"This is not an option!" He said angrily to a cloaked man. The man had a very deep voice and a strange aura seemed to surround him. "Millions will die at this rate! We must hurry to find the cure soon, Suljack. It's spreading. It's just been seen in Lyathen. It might be on the other side of the world but it's only a matter of time before it gets here." He turned to the hooded man who spoke a few words, and his eyes glazed over with anger and rage. "Then I will find it myself." He was met with laughter and Earnur couldnt help but laugh as well. "You will see." He gave Suljack a cold stare. "I understand now why the other Harper Scouts voted you out of the society. You've gone sinile in your age." He turned around. "This discussion is over, I've nothing else to say to you. Go now, you coward!" He heard a hiss come from the man, and soon a loud 'crack' noise and knew Suljack had disappeared. He tured around, with his hands in his waist and an unreadable expression on his face.

She was taking a much needed break from the Palace. It seemed like ages since she had been outside of the Elven gates. But today she was on the hunt. Not for an animal, but for a fight. For some odd reason she wanted to exchange blows with someone. Her intention was to find Nailana or Yarizel and have a friendly duel with one of htem. Just to get her pent up frustrations out. So in that frame of mind when she left she had changed into her rarely used warrior gear. Her clothes were long and flowing, a tunic and breeches. Made of a strong material that was light weight but resistant of most projectiles. Her sword was hung low on her waist, her bow and arrows over her shoulder, and her hair tied back. She looked very much the part of a war angel. Even though she had never been to battle. As she walked she heard the sound of raised voices. Voices that seemed to be filled with anger and threat. She readied herself and pulled out her bow and arrow readying to protect anyone in danger. She faded into the Ethereal realm and made her way towards the voices. As she came out of the forest and into the path of the people she faded back out of the Ethereal Realm. Only to meet the sight of her husband standing at the other end of her arrow.

He ran his hands over his face. Everything seemed to be going to naught lately. Not only were the dissentions amongst the society taking it's toll on him and everyone else, but news of the peoples of Lyathen contracting a horrible plague which ravished at the body in a matter of days had also come to him. This didnt bode well, how the warning of what seemed a simple disease that could be combated, turned into a full grown plague was beyond him. The stress was mounting on him, moreso now with the news of Suljack being dismissed of his duties, and now the duties of the Chief Harper fell on him. So he was now in command of hundreds of their members, with no clear thought process as to what to do. He made a fist and punched at a tree angrily. He whistled an unknown Elven tune and watched as a beautiful Eagle swooped towards him. In his elvish tongue he spoke to it and then sent it flying in a hurry. He was at a lost, time was passing quickly, and he needed to think of his next move. "I must travel to Lyathen."

She put her bow down, pulling the arrow out and putting it back in her quiver. She kept the bow in her hand and walked towards him. Her eyes widened when she saw him punch the tree. She had not seen him this angry since they had stood toe to toe. She watched him a few moments marvelign at the beautiful Eagle that came to him. Something was wrong. She could sense it. Something was putting alot of stress on him and she wished nothign more then to take it all away. She moved towards him coming upon him and speaking, her voice quiet and whimsical, "I'm sure whatever it is that is bothering you, the tree had nothing to do with it."

"Dont start, Farinele." He said very coldly to her. He had enough on his mind and he didnt need this ontop of everything." He put his hand on the trunk of the tree and just closed his eyes. How did everything go from good to bad in such a short while. He could feel the peoples suffering, even if they werent his own. He could hear the cries of parents and children as they had to do the unthinkable with the ones they loved. He clenched his hand into a fist, sighing. "Is Theoden sleeping in the Palace?"

She looked at him shocked by the coldness in his voice, "And whatever it is should not be taken out on me." She sighed and came around to look at him when he had finally halted. She studied him for a few moments, "Yes he is. I made sure he was comfortable and well taken care of before I left. Just like I always do." She frowned and placed her hand on his face, running her thumb over his cheek, 'What is it my love? What has gotten you so angry? And do not tell me nothing. Ever since you have returned you have been acting veyr strange."

"Something that will be taken care of soon enough." He kept his eyes shut. "For the time being you must be careful, Farinele. And that goes for everyone." He pulled away from her, he didnt want this, not right now, anyway. "You must be very cautious of where you go and the things that are around you." He leaned against the tree and opened his eyes. "I'm sure you heard when I said I must take a trip."

She frowned again and let her hand drop to her side, "When am I not cautious in the town?" She folded her arms, "Why wont you tell me whats going on Earnur? IS it that bad that you can't even trust me with the knowledge?" She looked at him and suddenly she felt alone, she hugged her arms closer to her and then leaned agaisnt a tree not to far from him, "Yes I did. How long will you be away this time?"

"It's not about trust. I trust you, and you know this. But this is about duty. And although my duty is here with my family. Events have changed many things in my life, and now my duty is to the people of the world." He didnt say a word, he wasnt too sure on how long he'd be away. "I...cannot answer that for I do not know. I can only hope that I will return quickly enough to both Theodon and you."

She sighed, "I can not help but be envious of all these people who seem to get more tiem with you then I as of late. But it is your duty. I wish you would confide in me some of what it is you are doing." She placed the end of her bow on the ground and let it rest against her leg as she looked out, "Theoden will miss you."

"I will miss him as well, as well as you." He looked at her. "You will know, but not today. It is how it has been decreed." He sighed. "Things...will change...Farinele. You must be strong. The next few months, maybe even years will be hard ones but we all must fight to survive." He looked at a leaf he'd just grabbed from a tree.

'I will miss you too Earnur but you have to do what you have to do. It is your duty and I know the importance of duty." She looked at him for a second and nodded, "Things are always changing Earnur. And i sensed the changes to come long ago. Or have you forgotten me speaking of my visions. I know what is to come, death and destruction. The people who are in thsi village are in for a turmulous time."

"I must have forgotten. Especially with all the stress I've felt as of late." He tried to stay still but he just couldnt." He looked over to Farinele, frowning. "I know this is sudden....but I think it best to leave at this very moment. So much time has already passed and I'd like to resolve this as soon as possible."

She turned and looked at him suddenly frowning, "So soon? I mean I knew you would be leaving but I wasn't expecting now." She looked back at the trees and sighed, "Very well Earnur, I will tell Theoden that you have gone to save the world again. But please do becareful. I still can not shake the feeling that we still have a short time together." For a moment a shadow passed over her face and tears formed in her eyes, but she would not let him see how much she worried for him.

He nodded slowly and walked over to her, kissing her passionately. "I will try to hurry back. I love you, Farinele. Please tell Theoden I love him as well." He smiled sadly and then pulled away. "Caution, my beloved." And then he walked away from her and the forest, wondering if the feeling of his own demise was just the stress or truly a foreshadowing of his end.
