she'd been in, so she knew to expect a lot. When she saw Nailana legs extend, she merely turned to her side. She flung her arm towards the foot, that was a moment ago aimed for her chest and protected herself from the Vampeal's kick. And taking into account her stance, she took her other hand and grabbed hold of Nailana's thigh, using that as a weight, she flung her to the ground.

She felt herself being flung to the ground. She hit the ground hard, her breath was knocked out of her for a moment. She lay on the ground a few moments until her breathing came back normally. She stood slowly and sighed defeatedly, "I should have realized you would expect my move. I guess all I can do is thank you for at least giving me a chance." Her thoughts zoomed around in her head, most of them dealing with her loss of allies and that she possibly had lost he chance to have a demon slayers aide.

She looked at her, her expression serious. "You've given up so easily, Vampeal? Then so be it, I would never help someone who would give up so easily." She remained in her position.

She looked at her confused, "You said one chance. I did my best, I see you as a being who does not care whether I give up or not. Everything you have said has lead me to beleive that I had no chance to touch you. And I assumed you ment what you said. I do not give up on what I believe in. I only give up on any chance of my touching you Sareanna."

She laughed, "For a being a who is older than I in age, it seems you become confused at the way words are used. Have you never sparred? The one chance was the spar, an attempt to one hit is not a spar, it is merely an attempt. But your words do not disconcern me, you may think as you wish, but you will find that assumptions on your enemies will only bring your downfall. I find it hard to believe that someone who has seen more than I, that has had life longer than I have, would assume things of their enemies. It is that which will bring your downfall, Nailana. Never, and I do mean this, NEVER underestimate your enemies, or assume what they think or will do, for it is at those times when you will get surprises."

She nodded, "I admit I am naive in the area of Sparing. I have never had to, I fight the lowly vampires and a few slayers. But never have I met someone of your skill. I think i would benifit from your knowledge."

"Naive doesnt begin to explain it. If you wish to gain allies you must show them you are strong. None will align themselves with those they think they will have to babysit. I suggest you work on your skill beforehand. When you become stronger seek me out, as for now, I see your defeat, Nailana. You cannot count on allies so much, you must count on your abilities."

She nodded, "You are right Sareanna. I thank you for pointing out my flaws. I admit I always thought i was strong enough to lead this little civil war. But i do know I need mroe strength and I need to train better." She sighed again, "I will seek you out when I am ready. Good evening Sareanna." She turned on her heel and picked up her gear then headed back to the village to drown her thoughts in a bottle of rum and to curse herself for her stupidness.

She watched her go, and just shook her head. Bending down to pick up her items, she placed them all on, and then she disappeared into the darkness of the plains.
