The ball of dark energy flew from her hand, and an unmistakable 'thud' came around the area. She walked slowly, her boots clanking against the rubble of the rocks on the ground. She pulled out her bow and attached an arrow to the middle of it as she walked to a body on the ground. She put her foot against their throat, the bow outstretched before hand and the arrow ready to take flight. She eyed them calmly and made no sudden movements. The person fidgeted under her foot, but she exhuded more force against their throat. "Stay still or I'll let the arrow pierce your head." The person stopped, and she eyed them. "I'll ask one more time. Where can I find Genael?" The person eyed her, with some horror in their eyes, and shook their head. She could hear their voice faintly against her ears, they spoke very low and she knew it was out of fear. She bent down t listen better and only heard one word. "Brynmaer" and as the words were internalized, she sensed a strong energy rush from them. She kept still and watched with no emotion, as the demon killed himself, the entire time her foot remained in place.

He had been walking for months now. He did not want to use his powers, he wanted to train, to become stronger All the while, the journey had pulled him to this place. His bare chest glinted in the sun where sweat dripped along his arms and stomach. Slung on his back was a medium-sized sack and a bow the size of his forearm. Along his right shoulder was an intricate tattoo and he had watched the entire scene unfold and shook his head as the one creature killed themself and then, his body very nimble and limber, swung about some larger rocks and trees blocking his way and he crunched his way on the ground with his boots to allow her to sense him there before she had to search his aura, not that she would be able to tell what he was, because in all honesty, he knew he could make himself whatever he pleased to the outside stranger."Did you get what you needed from him?"

She removed her boot from the now ashes of the former demon. She pulled her bow away and tucked it behind her, placing the arrow in the pouch behind her. She looked down, and picked up a paper on the ground. The sides were singed, but that was all. Maybe it was protected so it would not ruin so easily. She pocketed it, hearing the thud of boots nearby, and the voice of a man. She tilted her head slightly eyeing the newcomer. She stared at his physique, watching as sweat glistened from it, and admired it silently. "Yes, another clue is better than ignorance." She turned fully, her ponytail hitting the side of her neck as she did so.

He observed her, her appearance and her weapons."Yes, a clue is better than nothing. Good luck in what you are pursuing." He nodded and pulled out what was left of his shirt and wiped his face and chest of the sweat, moving across to a spot of shade, walking to the remains of the demon and then let his bag fall to the floor. Pulling a vial from it, he took some of the ash into it and then capped it, slipping it back into the back. "It comes in handy for a very quick fire."

"Thank you, likewise with your travels." She pulled out a locket-looking contraption, which hung on a long white gold chain and looked at it. She looked up, for an instant, position the locket. She took a few minutes doing this, and watched the newcomer from the corner of her eye. "Interesting, I've never tried that." She kept playing with the contraption until she got to the position she wanted. The light shone on the metal and as it hit it, the entire place became enguled in light, but everything else around it, became dark. She moved it, her eyes changing into a deep icy blue color, different from her natural blue eyes. She looked around, her body taking on an unearthly glow. She walked towards where the newcomer was, and a few inches from him, she saw it.

"Interesting trick." He nodded and just stood where he is, knowing that whatever it was she was doing would hold no harm for him directly, but he followed her eyes and just stared for awhile."What is it? A rock? Some dirt?"

She bent forward, and picked up a very tiny, blueish stone. She placed it within the contraption then closed it and everything went back to normal instantly. She placed it next to her hip and looked at him. "No, it's an 'essence' of who I'm looking for. All his cronies carry within them a something of his."

"And who is this you speak of. I would like to be aware of who to be aware of before I enter this town. It would be to my advantage, and I promise you, I am no cronie of his, whoever he is." He nodded, very much a creature of solitude.

"His name is Geneal. Not sure if he stays within this town, but it might be a possibility. Would be the most intelligent thing to do." She looked over to him. "Oh, I never made such a judgement. You're not in the image of his usual cronies." She leaned against the tree. "Although many are among this town."

"Then I shall keep an eye and ear out for this Geneal, and if I do encounter him, shall I tell him you are seeking him? Or is it to be our little secret?" He smiled playfully and moved several feet in the direction of the town, his back to her, and now, his scars became more visible.

"Think of it as our little secret. I'm sure he's already alerted to me, but I doubt he expected me to take down so many of his cronies." She eyed the scars, wondering what tale was behind his. "Do you have a name?"

"Of course I have a name. Would be horrible to not have one, though I didn't like my first one, it was really forced upon me, so I chose my very own." He smiled proudly when he said this."And I assume you have a name as well, and isn't that just nice?" He stuck his tongue out at her.

She chuckled, he was a smartass. Of course she'd dealt with plenty of smartasses but the playfulness in this one, was somewhat endearing. "Actually they just call me "Bitch," I cant figure out why." She smirked. "Yes, of course I have a name. Nice answer by the way." She shook her head.

"I wouldn't like to call you by such a demeaning name. Though, I haven't had your boot to my throat yet, though, it would never happen, even if you despised me." he laughed."I do not what to call you though. Stranger, that of course, is what you are."

"And why would it never happened?" She watched him from the shade under the tree. "Stranger is an accurate portrayal of what I am, aye. But if you wish to call me by a name, I'm Carence. Other than that, you can call me what you like, nothing truly phases me much anymore."
