The rock slid across the water for a few seconds before it disappeared underneath the surface. She laid back, and just look at the sky. The days just seemed drearier for her, especially after what occured a few days ago. She felt more and more anger and animosity towards her family, because they just didnt understand. But it wasnt all of them, mostly her father, who barely spoke to her, and of course the jealous ramblings of the now unbereable Alder. On more than one occasion on the following days, she found herself trying to control her growing temper, to fly off a handle and kill him. Everything with Rionos, seemed to be getting a little better, and she and Maezyl even started speaking again, which she greatly appreciated. Although she knew she could go to her mother she avoided the Mansion at all costs. She placed her hands over her stomach and hummed a tune she had learnt during her adventure with Rionos.

He had not been much help to the people of the Palace lately. His moodiness had subsided but it still did not end his distance from most. Loosing his children had been hard for him and it would continue to be hard for him. He wanted to chance to prove he could be a father. But yet again it was ripped from him. But there was a glimmer of hope now that Ireth was pregnant again. It scared him a bit, but he would never show. It was one reason why he was out on this day. The growing bulge of her stomach had him thinking about marriage again. He could not let his child be born out of wedlock. He walked along the bank and heard the humming of an all to familiar voice. He smiled slightly and made his way towards his grand daughter. But he frowned when he felt her mood. She was not in the best of moods. "And why is such a dreary cloud hanging over you my dear Niesaa?"

She didnt respond when her grandfather's voice came to her ear. Yet another family member who seemed to cause anger and animosity in her. As much as he'd said he'd be there for them, he wasnt. It was just more and more lies, which she didnt want to deal with anymore. Her adventures and the years older she'd become had left her jaded to a lot of things. She remained silent, opting to finish her song before she even answered him. When she hummed the last tune, she sat up and turned looking to him. "The people I have to call family, not that it matters." She shrugged.

He eyed her, it had been a few weeks since he last saw her. He had ment to come and see her more, but when he had come she was never home. Neither of his grandchildren seemed to be around anymore. It saddened him and he knew he had let them down yet again. He sighed, "I am sorry Niessa that you havent seen me. It doesnt mean I have not been to see you. When I am there you are gone with Rionos. And the visits have been more frequent then need be. But truth is I need the solstice of my grandchildren to reasure me of some things." HE sighed again and then raised a brow, "What is wrong with your family?"

She nodded. "Yes yes, the same 'ol speech like always. Seriously, just save it, I dont want to hear it." She turned around again, and just looked out to the water. It was still, except for when a few deers were drinking from it. "You dont need us to reassure you of anything. You dont need anyone to reassure you of anything, but yourself." She shrugged. "Trouble, what do you think?" She looked at him from the corner of her eye.

"Niessa you msut know that I want to be there with you when I can. I never intened to let you down. I see that your trust in me has faltered greatly because of my ways. ut you haev to understand that this family thing is a new thing for me. Not to mention at times it scares me." He watched her a few seconds and then looekd out over the water, "Trouble? Everyone is ok right? Your mother and father have gotten better? Or are they still bed ridden?" His thoughts were with his first family all the time. But he could not devote as much time to them as he would have liked. It left him not knowing when things were wrong and he did not like that feeling.

She just nodded when he spoke, she was way too tired to argue or even revoke anything of what he said so she was just going to give him the benefit of the doubt. She soon shrugged. "They're fine, mom's up and getting huge. You probably dont know but she's pregnant again. And well Dad..." She frowned and threw another rock."Yeah, that's about it." She gave a firm nod, looking at a wet leaf on the ground.

He ran his fingers through his hair and sighed, "Some father I am. Not only haev I been a terrible grandfather but a father as well. I never expected them to refer to me as anything other then Arioch. But I still am their father. It is a good thing she has something to look forward to. As well as the children she already has." He looked at her puzzled, "What is wrong with Cerberus?" He did not forget what happened with Cerberus. He had gone into a rage and killed many people. Almost killing Yarizel as well. But he had forgiven him because he was the father of his grandchildren. "And what of you Niessa? How have you faired?"

She shrugged. "He's not talking to me." She sighed cracking her knuckles. "He's angry at me because..." She looked at him, thinking she might as well just get it out. "He's angry because I got married. He freaked out and tried hurting Rionos." She sighed. "Yeah, mom's fine it seems. Not used to seeing her all big like that. She looks like a house, yet she still manages to still look very beautiful and graceful." She threw another rock. "So how's your end of the family? I only get tidbits when I go talk to Aunt Farinele, since I'm mostly with her and Theoden, and when I'm swooning over 'purdy man' Earnur,' yeah I dont listen much." She smiled to herself and shook her head.

His eyes widened and the leaf he was holding was crushed instantly, "Married? Rionos?" So many thoughts ran through his head, most of them containing Rionos being jabbed with a sword. But he had no right. Niessa was old enough to take care of herself and if she loved Rionos then so be it. HE could not expect her to tell him this when he had barely been around. "I am disappointed that I am finidng out about this so late. But it is my own fault. I hope You are happy." He was still in shock and a bit angry but he would not let it show, "Pregnancy makes even teh ugliest woman look beautiful. It's the fact that she is carryign a new life that was most of the time created out of love." He picked up another leaf and shrugged, "All are well. The Triplets are starting to crawl. And Ireth is still showing no signs of fatigue from getting up with them. Of course I help but she does the most work. You aunt on the other hand has not been herself lately. Earnur has left again and I can tell it is taking it's toll on her. He has missed Theoden's birthday already and their 3 year Anniversary is coming up soon. She does not admit it but she feels something is very wrong. As do I. Something very catostrophic is coming. And I fear when it hits many will die." He feared his time was growing short. He had been on earth for many years, both as Angel and Fallen. But whatever was to come was to big for him to even control.

"Yeah, we're married. At the time I thought it was one of the smartest thing I've done, but after seieng daddies reaction I thought otherwise. I dont regret it though I love him and he loves me." She nodded. "I'm glad, I saw them, but when you werent around. They're pretty cute. I like Lauren, she looks like a firecracker. Cant believe that little pipsqueak is really my aunt." She laughed a bit and frowned. "I know, she seems to out of it lately, I'm amazed she can keep up a happy front in front of Theoden." She turned to him, so even Fallens were feeling this, and she nodded, not saying anything on what he was feeling about what was to come ahead.

"Listen to me Niessa.." He turned and looked at her, "Never doubt any of your actions. It is not your father who has to live with Rionos. Love and Marriage are two of the better things in life. You did what your heart was telling you too. And that is the most important thing." He smiled sadly, "Lauren is something of a rebel. Already she tries her boundries. I am glad you haev seen them." He looked away again sadly worrying mroe for all of his family now, "It is not an act she puts on in front of Theoden. She is truly happy when she is with him. It is when she is away from him thather true feelings show. She spoke to me once that she feared her and Earnur's time together would soon be ending. But she spoke nothing more of it. She should speak to your mother but she refuses to leave the palace right now."

She looked at him, appreciative for his words of wisdom. "Thanks grandpa." She smiled at him. "Yeah, I can see that, she was pulling on some handmaidens hair the last I checked. She's going to be mean, probably like mom. I wouldnt put it past her, she is the first born just like mom was." She frowned. "I agree, she should, now more than ever because they need each other. I was told mom doesnt visit as often because of her pregnancy, but Aunt Farinele's practically bordering on a deep depression. If she keeps this up..." She frowned. "I wish I could help her, I hate seeing her like this." She bit her lower lip, she knew why Earnur was leaving so constantly. She'd come across him on her very first visit to the Harper headquarters. They spoke for most of her stay there. But she realize just how awesome her uncle was. And then she was made to promise not to tell Farinele or anyone else about what he was or what he was doing. Especially now that he was the undisputed big cheese in the entire organization.

''Anytime Niessa." He smiled slightly, "Yes she has gone threw more Handmaidens then any of the others. The only one who tolerates it is Ithilwhen, she loves those kids more then I do I think sometimes." He thought for many moments and then sighed, "We should try and get them to meet. At least once. Maybe get your mother to speak to Farinele about staying with her for a few days. Farinele falls deeper and deeper every day. She is not used to being away from Earnur for to long. I know she does not think he is with another, but she does wish to know what is taking him away from her and Theoden so much." He looked at her puzzled, 'Go on? What will happen if she keeps it up?" He constantly thought about ways to cheer Farinele up, to brign ehr from the depression she was bordering on. He sat in silence for a long time then something came to him, "You know many milenia's ago I came across this group who did good things to counteract teh bad. I would not be surprised if Earnur is one of those. I followed the organization much. And their work kept them away from their families as well. And they could never speak of it to any other."

"It could lead to suicide, I would have thought you would know this better than anyone. You were the angel of death, I'm assuming when you took peoples lives you could also feel their emotions." She sighed a little. But when she heard him speak about this group she had to fight not to let her eyes widen. He'd hit it on the mark. He looked at him as normally as possible and shrugged. "Possibly, maybe you should confront Earnur on it to see if you're right or wrong." She gave a nod. "You cant know anything unless you ask, right?" She scratched her hair. "Hey, what's up with that doppleganger of Ithilwen? Did she come from some strange place too? I was meaning to ask, but yeah, I only came across her once, and that was it, then I swore I saw you but with glasses. I thought I was losing it."
