Just Another Day Doing That Thing You Do

"You will give them up, or you will suffer the repercussions. Do not tempt me Captain. You do not wish to be looked upon with disgust by your own camp, your own people. I will dismiss you from any duty or affiliation you have with this camp. I will leave you for the enemy to take care of." He eyed her angrily.

She felt her bloodrage rising slowly, something she needed to keep in check. True, it did heighten her abilities, but it also caused her to lose control. She pulled out a flask and drunk from it. She tended to blood animals to drink from them, instead of hurting humans. But she also drunk from Vampires, which were her favorites, because she refused to harm any innocents. When she finished, she placed the flask into her pocket, and then removed her double blades and threw it right infront of his feet, looking at him.

He walked towards them and picked them up."You will learn when to say things and when not to say things. One day swords won't cut it. You will need to know temperance and words, and you Captain, do not have either." He shook his head and eyed the blades."Very nice. Perhaps I'll use the metal to make a new sword."

She clenched her teeth, when he mentioned what he wanted to do with her blades. She stood still, she couldnt lose her calmness again. She had temperance and words, but not with people who didnt care for the wellbeing of those around him. What did he know, he was just a newcomer, but to her, these recruits were acquaintances in one form or another, and none deserved to die eventhough she knew some would, because it was what occured during war.

"I see. Your actions do not cover the fact of what you possibly feel for these weapons. I have seen you wield them, you do them some justice." He swung them back and forth."Perhaps I'll make marbles from them so we have a game to play. I'm sure you wouldn't mind." He was testing her, seeing how far she'd allow herself to be pushed.

She bit her lower lip, watching the way he handled her blades. He wasnt too bad at it, but he was doing it wrong. It was an art not just some hobby on how to learn to wield them. They were made of the finest and rarest form of silver, one which exhuded supernatural powers, but of course only she knew about them. She looked away, at some leaf on the ground. She couldnt allow herself to lose it again.

"I see. No argument or words otherwise. I will do with them what I see fit." He nodded and just threw them into the bag he had slung on his back."You will learn to respect those with a higher rank than yourself. You will realize that despite what you think, if there was a reason why I wouldn't be here, you would think I wouldn't try to achieve the rank I have. Think about that Fey."

She watched as her blades were so carelessly thrown into his bag, as if they were nothing more or less than mere toys. She clenched her hands into a fist, drawing blood in them, as a means to cope with the situation. "I understood nothing of your second part of your statement, General." She sighed internally, and slowly turned to face him again.

"No matter. Go take a bath, you're filthy." He turned and walked away, disappearing into one of the tents set up in the camp.

When he had disappeared into the camp she pulled out a dagger and threw it infront of her, watching as it hit in the chest an enemy. She had no idea how he had managed to get this far, but she would take care of him. She walked towards him, pulling the dagger out, and let her fangs retract. She dug them into his skin and drunk until there was no blood left. And after she tossed the body she disappeared among the trees.
