He clapped as Theoden walked slowly, while making a few cooing sounds. He had been working with his son whenever he had free time to help him learn how to walk faster. He laughed a bit and picked him up in his arms, poking Theoden's stomach softly, hearing him laugh. He held him tight and kissed his forehead. "Theoden, my son, the great warrior."

She had not had much time to herself lately. She was usually always with her son or with Earnur. And more then often them both. But she did not mind. She was happy and nothing could change that. But now she had time to herself. Time to relax and to just concentrate on her newest passion. Sketching. She had gotten a parchment booklet and a few charcoal pencils and started to search for something to sketch. But nothign caught her fancy till she saw her husband and her son. She had not intended on them being her subjects, but they were so cute together she couldnt resist. She unfolded her wings and slowly flew herself to a branch above them. Then sitting down her back against the tree she began to sketch them.

He saw his son grab his finger and squeezed, he smiled and made made pretend it was hurting him. "Well take a look at that. By the time you're five you'll be able to defeat your old man in a fight." He laughed and sat his son down, watching as the little tyke got up, and started walking again, although this time it was to chase a firefly. He followed him with his eyes, and made crawled near him, just incase he faltered.

She smiled as she watched them, sketching every feature. When she finished with one she started another. This time she captured her son chasing the firefly. She laughed a bit loudly when she saw Earnur crawl after him and then placed her hand over her mouth, smudging a bit of the charcoal on her cheek. She stopped her giggling and then started to sketch them again, taking her fnger and softening some of the more harsher looking lines.

He managed to catch up to his son, who seemed to be pretty quick for someone his age. He grabbed him by the stomach and then stood up, holdig him tall. "Come here, you. It's nap time. Would you like me to join you, Theoden?" When he saw his son nod he smiled and laid down on a blanket he had placed specifically for that. "Off you go on your nap." He held him on his lap and started to sing him an Elven Lullaby.

She needed to get closer to them without disturbing Theoden. She knew if he saw her he would want her and she did not want to take away from the time they were spending. She disappeared into the Ethreal Realm and then again flew from the tree. She refolded her wings and then carefully she made her way closer. She kenw that they couldnt hear her but it didnt stop her from being careful. She smiled as she stopped a few feet from them and lowered herself to the ground, crossing her legs and again began to sketch them together. But then her husbands face captured a specific light and she began a new picture. Of just his face.

When he knew his son had slowly drifted into sleep, he gently placed him on the blanket, watching as the child slept, soundlessly. He smiled, thinking he looked like an angel. But soon his mind became plagued by the thoughts of the wife that had died during childbirth. He frowned as thoughts of that day came through his head, he sat up running his hands over his face. He turned to Theoden, once again and smiled briefly. "I wonder how events would have changed had Gareisa not died in childbirth. Knowing that your birth mightn't have ever occured, saddens me. But knowing that your brother also died, saddens me as well. But now that you are here, I see how fortunate a creature I am to have such a beautiful son. "

Her pencil paused over a feature she was drawing when he began to speak. IT was about his past, something he rarely spoke of. A tear ran down her cheek, thinking about what her life would be without him. Garesia..That was her name then. A very pretty name, belonging to a very beautiful woman no doubt. She sighed as she looked at her husband, then down at the sketch, it had smeared mark on it from where her tear had fallen. She sighed slightly because it had made him look like he was crying. She did not feel like finishing the drawing, so she tore it out of the notebook and laid it beside her. Not realising that when it left her possession it would appear in the realm that Earnur was in.

He sighed a bit but then just looked up. She was in another place resting peacefully now. He smiled a bit, just thinking of the day he had met Gareisa, to the day he met Farinele. He turned to Theoden, thinking Farinele procured children as beautiful as her. He turned for a moment to see a notebook at his side. He looked around then picked it up, he saw a drawing of his son, and some of him and his son together. He knew who it was, so he looked around. "Farinele, show yourself, no point in remaining in the Ethereal Realm when I've discovered you nearby."

She cursed herself for being so careless. She quickly wiped the wetness from her eyes, and then faded herself back out of the Ethreal Realm. She smiled slightly then brought her finger to her lips, pointing at Theoden. She stood slowly and then moved off a short distance so as to not disturb their son. She leaned against a tree and waited for him.

He looked at Theoden one more time to make sure he was fine them followed Farinele to the tree. He eyed her, seeing a glint down her cheek, and could guess what it was. He stepped infront of her, smiling softly. "And why is such a beautiful woman crying?" He looked around and just wrapped his arms around her, rubbing her back.

She felt her body mold against his involuntarily. She sighed and just leaned her head against his chest, "It was a single tear. But I could not help but over hear what you were saying. And I couldnt help but think of how our lives would be different if we had never met. And how if i had ever come across you I would have fallen immediately in love with you. And then I would be heart broken because if Garesia was still alive. You'd be hers."

He kept rubbing her back and sighed slightly. He hated telling people of his past, it was too painful, and now Farinele was saddened by all the 'what if's'. We shouldnt think about that, things change, mostly for the best. We met, we fell in love and we have a beautiful son together, Farinele. I was just at a moment of weakness, let us not think about it. We're together now and that is all that matters, my Beautiful Angel."

She smiled up at him and placed a hand on his cheek, "Things do change, but I want to know of your past. Yes I was thinking of the What If's but, My Love, it is apart of life. I know you hate to talk of your past just as much as I hate to talk of my own. But just because we think of the what if's does not mean they will come true. They are simpily that. What If's" She kissed him breifly, "For as long as time allows we are together, and our son has us both. And he can grow up knowing that his parents loved each other just as much as they loved him. But you are right, we are together now and it is all we need."

He kissed her briefly. "I will tell you of my past Farinele, but only when I feel I am ready. It is still very painful, and at times I much rather forget, and I do, when I have you as my wife and such a strong and growing boy." He massaged her back. "But one day we must tell each other everything relevent to our pasts, I do not like to keep things from you, and I do not intend on doing it for very long either."
