He walked along the wall of the fortress, eyeing it silently. On the door there had been a carving, and he had wondered what it meant. It looked only slightly familiar, but he knew the doors were closed, and he hadn't tried opening them, but knew they hadn't been opened in centuries. Shrugging, he moved towards a fresh spot of grass and sat down, laying back. "Why must you curse me so?"

She had been sitting on the branch of a nearby tree for sometime now, when she noticed him walk by. He made his way to a patch of grass right next to the tree, and she just watched him silently. She jumped off of the branch trying not to make too much noise. "Curse you, you say?"

He nodded and looked at her. "Cursed, yes, because of the fact that I am finding nothing to do around here as of late." He shrugged and looked away from her.

"Interesting. That should be a welcomed cause for you to go off on an adventure. Slay dragons, kill evil kings, meet and fall in love with a defenseless princess." She watched him quietly.

"I do not wish to fall in love with a defenseless princess. Then I would have to protect her every waking minute of my life. Not fun." He shook his head and looked at her silently.

"Maybe she will act defenseless only to have you save her, and then show her true colors." She sat on the grass infront of him, turning to the Fortress mometarily. "It has a gruesome history, doesnt it?" She knew because she had sensed many spirits within the walls of the fortress.

He nodded. "Even before my time even. I know the stories. Most demon children know them very well, if they pay attention." He looked to her and then to the fortress and back to her again. "I wish to hold you Sareanna. Do not question it. Yes or no."

She took another look at the fortress. "I will have to find someone to tell me the stories then." She turned to him, a bit surprised by his request and then answered. "Yes." She sat staring at him.

"Ok." he nodded and pulled her over to sit on his lap as his arms came around her tightly. He pressed her head to rest on his shoulder. "I know the stories well Sareanna. As do a few friends of mine."

She attempted to suppress the smile that was aching to come out, but she couldnt. She shut her eyes, taking in his scent, his aura. A demon like no other, she would say to herself. "Then regail me with the stories, Ather. You cannot condemn a person for being curious."

"You can wait some Sareanna." His nose moved along her cheek, touching her skin softly and then he brushed his lips along her cheek now, kissing her flesh softly.

She opened her eyes to stare at him, silently. She turned her head, and her breath caught in her throat as their lips met, when he tried to brush the cheek that was no longer there.

He kissed her longingly. For some odd reason, he had wanted this for awhile now, since they had last met. He couldn't explain it, but he just kept kissing her.

She could sense this deep burning desire to be with him. She just couldnt understand it, but she was not going to deny it either. She kissed him back, for as long as she could, letting herself taste every bit of his mouth. This seemed right, like it was all meant to happen.

Leaning back, he was now laying back on the grass, rubbing her back. Pulling away, he looked into her eyes, breathing silently, almost not breathing at all it seemed. "Why? Why do I have to need you like this Sareanna? What spell have you cast over me?"
