She let go, as soon as they arrived to Hawthorn. She looked to him smiling sheepishly. "I did it! And only once did I need to make a quick stop. I'm great!" She laughed a bit and looked around. She managed to fade them right into the middle of the town. The town was much different than SRH. It had more humans, but also had a lot of bustling business from all sorts of creatures. She turned to Vandos, then took a look around. "I wonder if the house is still standing."

"Who knows?" He shrugged."Lot different than I remember it being here. Before it was, well, pretty empty. You couldn't walk into this town if you weren't somebody worth knowing. Weird how it changed so much." He laughed.

She nodded. "A lot of things changed here." She started walking and turned a corner, there were still some of the old shoppes, and she could even sense some of the old perverted men from her past. She cringed slightly, and looked, seeing a mahogany colored rooftop a few blocks from where she was standing and recognized it as what she knew it back then as "the torture house." She looked at a few of the people, then started walking towards it, wondering who was still left.

"To think it still exists. Pretty cool." He nodded and walked with her, eyeing some people he recognized from when they were younger and then stepped ahead of her, heading down the main path to the front door of the house."Think people are still here?"

"I dont know. It has been at least a hundred years. Maybe some Servants took it as their home when dad killed mom." She looked at the door. "Only one way to find out." She walked down the path and stood infront of the door and knocked a few times, using her strength to make sure anyone could hear it.

"We'll see alright." He nodded and just kept a hand on his dagger just in case anything happened that they didn't plan ahead for.He yawned."Looks like no one's here."

He sighed and walked down the stairs. Several of the servants gave him confused stares, unable to be saved from their brainwash in which Dera had used more magic than she should have, frying their ability of self-will."Never you mind. I got it." He threw the door open and frowned."What is it? She's not here, she's not coming back. Leave my home."

"I think you might be right." She turned to leave when she heard the door swing open, and a familiar voice. She turned around quickly, looking at the man confused. It was Horace. Even after all these years he still looked the same. "I'm not looking for her. I know she's not coming back, the bitch is dead, thank goodness." She stood straight.

"Tell me about it. Glad she's gone, actually. Horace!!" He laughed."Just as old as he looked the last time I saw him all those many years ago man." He laughed some more.

"Excuse me?" He eyed the two with a frown and searched his memory and shook his head, impossible. He had been told Maezyl along with Hannibal were dead."Maezyl?! I must have gone truly insane. You can not possibly the young girl I once looked after."

She turned to Vandos, laughing. "Yeah." She tohught his little excitement was sorta cute. She turned back to Horace and nodded. "Yeah. It's Maezyl. Why are you so surprised to see me?" She looked at him curiously. "I was that young girl, a very long time ago. As you can see, I grew up."

"Boy did she ever." He grinned and just stepped aside to allow them some time to speak to one another.

"She told me you died...I was saddened by it. Had I knew you were living...I'd have searched for you Maezyl. You always were a much better alternative to speaking to Dera. However, I wasn't too much saddened by your father's death. Surely, he must be gone. Or is he too, alive?"

She slapped Vandos arm, blushing a bit, and kept looking at Horace. "No, I never died, although she wanted to kill me when she kidnapped my brother and I and beat me daily." She said seriously, and shook her head. "No. My father's alive....At least I hope..." She was still unsure of where her father was, and could only hope for the best. "She's the one that died...she was killed and rightfully so. You still live here?"

"Yeah. This wasn't your mother's house. It was myself and my wife's, however, once she passed away I didn't care for what happened to the place." He shrugged."Too many memories here, yet I stay, to remind myself of my mistakes."
