She laughed, "Ah yes and who could resist a face like yours?" She shook her head, "I think it would have been harder for her. After you had died she would have pined for you. going through life with out the man she loved. I assume you loved each other. It is alwasy much harder on the woman then the man. We grow attached very easily. Well actualy they do, I have never grown attached to anyone."

"I suppose that's true, but it wouldnt have mattered seeing how it ended up in the end." He moved the glass around in his hand. "I suppose it would have been that way, maybe in someways it was best this way, because she didnt have to pine for me. I'd have hated that, even more because she might have ended up becomign a bloodsucker again." He eyed her. "Never? Not even to family?"

She eyed him sensing something else to him, "Yes maybe it was better. But do you not pine for her? You can not control fate really, but maybe she would have went on just as she was when you left her. holding onto the love you both had." She shrugged, "Yes to my family and to my Trainees, but that is all. And it took me very long to get used to caring for them."

He looked at her, not sure of how to answer. "That's a yes and no answer. I miss her because I never thought I'd be in love with anyone like I was with her. Even if we did fight constantly. But I also cant pine for her forever, I have responsibilities, and she'll always live on." He looked at her. "That's a first step, I'm sure the trainees appreciate it. The kids who dont have anyone usually tend too. But who knows you might end up falling for someone in due time."

She smiled, "Well it is good that you did not shut down after her death. Most people who are in love like you claim you two were just shut down and die. I've seen it over and over again. One of the reasons I do not readily try to find someone to love." She nodded, "I'm sure they do. As for falling. I doubt it. I'm not the type to fall in loe." She stood slowly and then leaned back cracking the bones in her back. "I think I'm going to rest now. Good night." She nodded to him then left the room.

He waved after her. "Never say never, I said the same thing, and then look at what happened." He crossed his arms and leaned back, smirking. "I got a wife and five kids." He chuckled, and started putting everything away, disappearing into the kitchen.
