She listened intently, more grateful than anything that he was telling her of what he knew. What he spoke of, made some sense. She had seen many a time demons going into the stupor and while many lost their lives, the very few who did not, managed to gain amazing strength. "The battle of the Fort was a very bloody one. Though I was just passing by the town, I managed to see some of the carnage that was done outside of its walls. I could hear the agnonizing screams of those inside. I even saw the day it's doors closed to not let any others ever enter upon it's gates." She ran her hands over her face. "I have reason to believe that something very big, has occured within the Abyss. Even to the point, that those who had already resided within with no way of escaping have done the impossible and have escaped." She put her hand over the trunk of the tree.

"Very much impossible. Only the ones who have descended directly could even possibly somehow manage a small opening. It's too much it's own being and a lot of magic is needed. Sorina, please, rest assured that as hated as our kind is, we are not stupid. The complications of our own lines I think were done on purpose, to make it so none could ever wield the powers that each of these places give. More than just battles were what the fort was for. There's more to each of those than is said I think."

She shook her head. "Orenar, I wish I could take comfort in your words and have that be the end of it. But I have felt so many things coming from the south. I know many places line up there, but it was specifically in the Abyss. I have been there before. Which is why I am so certain. And until recently, I believed what you said, that nothing could get out. But it has come to my attention that the ruler of the Abyss has been killed. And though many would not believe me, I have an inclination of who might be responsible for it." She laughed bitterly. "You might think me a fool, but I had a vision of a great war erupting, and it will affect everyone, regardless of race."

"Demons control all three things, only those who are pure could have any effect of it. Even if they are dead, I still disagree with you Sorina. I am sorry, but this war could be centuries away, this could be a tiny little thing which you are letting get way out of hand. Demons have been through much, we are by far, much more designed for battle than the other races." He nodded, very sure of himself.

She smiled briefly, he had a point, but then again she, just as Dante, Aleister and Aleera have seen and been in more battles than he could fathom. "We will see in due time. I hope you are right. I would celebrate if I were wrong." She laughed. "And only I would celebrate being wrong." She nodded. "Thank you."

He shrugged."If you're right, demons shall take up what was theirs. You can't take from us what isn't yours. You will suffer the consequences. If you are anything, even slightly mixed, you will suffer. That is how it works, how it has always worked. You and the other races can cower and fear for the lives of others, but that is something demons do not have, never have had." He nodded and faded away a bit angrily.

She watched him fade. "You have no idea of what's to come. And though Aleister, might find me foolish to remain ruminating on this, I cannot rest until I find out. And I hope, that I am wrong." She walked away.
