He laughed as a few kids ran away laughing and giggling. He had shown them some of his magic which consisted of making a tree up and walk with it's roots to another spot entirely. Boringly a long time ago, since he had taken a leave for discovery from Rilon and Circe, he had made friends with a wizard and learned certain things and even had hold of a wand given to him which allowed him to show the kids the magical walking tree. Feeling pretty good with himself, he eyed the Hot Springs hungrily, stripped off his gear, shirt and pants, and left himself in some smooth, nymph-hair woven shorts. Slipping slowly into one of the springs, he closed his eyes, feeling the hot water relax his muscles and enter some wounds that needed the heat, covering most of his back and chest, some on his arms. He had started off the journey from Rilon and Circe clean-skinned, and knew Circe would worry when she saw him this way, and wondered when she would actually sense him. She was his mom, but wasn't, but really was his mother to him by all means.

The day had been a long one. She spent most of it in and about Damnation Sactum just listening to various gossip the Demons were conversing about. They spoke of Vampiric Lords, who had rising, and odd premonitions of incoming doom, and all she could do was smile with amusement, thinking they were too gullible for their own good. After such a long day, she needed rest, and as she walked towards the lake to rest in the newly furnished Grotto, she could sense the familiar aura of her son. She smiled the same instant and followed it to where ever it was leading too, excited about seeing Regulus. She finally stopped at the opening of the Hot Springs, having felt his enegy even stronger, and made her way insideas a few children ran past giggling and laughing. She smiled briefly, and continued walking until she finally found her 'prize,' and hurried to him, smiling widely. "Regulus!" She didnt even bother removing her clothes as she hurried into the water and towards him. It had been far too long for her liking and all she wanted to do was embrace her son.

"Mom!" He smiled and got up from his place he was sitting at and waded across the water, meeting her halfway and stood there, smiling. It felt like he hadn't seen her in ages, but her mere presence made him that much happier.

She hurried through the water and finally managed to make it to him, thanks to him walking halfway, and quicky proceeded to swoop him in her arms, almost mimicking what she used to do when he was about 9, except this time she couldnt actually pick him up. She kissed his forehead, and pulled a way to get a look at him, and noticed some of the cuts on his body, she frowned momentarily, but could only attribute it to being his fathers son. "You're hurt." She said simply, giving him a somewhat knowing look, that was replaced by a grand smile. "I've missed you so much, Reggy."

He shook his head and laughed. "Come on mom, you know how I am with the name." He smiled and looked her up and down. "Haven't changed a bit. Still same, young looking mom." He grinned and moved back to where he had been sitting down.

She chuckled. "I know, but I'm your mother and it's my special name for you. But fine." She brought her hands up. "You win, I'll just call you Egu." She smirked and moved over to where he was and sat next to him. "Of course, we both know I'm to look beautiful for all eternity, but nevermind me, look at you. You've grown handsomer since the last I saw you. We've heard news here and there about what you've been up to, but since you're here, come and tell your mother what you've been up to."

"What have you heard?" He was curious to know what had been said of him and by who. He had been to a fair amount of places and met an array of different creatures, and he wondered what his mother and father knew.

"Not much, most dealt with you having some type of scuffle with a Barrin, and that it didnt end too good for either of you. Of course I was angry and I wanted to go teach whichever oaf a lesson, but your father ended up calming me enough, not to cause any damage to the nearby houses." She turned to him. "Is that piece of rumour true? Because if it is, then you just give me the word and I'll go teach them a lesson. I could care less about their reputation. NO ONES going to touch my son and get away with it." She bared her teeth for an instance.

"Don't worry. Yes, I did have a run in with a Barrin. Yes, we did come to a bit of a fight, and yes, he did manage to give me a scar worth mentioning." He pointed to one that started at the back of his ear and ran down his neck. "I gave him plenty back. Don't worry about it."

She looked at the scar angrily. "It's good to know that you can take care of yourself, but I swear if I see one of them, I'll kill them." She changed her expression, thinking it was stupid to get angry over something that had happened and he had taken care of. "Now that that's been discussed. Tell me of one of your adventures? I also heard a brief rumour that you came in contact with a small clan of dragons."

"Yes, and you'd be surprised how much easier it is for a demon to communicate with a dragon than another creature. The poor vampire, he never stood a chance. I've got a burn mark from that too, on my leg, you'll probably see it later." He laughed. "I've done a lot really. I ran into a wizard. He taught me some of the things he knew, and even gave me a wand of his."

"I'm not surprised. Our kind holds a lot of little secrets of the like, that no other creatures really know of." She shook her head, smiling slightly. "Well I can imagine the scars that cover that your body that I've not seen. You'll be able to tell a little one, one day a story of each and every scar. A magic wand? Interesting, it's rare to see such a thing with our kinds." She turned to him, smiling. "My son a Demonic Mage, I'm so proud." She guffawed.

He laughed and splashed her with some water. "I am no mage by any means, so do not get used to the term being used about me." He shrugged. "I do not remember everything he taught me, but I do remember the tree spell he taught me, which I used for the entertainment of some of those children back there."

"Oh, I'll use whichever term I want, Regulus." She smirked. "You are speaking to the Demoness who nicknamed you, Regulus "Mr.Poopy Butt" Taninide." She couldnt help but laugh, reminiscing of those times. "You made them very happy, I could hear them whisper about you, saying they hoped you showed up again. Speaking of that, how long do you plan on staying?"

"Do you have an extra room?" He smiled and shrugged. "However long you may wish I think. I need to settle down for awhile I think. I've been on the move for a lone time, you know that."
