She walked down the road that led to the Ocean. She would spend a good bit of her day there, just looking out and watching as the tides came to the shore, and the birds flew overhead. This had been the hardest three months of her life. Not only because of Arioch, but of what she left behind. She missed both Iaraya and Neca immensely, and no matter what was said, she could still feel Neca's look of disappointment and betrayal from her eyes. That was was saddened her even more, probably in the same league as losing her love. Her stomach was much bigger now. She could feel the life within her and it filled her with some joy, but also with much sadness. Since her arrival she had spent as much time as she could with Halmar. She had missed him, and he accepted her. She told him the truth, and was glad to have her first love as well as soulmate by her side again. It was a strange transition, but he had become like a best friend to her, just as they were so many eons ago. She turned, hearing a child running by the sand and she smiled. He held a bird by his arms and started petting it, then let it fly from his arms. She stood right by the sand, and then turned again. She wasnt in the mood for this on this day. She rubbed her stomach and headed to a small restaurant and sat down. The waitress came right to her and she just told her she did not wish for anything. She bowed then went off. She also found that many would bow to her, since in someways she was still their queen, and it somewhat bothered her. She felt equal to them all now, but no matter how many times she would tell them to stop they would not listen so she just dealt with it. She turned, seeing a few, she smiled to them, and stood again. She turned and started towards the nearby forest, wishing for some solitude. She was jittery and she had no idea why.

It had been a strange journey for him. He felt so awkward. He felt Laita's energies moving through him still. They were foreign to his body but they helped him pass as an elf. He walked down the many streets of the Valinor, searching for Ireth. He had even went to the extremes of asking about her. Few had answered him, others jsut turned the other way. He found himself on the edge of the forest, how he had managed to get there so quickly was beyond him. But instinct was leading him and he would not deny instinct. He moved into the forest and just walked for a very long time. Soon he just stopped and looked around. He had no idea where to find her or if he ever would. He sighed and slowly sank to the ground and closed his eyes, resting for a few moments agaisnt the tree.

She walked for a few hours. This was very soothing for her. But now she found herself very tired. She wished for nothing more than to rest, but not out here. She walked pass a few shrubs, looking infront of her. She could sense another elf around, but would not bother. She could see them from the corner of her eyes resting beside a tree, and she walked right by them, moving towards the town once again.

He heard someone approaching but paid whoever it was. He was tired and he had finally sit down, letting his greif take over his mind. He squinted his eyes tightly, trying to block out the images and thoughts that were filling his head. Finally he got frustrated and opened his eyes jsut as the Elf passed. He looked up as a familiar scent floated by and looked at the passing person. His voice cracked slightly when he finally realised who it was and spoke, "Ireth?"

She stopped the instant she heard her name. The voice was so familiar. She looked towards the elf wondering who it might be. But it wasnt an elf. It was someone farthest from an elf. She looked at him with confusion, were her eyes deceiving her, was she just that tired that she was now imagining things. She moved, walking closer, but still remaining at some distance. "Arioch? How were you able to step within the gates of the Valinor?" She looked around. "You must leave now. If they find you they will have you executed."

He stood quickly and moved towards her stopping himself just inches from her, "It is you, I thought I was imagining you." He smiled breifly and sighed, "It is a long story, but the short version is that Laita helped me. I had to do a bit of begging but she helped. Your daughter is amazing." He shook his head, "I'm not leaving with out you. I was a fool. Blinded by what Ceresa once was. She lied to me. She wasn't pregnant and she just wanted to harm me more then anything." He looked at her longingly wanting to jsut take her in his arms and hold her.

She raised an eyebrow. "She performed that ritual?" She sighed, and looked down. "I forwarned that child never to perform that ritual. How is she? The spell is designed to take the life forces of elves, and many who perform, succumb to it completely." She looked at him, he looked so much worse than that day they had spoken, and she frowned. "I am sorry she lied to you, Arioch."

He nodded, "Yes but she is fine I think. She collapsed after it was done, but I put her to bed. She came to a moment and told me to go. I got your brother though before I left." He just watched he had wished to see her again for so long and had even caught himself walkign towards the Palace many times. "The only thing that kept me with her was the child. But had I known that you were the one who were pregnant I would have never left. I should have actually checked to see if she were lying to me." He stepped towards her and fought the urge to just pull her towards him, "I'm sorry Ireth. I have caused you so much pain."

She turned from him for an instance, she was still worried, and resolved to have her mother chek to see how Neca was fairing after performing the ritual. She turned to face him again. So many thoughts were running through her head. She was glad to lay eyes upon this creature once again, but she was still hurt from the distance that had been put between them. She looked at him sadly, longing for his touch.

He sighed, "Ireth, I love you. I know you understand why I left. But I am here now, and i want to take you back. I want to marry you and I want to show you how sorry I am." He couldnt help himself he closed the gap between them and wrapped his arms around her. "I have been in sheer misery since I left you. I was releived and angry at Ceresa when i learned the truth. But the moment Laita told me you were here I thought I would just go nuts." He leaned down and kissed her softly.

She shut her eyes, and wrapped her arms around him. "I do understand, but it will not take away from the sadness and the pain I felt in my heart. I lost you, there is no other way to see it as. You were gone, and were with another." She pulled away, only to feel his lips on hers, and though she wished for nothing more than to succumb to him, she pulled away, and turned around, crossing her arms and looking down. "As much as I ache for you Arioch, I do not know if I can return. It has bee na rough transition but I feel comfortable once again. And in someways, Halmar and I have taken from where we lst left off. And though I love you with all my heart, I do not know if I can return with you." She let her tears fall.

He felt as if he was stabbed in the heart with a knife. He had caused her great pain when he only wished to make her happy. "I was with her, but not in the sense that most would think. Even when we shared that house I was never with her truly. I did not allow her near me. In my mind I was with you. Faithful to you only." He sighed sadly and his shoulders sagged in defeat, "I wish only for your happiness. If it makes you happy to be here then stay. But I ask you this, do not stay because of what I did. I regret it deeply, and wish that i had not been so naive."

"I believe in you words, Arioch. But I do not know if I could return to the palace. I wished for you to search your heart when you made your decision, and you did. You wished only to be in the life of the child you both shared. I understand that, beloved. But the day when you gave the news of your departure from my life, the strangest event occured. I was thrusted back in time, a time where Halmar still lived, and in those instances, and through the grief, I felt happy. I traveled here for that reason. To forget and try to re-make my life. Yet, even in my times here, my times with him, my thoughts would stray to you many a time." She turned and touched his cheek.

He looked at her, his eyes glazed with unshed tears, "If it is what you wish then I will turn away now and walk out of you life forever. But do not expect me to like this, because I feel like my world is being toppled. You are my life Ireth and without you I do not think I'll be abel to go on. What of our child?" He lay his hand on top of hers, "You asked me to search my heart, I wish for you to search yours. And if you are truly happier here with Halmar then stay."

"Do not say those words. I do not wish you to see you in such a state. It breaks my heart and it causes more anguish." She saw his tears and wiped hem from his eyes. She loved him, she truly did, and now confusion began to set in. "I do not know what my heart desires. It wishes for the both of you. It is something I have ached the moment I realized what I felt for both of you. I am torn. I do not wish you to go, to leave me or the child I carry within me."
