She lay on the floor next to Theoden, playing with him and making him laugh. IT was what she spent her days doing now, instead of worrying over Earnur. She was happy as a mother, it filled the void in her heart that being an Angel had once filled. She had once wanted to go back in time and change that she had fell, but now she would not change anything in her past. Not even the way her and Earnur had met. She smiled when Theoden began to laugh and sat up, "Come on little man lets see you walk." She picked him and stood him up, holding by his hands and watched him stand shakily.

He walked into the room, watching Farinele and Theoden silently. His son was growing up very quickly and he couldnt be prouder. He sat on the floor and wrapped an around around her waist and kissed the back of her neck, while watching Theoden. "His growing up quickly. Very son he'll be running about the palace, grabbing everything he can." He chuckled softly, then pulled away, remembering the blood on his clothes.

She was laughing when she felt his arms come around her and his lips brush against her neck. She smiled and nodded, "Yes soon we will all have our hands full. He is your son afterall." She laid Theoden down on his stomach and watched as he began to crawl around. She frowned when he pulled away and turned looking at him. But her breath caught when she saw the blood on him, "Oh Earnur, what happened?"

"He's OUR son after all." He moved to the closet and pulled out another shirt, throwing the bloody one on the floor, and put it on. "I'm not injured, beautiful, if that's what you worry of." He moved back towards Farinele and watched their son crawling like a master. "I found someone injured on my way to the palace so I brought them here so they could be healed. I'm not one to leave one injured if it's in my power to help."

She sighed with releif, "I was worried, I wont lie." She looked down at the shirt and shook her head, "Such a terrible thing when a creature is left to die. It is a good thing you have done. Any other person would have left them there." She looked down when Theoden grabbed her leg and began to try and climb it. She smiled and bent down and picked him up, looking back at her husband, "Well show me this person so I can see what i can do. It has been a long time since I have used my powers to there full extent."

He nodded. "In all truth if they had been dead I would have left them on the path, but since they still had a pulse I would not leave them there to die." He looked at Theoden and Farinele and moved over to them, picking their son up. "You're going to be bigger than me someday, Theo." He chuckled as Theoden tried to pull at his hair. "I'll show you, Farinele." He moved to the door and stepped out, walking down the hallway and down the stairs, to where the guest rooms were. He took a left from the staircase, walking past the diningroom, and then to a small study. He made a right, and started down a large corridor, with many rooms. Some of the doors were open and you could see the rooms down this corridor were just slightly smaller than the ones upstairs, but they still held the same eloquence and majesty as the ones of the royal family. He made it to the door second to last and opened it for her. "After you, Farinele." He looked down at Theoden, laughing as he sneezed, thinking it was cute.

She patted his arm and watched him with Theoden, smiling proudly, "Yeah Theoden, then you can help Mommy keep daddy in line." She grabbed a ribbon as she left the room and followed him down the hall. Looking around as she went. She didnt venture out and explore the castle anymore, but she did remember seeing these rooms before. She smiled as she noted that the guest rooms were spared no expense just like the ones the family upstairs had. It was good to see that they were not greedy, but she knew that already. She stopped when he did and pulled her hair back tying it with the ribbon. She stepped into the room but stopped when she was halfway to the bed. She recognized the person on the bed immediately, "That can't be.."

He chuckled, when Theoden grabbed for his nose and swatted his arm away. "Theo, dont do that, you can get diseases besides you wouldnt like whats in there." He entered after Farinele, and almost bumped into her when she stopped so suddenly. "What's wrong?" He eyed the person the bed then her. "What cant be?"

She turned slowly and looked at him, "Where did you find this woman?" She was shocked and glad and in disbelief all at once. Nailana has been dead for over a year now but here she was lying in a guest bed in her home. She turned back around and hurried to her side, looking her over, "Do you remember when I told you that Marcus and I found my friends body? And then I went to her funeral?"

"Forlorned pathway." He moved over to the woman and Farinele, noting the blood had stop spilling for the time being. "Aye, I remember. So this is the Nailana then?" He eyed the woman on the bed and shook his head. "Not the best situation to know that she still lives, but at least you can tend to her, and know you have your friend back." He felt Theoden fidget in his arms and turned to Farinele. "I will go to put Theoden to sleep, I will return shortly." And with that he disappeared from the room and right back up the stairs, to his sons room and placed him on the crib, humming a song for him, so he could fall asleep faster.

She nodded, "Yeah, tis her. But it jsut mystifys me." She shook her head and sighed noting the only wound she had was the cut on her neck. She looked up when he spoke and nodded, "Alright, it is past his nap time." She smiled breifly watching them disappear then turned back to Nailana removing the cloth that was wrapped around her neck. She gasped when she saw how the wound looked. It was deep and starting to fester already. She was lucky to have lived as long as she had. She moved into the bathroom and got a basin of warm water and a rag. She moved back beside the bed and quickly removed the blood and dirt from around the wound. Then she held her hand over the cut and closed her eyes murmuring a few words as a soft golden glow emited from her hand. When she had healed the wound completely she opened her eyes and looked down at her friend.

She didnt know how long she had been out and she didn't know if she was even still alive. She could feel something eminating through her body, a feeling of peace and strength. She slowly opened her eyes to see Farinele and smiled, "You know I have been wondering when I would be seeing you again Farinele. Glad you saved me from certain death yet again."

She smiled slightly when Nailana opened her eyes and spoke. She wasn't angry because she knew Nailana woudl never fake her death, she did wonder what had happend and who they had really found. ''You shouldnt thank me Nailana. My husband is the one who found you. He of course just thought you were some random creature, but he is not the one to leave a half alive creature on the road." She waved her hand and a pitcher of water and a glass appeared next to the bed, "Are you thirsty Nailana? Have a drink and tell me how you came about your injuries, the rest you can tell me later."

She cleared her throat momentarily then her eyes widened when she mentioned beign married, "You? Married? That si somethign I had not expected. How long have you been wed and who is he?" She looked at her questioningly while she struggled to sit up and get a glass of water to clear the dryness, and ignore the question she had asked.

As Theoden closed his eyes he bent down to kiss his forehead. He wrapped his little blanket around his little body and then headed back down. He remembered the day his son was born. He was the happiest creature he could be, although he was angered by Farinele's lack of thought in not calling for him. He made a turn down the hallway and came upon the room. The door was somewhat opened so he heard part of Farinele's conversation with Nailana, then just entered. It seemed Farinele had done her healing pretty quickly. He came beside his wife and put his hand on her shoulder, and gave a nod of greeting to Nailana. "Welcome back to conciousness, Mellon."
