THUD. She landed on the ground, leaving but a mere imprint of her feet after the perilous fall. She landed on her feet, but bent her body down to hold off the force of gravity. Her Katana already out, dug right into the ground. She looked around cautiously, her eyes observing the calmness of the area. She turned her head, to every spot within view, the wind blowing her hair as she did so, hiding small spots of land. She stood, pulling her sword out and placing her Katana back at it's side. The hilt always pointing in her direction for easy access. She carried a Silver Bow and Arrow set, each arrow having a feather of a different color to signify it's affects. She walked soundlessly among the plains. She caught a glimpse of the town and wondered of what forced had drawn her to this place of the many around this area.

He heard his boots crunch against the leaves and then he laughed softly as the child beside him tugged at his pants once more."What is it little one?" He looked down but continued to walk along the dirt path."Not all Mages are bad, but not all Mages are good. You must understand though, that with every creature there is a good and a bad. Do no trust until you are absolutely positive of yourself. Understood?" He smiled as the boy nodded and then ran off, back to his friends."I can not fathom that I was ten times more annoying at that age." He laughed and sped up in his pace, his eyes pacing back and forth over the text of a book he held in his hands.

She took a shortcut from the long path of the Plains. There was no need to spend anymore time here than what she'd already spent. She knew areas like this always tended to have a good amount of people around and she avoided them at all costs. Far too long did she know about the troubles all creatures brought into the world. Problems that could be stopped with a little commonsense, of course no one knew this, only those truly at one with nature knew. She stopped, and heard the footsteps of a creature running towards her. She eyed it silently, until it was within view. She bent down, and closed her eyes, petting behind it's ears. It was only a little cub, a little white leopard cub she had found a few days ago and had been so captivated by. She stood slowly, giving the creature a brief smile. She knew she had been in need of an Animal Companion, and could only rejoice at having been so lucky to find such a beautiful and rare creature in her travels.

Yawning, he just continued on reading, making some mental notes about what was in the book. To anyone else they would just be illegible lines and markings. He thought maybe Hannibal would be able to read the writing of the ancient line, and maybe, since they had inherited his blood; Mae, Fenrir, Lucifer, and Marcus.

Sensing children nearby, she made a turn and watched as the Leopard cub follow. She couldnt quite explain it, but she was being called towards another spot of the Plains. If it was Nature, or her any other force was beyond her. She stopped, and turned, eyeing the kitten as it began to bite into the trunk of a tree. "Demon, stop that." She walked towards it, but saw it only run away. She knew it was being playful and now was not the time. She ran after it, watching as it maneuvered through the shrubbery with ease. She could make another out. They were reading some type of book, and they were walking towards the intersecting path, that cut off Demon's path. She hurried and managed to pick Demon up before he was stepped on. She looked at and spoke to him using her mind and her animal empathy.

Sensing the movement, he took his eyes off the book and looked at the woman and the cub in her arms and closed the book, strapping it along his side in a leather pouch."Hello. Was I about to step on that little one?"

She placed Demon on the ground, eyeing the stranger and nodded. "Yes." She took a brief glance at the book he was reading, then just looked at him in the eye. After a few seconds, she followed Demon with her eyes, watching as he went off to bite at a bird.

"Then I shall take more care when I walk and read." he nodded and watched the cub run off and smiled at it. He loved animals, and this was no different. Turning his attention back to the woman, he looked her up and down, noting her weapons."New here?"

She nodded and moved into the openness of the path. She could sense others moving about the plains and if there was something she loathed was being in am area where she was easy target for whoever. "Yes." She looked at him. He looked familiar. "You're from Satani Vies, aren't you?"

When she had asked him this, he had wondered why and his hand went instinctively to his dagger."Perhaps. Why would you ask?" he just put his senses up, making sure he was ready for anything. Usually, anyone who spoke of Satani Vies, brought along bad, at least in his life. He wasn't sure how that went for Hannibal.

"Familiarity." She gave a nod, and moved her eyes to see his sudden movement to his weapon. She stood perfectly still, she never moved first. Only when situations needed it and even then, she made sure the other person gave just cause for attacking. She had seen him before, years ago, when she was a little girl, and her mother had been training her to change between her Centaur and her human forms. She vaguely remembered speaking to him, he was much older, but he was kind to her, even if only that one time they had seen each other.

"Then remind me who you are if you are familiar with me." he let go of his dagger and relaxed a little, wondering who she was, and how she had come to know him without him remembering."Through my brother?"

She shook her head when he mentioned his brother; hearing Demon growl at a bird and then towards herself and the stranger. He went right to the stranger and started biting and playing with the string of his boots. She moved her hand from near the hilt of her Katana to a pocket. She pulled out a piece of parchment, which read the title A Poem of Kingly Infamy and held a very well written poem. "Yours. You dropped it many years ago, when you were playing with a small centaurian girl."

He laughed and read the poem. "Wow, you've kept this that long. I always wondered where it went. My brother wrote it for me once, one of the last things he had done before, well, he got mean." He nodded and remembered her slightly, recognizing her aura."I had showed you the scar he gave me. Brother could be very mean when he wanted to, but then he wrote this horrid, but hilarious poem. He's going to keel over when I show him this."

She nodded, and pulled out the scar she held on her wrist, which was what made him show her the both the poem and his scar and tell him the tale on his brother. She pointed behind the parchment. "You wrote a poem on the back, yourself to counter-act what was said in the front page. I remember your handwriting, you wrote on the ground after you drew an ugly picture of your brother." She bent down, calling Demon towards her.
