He moved his hand up, slightly and saw as the waves were at once commanded by his sudden movements. He moved his other hand, and then moved them apart from one another, and watched as both sides of the bay parted from one another, and a straight dry path appeared before him. He smiled inwardly, this had always been one of his more favorite tricks, and although it didnt take very much effort, it made it easy for him to cross the water when he needed it. He moved his hands and watched the water lay back where it had, and he just sat looking in front of him.

She walked along the edge of the bay, her Elven garments had been discarded and she was now sporting the latest fashions from the city. She had tried to stick with those clothes for as long as she could, but as time went on they started to become unwearable. So she had carefully placed those garments in a box in her closet and had Mae help her find knew ones. She had been hesitant to wear some of the things because they were so form fitting and she didnt like that. But there was one thign she bought that she wanted to try out. Thats what brought her to the bay. A new swimsuit one that was somethign she would have never bought before. A Two peice ensemble that would make her mother choke. IT made her smile thinking of that. Doing something her mother would probably not like. She slowly made her way to the water, stripping off the clothes she had put on over her swim suit. She looked around, only seeing one other person near by. But ti was only one person. Then in one fluent and graceful motion she had dived into the water.

He felt another come within the vicinity but he didnt turn. It wasnt who he was waiting for, and there was no need to bother them if they didnt bother him. He remained sat still, looking to a small bit of pand just above the bay, and could nothing still. He brought his head back to the water and watched as, what he knew now to be a woman, stripped her clothes and got into the Bay. He watched her for a few moments with mild interest then turned his head. He couldnt help but laugh to himself, his children were now doing to him what he did to them. He picked up a sea shell and ran his finger along the bivalve catching brief glimpses of the woman, and noted how beautiful she was.

She swam deep under the water, and started to swim towards the opposite bank. As she swam she could feel the strong presence of someone who she had met once. And who she would never forget about. She didnt know why but ever since that first day they had met she had not been able to forget him. She swam a bit deeper and for once doing something out of character she swam towards the man. As she drew near to him she saw a thick patch of sea growth. She swam into it and looked up at the man who was there. She smiled to herself, and started to turn. One look was all she had wanted, but as she started to swim away she felt herself being pulled back. She looked down at her foot to see that it was tangled dangerously in many of the sea plants. She tried to tear them off her leg, but they wouldn't budge. She could feel her lungs begin to seize from the lack of air. She started to panic, this was not who she wanted to die.

She shifted, the day was becoming even duller by the minute now. He stood intent on going to find his daughter himself since he was obviously bored, but he stopped, the waves crashing against the shoreline, told a story and it wasnt a good one. He noticed that the beautiful maiden that had been swimming before was no longer there and he understood. He dove into the water, swimming with a speed he knew no one would have except for himself and his children, and only because they were all apart of the seas. He looked around, and spotted her, and around her feet was tangled seaweed. He hurried to her side, and moved near her feet. He waved his wrist, the plants at once untangling from her feet, and he held her in his arms, and swam as quickly as possible to the shore.

She made a few last feeble atempts at untangeling herself. Finally she had resolved herself to dieing under water where no one would probably find her. She closed her eyes as she felt herself begin to black out. But then she felt someone nearby, she opened her eyes in time to see Desther swimming towards her. She watched him, but it felt like she was watching him from a distance. She could even see herself. She watched as he untangled her and then swam to the shore. She watched as he pulled her onto the shore and lay her on the sand. She smiled for a moment as she felt herself being pulled back towards her body. Then everything went black.

He looked down at her, and then moved his wrist. He didnt do anything else. The water which she had swallowed began to spill from her. This was one of the gifts of being God of Water, being able to control, manipulate and create water from everywhere. He looked down, and knew there was still a bit in her lungs, and he knew the danger she might get into if he tried pulling the water from her with his abilities. He placed his mouth against her, and breathed into her, then pushed down from her chest cavity, and repeated the same steps.

She could feel the breath being forced into her lungs. She tried to inhale it, but something was blocking it. Suddenly she opened her eyes and turned to her side and started to cough up the water that had been in her lungs. She gagged and spit it out, trying to inhale as she did so. Only causing her to choke more. Finally after many minutes of coughing she could breath. It was still slightly labored but it was there. She laid her head in the sand, trying to calm herself more. Aware of who had saved her she wanted to have at least some compusre so she could thank him. Finally she turned her head and sat up slowly and looked at him, "Thank you."

He moved the instant she jolted up and observed her silently. She was alive, which was all that mattered. He shifted from his spot, and cracked his knuckles. "You're welcome." He said to her and gave her a very brief smile. He wasnt one to smile or show too much emotion and this was the best he could muster for a stranger. He looked behind him, the waves calming down now, which means he'd fixed the problem.

She looked at him for many moments, unsure of what to say to him. IT was awkward for her, and since she barely knew him or what he was, it made it even harder. She looked out over the Bay and brought her knees to ehr chest, trying to cover herself from his veiw, "I would have died had you not been here. Suddenly thank you does not seem to be enough. I owe you my life."

He shook his head. "Nonsense, you seem to be a very strong Elven Maiden, I'm sure you would have found a way to free yourself eventually." He looked at her and pulled off his jacket, placing it around her. "But I would advise you to be more careful, M'lady. Danger is everywhere, as you can see, even the simple weeds of the ocean can become your worse enemies in a matter of seconds."

"Maybe, but I felt my life slipping when you arrived. I am forever in debt to you." She smiled and hugged the jacket around her, feeling the warmth from his body, instantly start to warm her own, "I was not thinking, I had swam there to..." She cleared her throat and looked away blushing slightly and lowering her voice, "I wanted to get a better look at you." She could feel the heat from the blush and still couldnt believe she ha dmade such a careless mistake, "Yes I will be more aware of that from now on."

He turned to her the instant he heard her reasoning for being there. He couldnt help but smile. "I assure you, almost getting yourself killed is not a suitable price to pay for 'getting a better look at me, Mlady.' Next time you would be better suited to just come forth towards me, at least you would not risk your life in such a careless way, but nonethless I am struck by such an act on your part." He pulled out a rather large diamond from his pocket which he had found the day she dropped her tiara. Of course he recognized her by now. He put it forward. "You dropped this, I believe."

She blushed even brighter and didnt meet his gaze, "And risk being turn away. I am not one to approach anyone. Even if we have met before. Besides you do not need someone gawking at you." She looked at him finally, "Funnything is I would do it all over again." She watched in awe as he held out the missing diamond from her tiara. She pulled her arm from the Jacket and took it, "Thank you. I came back to look for it after I discovered it missing. But I could not find it. I can now put it back on my crown and put it away."

"Regardless, it was foolish, and shouldnt risk your life over getting a 'good look' at anyone. No one is worth your life...unless they are your children." He stood from his bent down position. "You're shivering, maybe it would be best for you to put your clothes on. I will walk you home, in case you go into a delayed shock." He eyed her with seriousness, then looked up. He saw Nelaysa had finally appeared and he shut his eyes, speaking to her. He saw a nod from her, as she walked away, and he turned back to the Elven Maiden.
