"I'm sure you were, Desther." She sensed some distress between one of the people who just passed by. She wondered which one but did not bother wasting her energies in finding out. She looked at Desther, with a sly smile on her face. "I serve no god. I only take the teachings of each and use them towards my ultimate goal. There is no such thing as a god. None govern our lives. The only gods among us are life and death, which choose to bring us life and death which chooses to take it from us, and even those two forces I do not serve."

He broke a brief smile on his face, looking at her silently. A woman with many secrets, something he did like. Nothing was better than a mystery, it was fun to uncover the hidden truths. He stood straight, and let three droplets of water form on the tips of his fingers. No one could see them except him. He threw them into the small crater, watching as it filled up with a good amount of water, almost like a pond. "Interesting take you have on such things. Most believe there are higher powers who can manipulate and create things that we cannot fathom. I will take it that you know more than one concentration with your vocation."

He sighed and just shook his head, "Iaraya, why are you being so difficult? Are you still angry because of what happend with your people?" He looked at her breifly then looked away, "You know sometimes we do things out of anger and sadness that we don't mean to do. In my case ti was what I always did as an Angel. So I wasn't used to being a Fallen yet and Ceresa died so it made ti worse. WE fell together. But I have tried to make it up to your mother and your people for what I did."

She shook her head and just sighed, "Spare me the history lesson Arioch. Just because you are marrying my mother does not mean you can pretend to be my father. My father is dead. This has nothing to do with you at all. I do not hate you and I don't resent you. If anything we have something in common and that is we both hurt the Elven race." She kept walking not noticing that her Tiara had fell from her pocket and rolled over by the other Elf and the Demon. She was too busy thinking about other things.

She nodded, leaning against the tree and crossing her arms. "You would be correct. You seem to know much of me, yet I'm still unsure of you. I only know two definitive things, well three, you are a male, a demon with something more complex within him, and you're powerful." She chuckled. "Yes, that's probably as much as anyone will ever get close." She turned her head, noticing something glitte on the ground, then eyed the Fallen and the Elf.

"Yes, and that's all you need to know, Dánëa' Aré." He said simply, knowing that would be the end of it. He felt a sudden wind pick up, and eyed the leaves in the ground warily. He smirked, having a slight inclination. He picked his head up, turning westward, he felt it. He felt one of them leave their home. It wasnt one of the more powerful of the four, most likely one of their children, and he could guess which ones it was. He eyed Dánëa' Aré. "We must go soon, something this way comes."

They walked in silence for a long time. He refused to retort to what she had said. The day was getting on and he still needed to go see Niessa and Alder. He sighed and sighed looking at Iaraya, "I trust you can make it home by yourself. I need to go see My grandchildren and look in on their mother and father." He looked around and nodded to her, "Good Day to you Iaraya. I will tell your mother we have spoken." He smiled breifly and then disappeared.

She ignored him as he faded. She knew her way back to the Tower. She knew most of the town by this time. It seems that is all she did was walk around watchign the different creatures react to each other. She could feel a sadness from the Tower and she knew she should go back. She reached into her pocket to place her Tiara back on her head, but it was gone. She looked around and couldnt see it. She looked back the way they had just came and saw it glittering in front of the couple they had just passed. She groaned inwardly and walked towards them, mummbleing to herself. As she drew closer she felt the wind whip across her face for a moment. She looked up at the couple, not watching where it was she was going. As she drew level with them her foot struck somethign and she tripped, reaching out to grab for somethignt o hold her up.

"In which case, I must take my leave. I've something to 'investigate.' Do not straggle on for far too long. I sense something very odd in the air. I shall meet you back in the agreed upon place." A wind came around her and the dirt picked up from the ground, enveloping her as she faded away.

He watchd her go, and watched the Elven Maiden silently. Her tiara made it all to obvious what she was. He turned intent on leaving, when he felt something grab him, and knew it was the Maiden. He held onto the trunk of the tree with one hand, and grabbed her with the other. Standing firmly, he straighted himself, and did the same with her, not wanting to take an unexpected dip in the small pond-like pool of water in the crater.

She felt him grab her and then straighten her. She sighed and looked up at him blushing slightly. "I'm very sorry sir. I must have lost my footing. It is the first time it has happend." She released her grasp on him and smiled sheepishly, "I am truly sorry. Thank you for not letting me fall." She looked around not seeing the other Maiden and noted she was alone with him.

He pulled his hand away. "You should be more careful." He turned and pointed to the pond behind him. "You could have fallen in and taken me with you. But regardless, it's alright, no harm done." He felt another gust of wind, and figured what was going on. "Yes, of course." His thoughts becoming preoccupied for a time.

She nodded, "I was preoccupied with my thoughts." She looked at the pond and for once was glad for the help of another, "I'm very sorry sir again." She watched him for a moment and then knelt picking up her Tiara, it was dirty and had grass stuck in it. She sighed and began to pull the grass from it. "My name is Iaraya Taralom. But I will not hold you from whatever it is you need to do." She turned and started walkign away, pulling the dirt and grass from her Tiara still.

He eyed her. "That seems to be a common trait going about this place recently." He picked up a diamond that seemed to have come off her tiara. He watched her go, and turned once more. He had business to attend to, and he couldnt lose anymore time speaking with anyone, even if the person was a beautiful Elven Maiden. He pocketed the diamond, deciding to give it to her if they crossed paths once more. He watched her once more, and then let a flame whirl around him, as he disappeared.

She sighed and finally got most of the muck out of her Tiara. But then she noticed one of the jewels were missing. She sighed and looked back. The man was gone and she didn't want to go back now anyway. She just wanted to get home. She sighed again and then slowly disappeared from where she was.
