The sounds of the water soothed her thoughts. She had returned almost a week ago, but it hadnt been the same. It was more her than anyone else. She had spent most of the day by the cliffs, just overlooking the tops of trees, while sensing the humans and the other few creatures who walked to the lake to take a dip. She pursed her lips, and laid her chin on the knees she held with her arms, just imagining the most random things.

He waved goodbye as Regulus faded away and then rubbed his shoulder, a long gash on his arm. Simply shrugging it away from his mind, he continued walking, sensing his mother, but not stopping.

She picked up a few rocks and started moving them in the palm of her hands. She had sensed a Demon that had just left, and Dalon as well. She shifted, just enough to look at him from the corner of her eyes. She threw the rocks out, hearing a bird squawk not too far off.

He just glanced at her some and then continued walking, looking over the cliff, walking right at the edge and then he let himself fall over, and fell, felt himself falling even further and then faded right back to the top.

She raised an eyebrow, wondering what in the world he was up to. She found herself moving from her spot, to watch him fall, and then disappear, only to fade back. She wasnt sure what he was trying to accomplish with this, so she just spoke. "Trying to give yourself a rush?"

"It's fun, I must admit." he nodded. "When you've got nothing to do sometimes, you experiment." He nodded and then rubbed his throat. His voice was deep, and flowed nicely. He enjoyed it.

She almost choked. Just as she had done the days before, still not quite used to hearing her sons voice. But she smiled, then chuckled. "I wouldnt know, but I'll take your word for it. And yes, it is good to experiment, you learn a lot." She got up, and slapped the dirt from her hands, looking over the cliff.

"Mhmm." he nodded and then stood over the edge again and doved, his hands back, just feeling the wind against his face, and then once again faded back to the top of the cliff.

She shook her head, amused at what the young creatures were doing for entertainment nowadays. She chuckled, crossed her arms. "You know, Dalon, if you keep doing that constantly, you'll get tired of it. Maybe you should add a little variation to that."

"Never." he shook his head and then eyed her, walking backwards and let himself fall over the cliff, and looked up the whole time, and afetr some time, he faded back to the top again.

She looked up and just shook her head. "Younglings these days." She chuckled, and decided to join him. She walked to the edge and felt that sinking feeling as she fell, then faded back to the top, and started giggling. "I must admit, that is fun."

He nodded."It's fun, specially when a few of you are going at the same time." he nodded and then just sat down, yawning slightly.

"I'm sure it is. Though you might have to worry about all of you piling up against one another." She stood and looked at him. "I know we've not spoken properly in days, except for the usual passing comments, but tell me, what have you been up to?"

He shrugged."Whatever I want at the time." he shrugged."I can't recall much, but today I have not done much." he shrugged once more.

"Oh, alright." She kicked the dirt, wondering why parenting was just so difficult. "We can only hope that tomorrow is more exciting." She nodded, and looked down at the water.
