He appeared on the grass about ten feet from the fortress, figuring his mother would already be there. She wasn't anywhere in sight and he sighed. He'd listened to her and Hades speaking and had left immediately as she had, but figured she was figuring out some last minute stuff, OR had run into Niessa. Looking around, he eyed the doors to the fortress and smiled at them, actually smiled. Turning away, his demeanor was back again, normal Alder mode.

"You should tell me when you're off to cause trouble and mayhem, Alder." She frowned. "I wanna help." She smiled slightly. She appeared out of the blue, staring at her brother. She too had heard the conversation between her mother and her grandfather, but only because she was trying to sneak back in through the backporch. She looked at the infamous fortress, the building that had taken their father away.

She had gone off long enough to meditate for a few moments. She wanted to be at her best when she was preparing to face the Ancient within Cerberus. And in some aspects come to peace within herself. Although she was confident in her abilities, she knew how chaotic events might be. As she faded inches from the Fortress a smile could not help but cross her lips. Both her children there. She knew this would happen. "You both never cease to amaze me."

"I take it that's why you've kept us so long" He nodded and smiled."What do we do? Go inside? Wait here for the party? Or is daddy dearest going to get rid of us once in for all?" He rolled his eyes and rolled up his sleeves, stretching.

She looked at her mother, for a moment. "It's what we do. We're the twin wonders." She walked up next to Alder, cracking her knuckles. She was ready for whatever was about to happen.

"We wait for his arrival. And although I hoped for you both to be far away from this, I will ask you both, the moment I begin to fight with your father, run and do not turn back." She eyed the building, sensing the malevolent spirits all about the fortress. "This goes especially for you Alder."

"Why me?" he frowned and eyed Niessa."She's the one that starts the most trouble you know." He listened to her instructions and shrugged."I'll see what happens mom. Besides, I run horribly slow at the moment, so I might as well just stay."

She gave Alder a glared. "I am NOT. It's you, so dont start." She rolled her eyes, and looked a her mother. "I wont make any promises. I'm not going to lose my mom or dad." She cracked her neck.

"Do not start, either of you. This is a very delicate situation." She shook her head. Why did her children have to get their grandfather's stubbornness. "I expect you both to listen to me. If I am forced to blow either of you from the vicinity then so be it." She turned around looking at them both seriously then back at the fortress. It was time. She stepped close to it. "Ancient, make yourself known."

Several minutes passed by and what was supposed to be Ceberus appeared, but he was different now. His skin was darkened, blackening, looking slightly scaly. Huge black wings protruded from his back and he was at least eight or nine feet tall now. His voice was slightly hoarse, and deep, and it boomed loudly."What do you want Fallen?" The ground shook beneath him and several locations began to crack, the foundation of the Fortress shuddering violently. His eyes glowed a deep red, and he eyed the children."I see you have brought a bargain?"

He growled when he saw his father and stepped forward."Were not a bargain you monster!" He glared at this thing and stepped ahead of his mother, cracking his knuckles."Come on mom, let me fight him."

She tapped her foot on the ground, till she felt something really close by and seconds later she would be staring at her father. Only it wasnt her father, it wasnt. He was different. His voice was different and she knew this was the monster everyone had spoken about. She moved forward. "We're not some bargain, you tool."

She hurriedly grabbed Alder by the arm and shook her head. "No." She spoke in a commading voice. As soon as Niessa stepped she grabbed her arm too. "Neither of you move." She stepped forward, walking towards the Ancient, staring at him with not as much as a flinch. "They are no bargain for you. I've come to bring my husband back."

"Your husband is no longer alive woman. He is gone, and he is never coming back to you, or anyone of this world. He was born for this purpose, his father foresaw it. Perhaps he does not think so, but this has been in the works for eons." He watched the children with malicious amusement."How sweet, willing to fight for something they are far too weak to even put a challenge towards, and such little faith a mother has in her own creations."

He felt his mother's grip on him and strained against it."Let go mom. Let go!" He looked at her angrily and started pulling away roughly. All the while, he stared at this monster, wanting to tear him to pieces.
