She knelt down beside what was left of the Tavern. She felt a few tears fall down her cheeks as she thought of the many Trainees she had lost to this fire. She shouldn't have sent them to the Tavern but she had thought it would have been a good lesson for them. She stood and tried rubbing the soot from her hands as she stared out over the ruins of the tavern.

He had just left Odin with Tyr and decided to just walk around. The night was chilly, so he had his hands in his pocket, carrying his bow and arrow set with him, as always. he came upon the tavern, shaking his head. He wondered who had started the fire, though part of him believed it could have been that ungrateful bitch, he sighed slightly and turned to leave when he saw her standing by it, and he walked over to her. "It's a shame what happened. Stupid assholes.."

she had sensed him from a distance but refused to turn to him. She would never be the one to persue a man. She nodded, not really wanting to speak. She was afraid her voice would crack. Finally she spoke her voice cracking very slightly, "It is, when i find out who did this then I will have words..." She sighed as she saw something glittering in the ashes, "I lost a few trainees." She moved towards it and picked it out...she groaned inwardly. It belonged to the girl who had tried to pick pocket Hannibal.

He frowned slightly and eyed what she was looking at, then turned to her. "It could have been a number of people. But they'll pay. I'm sorry Lee." He heard the crack in her voice, it was weird to hear something like that from her, but it showed that she still did have emotions, just like everyone else. "Best thing you can do, is try to move on and help the other trainees. They still need you."

She waved her hand, "Not your fault Hannibal. It isn't like you started the fire." She slowly cleaned the soot off of the necklace and then put it on. She sighed and let the necklace run through her fingers and then bit her lip, "I don't have any more trainees. They all went their seperate ways. And the ones I did have..." She motioned to the ruins and sighed sadly.

He sighed a bit. "Then it's a good chance for you to go out, see the world. Try and rediscover yourself. I know it hurts, but at some point you have to try and go on with your life. Who knows you might meet new trainees. Might meet a demon and fall in love with them. Countless things, might happen. Best thing is to just keep busy, and help yourself move on from the grief."

She eyed him and shook her head laughing, "Greif?? Really Hannibal I thought you figured out by now that I don't care." She knew he knew different but she wasn't about to admit she was upset. She rolled her eyes and moved away from the ashes and started walking, "And I doubt I'll fall for a Demon. Maybe another creature..." She eyed him as she walked past him and then shrugged, "Maybe I should go and be with my family."

"Yeah, grief. You can tell that bullshit story to someone who'll believe you, but not to me. I know better than that." He started walking after her. "Well, it doesnt matter what creature as long as you do." He nodded firmly. "Eh, if you want to put yourself through that, then I say go with your family. But it's sometimes better to take time to be on your own and think."

She smiled breifly, "It's nice to know you still don't believe me." She shrugged, "I have been away from my family for many years. My brothers have been bugging me to come back for some time. Now I have no excuse." She thought for a few moments then looked at him, showing the first signs of emotion ever as she ran her fingers across the necklace, "Besides...I'm afraid to be alone."

He looked at the necklace briefly. "You of all people? Pretty hard to swallow. But you dont have to be. You'll meet people." He shrugged. "Maybe even meet a few kids that you'll adopt. It's happened to me a ton." He laughed. "Even 'adopted' my daughter's husband, and he's a demon that's probably a good 500 or so years older than me. But, if you're really scared of being alone, I'll tag alone. Not like I have much to do around here, besides in a few days I'll be 'born' and I cant hang around that place no more."

She rolled her eyes, "Yes me of all people. Why do you think I have surrounded myself with orphans all these years." She smiled a bit, "No I wont adopt any kids. I'm done with the orphans. No more kids..way to much trouble." She laughed, "Well I think your older then him now." She shrugged, "You wouldnt want to hang around a theif. Its a nice offer though."

"You say that now, but just you wait. Or maybe it's just me, I cant say no to a kid in need." He shrugged then smirked. "Oh yeah, because I'm as old as dirt now, I'm what nearing 3,000." He laughed. "Never thought I'd live THAT long, go figure, and I even get see my younger self and get to see my awesomest and how I became the Kingiest thing on planet." He kept laughing then it faded slowly. "The offers on the table, if worse comes to worse I'll probably be staying in town more if you want to seek me out. Should be here with Ripper and my grandson."

She shook her head, "They are way more trouble then they are worth. Of course you know I love kids..but at a distance...I have spent 5000 years on Orphans." She laughed slightly, "Yeah you get to see yourself grow up...how sweet... You know you could probably protect your wife's future now... Or take something back with you from her past." She looked at him and shrugged, "I don;t think I'll be staying in this town. I can't..to many memories...I need some place new...." She eyed him a moment and smiled slightly, "There will be one thing I miss about this town though."

"You take the cake. YOU'RE as old as dirt. I'm just as old as dust." He chuckled and then shook his head. "As much as I'd like to save her, I dont know where it happened, and I know better than to mess with time. I've messed with it enough, and I wouldnt dare touch it, unless I already knew the consequences. That's one thing I know about time travel. As for the thin from the past." He merely shrugged his shoulders.. "Well, what will you miss, eh?"

She shrugged, "If it happened anywhere it would happen at the Lee Castle. But What I know right now is that she isn't there yet. She is on her way though. I think her father had her sent off to another one of his castles. Or maybe she has been with that Alvandrian. Who knows for sure though. I know she holds something dear to her and only those people close to her can even think of getting near it." She eyed him a moment then smiled, "Just a certain person I have met."
