"Why do you see it fit, to tell me lies, sister?" She gave a sigh, and decided to not deter Nailana from her thoughts. "Does it matter to you where my child is?" She took a drink from the bottle of scotch while shaking her head. "Why would it not be possible?"

She shook her head, "I do not lie sister. As much as i had wished for it to be a lie, it is not." She looked at her thoughtfully, "I would like to meet my nephew or neice. And I jsut wouldnt think it possible. It has never been heard of."

"Because it has never been heard of, it does not mean it is not possible. But given how the Vampiric Race has always despised the Lycans, there was never a chance of such a union to occur." She cracked her knuckles. "You've seen her already, Nailana."

She looked at her, "The lycan in the woods? But she called you her step mother. Does she not know?" She sat straight in her seat and looked at her sister expectantly.

"No, she doesnt. Many events led me away from both Cartras and Copernia. Cartras raised her, though I dont understand why he allowed her to think he was her stepfather. We feared that father and the Ancients would harm her, given the war that broke out between the Lycans and the Vampires. He took her, knowing none would ever harm her because she was in Lycan territory. It's odd, no trace of her vampiric heritage is seen. She adapted completely to her Lycanthrope ancestry, and none would ever guess her mother is a Vampiress.."

"It must be because of her surroundings. She adapted because no trace of Vampirism can be found in Lycanthrope territory. And perhaps he never told her for fear she would venture out in search of you. He must have known that in due time you would return. But we mustn't let Salaz know. For he may try and kidnap her and use her to his advantage. I dont think we should even tell Draven. He may take to the news wrongly." She smiled at her sister, "I do think we are capable of getting along Toni."

She laughed. "Yes, well I wasnt planning to let anyone know. Father was much too crafty. There's no way I'd let Salaz near her, she has no part in this little family civil war. She's no idea of her Vampiric heritage, and I rather leave as such. I can live happily with her believing I am nothing more than a stepmother."

She sighed, "Thats a good Idea. But How long can you actualy hold off on that? Because now that you have seen her, you may jsut want her to know. But if its any consilation sister, I will not let anything happen to her either. For she is family."

"There is no need. She has enough protection from her father and the other Lycans." She gave a sigh. "At least he Lycans have slowly accepted me, and accepted her. But even so..." she paused in thought, "...I cant help but think there is much more to come not only for us, but for all creatures. There's something sinister afoot, and before long, It'll be revealed."

She nodded, "I have sensed it as well. I worry for the humans and the other creatures who arent capable of defending themselves. But I do not worry for the Lycans. They are strong creatures, and as for your daughter. She is probably the strongest of both lines."

"I've no doubt in that. Copernia has grown to become stronger than I had fathomed..." She cracked her neck, "I believe it's time for my departure, it is late, and I must return to the Inn." She rolled her eyes, "I do hope those Ancients have something interesting to tell me." She stood, picked up the bottle and finished it's contents. "Until another time.." She headed for the door.

She watched her sister leave and smiled, "In do time sister, your daughter will become the queen of both worlds." She stood slowly and tossed her money onto the table and headed back to her Inn to try and find Hannibal and tell him what she had learned.
