She looked at the shell, and the jewel embedded in it. It was still amazing how some of the creatures down here could procure the strangest and most beautiful jewelry from their own body. She looked behind her, and sat on the base of a broken column, looking at the debris that was still left behind, even after everything occured more than hundreds of years ago. She sighed a little, and jumped down from her seat. "Cant believe it took me this long to come to this place. Oh well, better late than never." She gave a nod as she talked to herself.

He yawned and just watched her silently from the spot where he was sitting down. He was reading a book she had given him about certain stories of their kind and flipped through the pages, scratching his chin thoughtfully.

She walked back over to him and sat down, pulling her legs under her and sitting down Indian Style. "The books not boring you too much, is it?" She smiled sweetly for a minute and then put a blueish stone in front of him. "It's supposed to make weapons a little stronger when you add them to their build. Thought you might like it."

"Thank you." He smiled and just put the stone in his pocket."The book is interesting, this part is just about songs though, so you have to know that it's a little boring." he nodded and just put the book down and put an arm around her.

"Ewww, I hate those songs." She smiled and kissed his cheek. "The last 4 chapters are the longest and they speak about wars and the 'heroes' of our kind." She looked up. "You know, there's a legend that says that somewhere in the ruins of this city, there's supposed to be a treasure bigger than anything ever found."

"Well maybe we'll find it one day." He smiled and just looked around, seeming uncomfortable and just kissed her softly on the lips."Nelaysa, I wish to speak to you about something." He nodded, running a hand through his hair.

"Yeah, it would be great, we could become great adventurers." She turned to look at him and grabbed his hand, playing with some of his fingers. "Alright, nothing's wrong right? I mean, you're not moving away or anything?"

"Oh no, nothing like that Nelaysa. It's nothing so dreadful like that. Besides, moving, I'd ask you if you'd go with me or not. I couldn't just leave you like that, we see one another." He laughed and just stood up with her. Then he dug into his pocket and pulled out a blue diamond ring. It was fused with several rubies on a golden ring. He'd made it himself after looking for the stones on his own time and then he got down on one knee as his father had instructed him and then held the ring out to her."Nelaysa, will you marry me?"

She smiled. "Really? Because you wouldnt have to ask me twice, I'd go with you. I'd go anywhere with you. You're like my other half." She touched his face briefly, watching his actions. He'd never done them before, so she didnt know what to expect. She watched with anxiousness, and then heard the words that almost made her heart stop. She looked at him with her eyes wide-eyed. The ring was so beautiful, the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen. "I...wow....it's so beautiful...." She smiled brightly. "Yes, Dalon!"

He grinned and just let out a sigh of relief and stood up, putting the ring on her and then pulled her into a tight embrace, Kissing her, he just rubbed her back and kept smiling."I made it myself. Felt it was more personal that way."

She looked at the ring, kissing him passionately. "Its beautiful. I love it, even more so now that I know you made it!" The smile was still plastered on her face. "How long have you been planning this, you sly dog?"

"A few weeks now. I asked my father what to do." He smiled shyly and just kissed her all over, on the cheeks, the nose, the lips, her neck and then nibbled on her ear lobe."I love you Nelaysa." He nodded.

She started giggling, moving her head around, until he finally caught her lips, and then wrapped her arms around his neck. "I love you too, Dalon." She kissed him on the lips. "Between us, I never thought this would happen. I dont mean just with you, I mean with anyone."

"But you're beautiful. Somewhere deep down you knew it would happen eventually." He smiled and just kissed her some more, hugging her hips."What do you say to some alone time far away from here? There's a spot, a small village that's hidden behind several falls and moutains."

She blushed. "But what makes me beautiful is the fact that I smile everytime you're near me. So you have something to do with that." She kissed him and nodded. "I'd love that. There's so much I wanna do, so much I want to show you." She touched his cheek softly.
