He held onto Huiso's reins. The horse moving about slowly, and calmly as the Elven peoples walked about greeting him. He gave a nod to them, and hurried along. He had sensed the many deaths of his people and the thought saddened him greatly. He had also sensed a Fallen Angel within the confines of the Palace, wondering if he was culprit. He gave a slight sigh, and came to a halt, he jumped off Huiso, and spoke to him in Elvish. The creature ran off, and he found himself walking about somewhat lazily.

He was still off-duty but eyed the prince from where he was. Interesting Elf to say the least, since not many knew of certain things he had done, but seeing as Cirdan himself was pretty involved in the happenings of the family, he simply walked over, and once again, he felt he had been doing this a lot lately, kneeled in front of the prince and bowed his head."Prince Eärnursëáto."

He looked up, from the ground, he had been admiring the plants for awhile now, until he had heard his name. He saw Cirdan and smiled to him. "Come now, on your feet. There is no reason for you to bow, you know how I loathe that." He laughed. "I blame Neca for that." He came towards him. "How has your returned been, my good elf?"

"It has been well. Yours m'lord?" He looked to Eärnursëáto, and remembered the times when he was younger and Eärnursëáto had spent time with him more than other children being taught by the guard. The man was older, but it wasn't a huge gap, but it he was still older and he even recalled times they had went hunting together when Cirdan was a young, wild elf who was in risk of being kicked off of the guard. This had changed though, he couldn't remember a time that they had spoken for more than five minutes.

He smiled for a moment. "Let us just say in my welcoming back home I may have found a creature that shall tempt me to stay here for far longer than I had imagined." He laughed, and patted his shoulder. "Come now, let us go get something to eat and converse, we have much catching up to do. I regret the fact that we barely spoke in Hiswe, but even in my sister's steed, I had to rule beside her, I'm sure you remember that incident with the old Istari." He shook his head. "May he rest in peace."

He nodded and bowed his head. Then looking up he eyed him with a frown. "Time to spend with me? Cirdan Dariel? The one elf they never thought would make it to a top ranking position?" He eyed Eärnursëáto and shook his head."You're obviously lying. You must have far more important things to deal with, let alone eating with myself."

He looked at Cirdan, unnerving. "My good Elf, do you not hear an invitation? Neca shouldnt be the only member of our family to get you to herself." He laughed. "What's come over you as of late, second-guessing myself? Have I ever lied to you?" He bowed as a Elven Maiden walked past them. "You may be a member of the guard, but we were friends first and foremost, were we not?"

"Yes, yes we were." He nodded. But that's changed. He eyed Eärnursëáto and smiled, though he knew the man would sense something was wrong, but that was fine, he always did no matter what seemed to run through someone's head."Truth of the matter is, you simply ignored me after awhile. Being the elf that I was, your guiding mind meant a lot to me. As if you were, well, I know somewhere, it is probably forbidden to consider you in this way, but like you were my brother."

"Ignored? I suppose being sent off to Hiswe to rule during my father's steed, after his death is ignoring, then once more in my sister's. You forget that as you have your duties I have mine, whether we dislike them or love them. You make it sound as if it were my choice to do so. Have I not always tried to speak to you, mind you, the conversations do not last for long because I am always called upon, but I have tried." He laughed. "Let whoever be angry by your words. As far as I am concerned we are brothers."

He shook his head. "You're right. We have our duties, and I let that cloud my judgement." He frowned and shook his head once more, and punched him on the shoulder lightly."Then since I am by far the younger, you will buy me my food." he nodded."It is settled then, but, how are you? How is everything?" There seemed to be a hidden meaning behind his questions, asking not only about Eärnursëáto, but something more.

He winced, and laughed. "Your punch is hurts far more than I remembered." He looked about, and saw the doors to one of the restaurants of their peoples and headed for it. "We are well. I suspect he will be joining me soon aswell. Ireth knows of this arrival already and has set a room for him in the palace. Of yourself, friend?"

"I have been alright. I have had weird feelings lately, among other things." He was more secretive to their family than their family was to him, but they seemed to respect his choice and for that he was grateful. He would tell them as soon as he realized more of it himself. He held the door open and entered with Eärnur, and looked around, getting them a table.

He followed inside and joined him at the table, looking about at a few Elves who bowed their heads to him, and he just shook his head. He really did loathe it. "Ahh, I hope its is nothing to cause distress in you." He moved back, as a maiden brought them two bowls of soup for starters, and he took a spoonful of it.

He nodded."It has troubled me some nights, where other nights, it does nothing." it seemed that certain demonic traits were creeping into his habits, and it was weird to him, sensing other things that elves could not. He looked around, wincing, rubbing the side of his temples, and then looked at Earnur and then around the restaurant and in one instant, he was on one side of the table, and the next, he was diving at Earnur, taking him down to the ground as the buidling beside them exploded the wall beside them and Cirdan felt the flames burning his back and neck, but the priority was to make sure that the Prince wa salright. he felt stone and wood hit him roughly, but he kept his position over the prince so as no damage would come to him. Finally when the rubble and dust settled, he looked at the prince in a daze."Are you alright Earnur?"

He had no idea what had happened, but one moment he was eating his soup and the next Cirdan was ontop of him after a very loud noise. It was a few minutes before he knew was had happened and he gently placed Cirdan next to him, and looked out, the building next to them almost obliterated. He nodded. "Aye, I am fine, and you?" He saw some of his skin was red and burnt, and frowned. "Come on, we'll get you to palace and heal you."
