She moved away from the stall mumbling something about the vendor. She wondered why she'd come here of all places, she knew that the vendors would try to swindle their items with some cheap lie, one which she saw through, but she was desperate for that final ingredient for her potion and here she found herself. She moved to the only other vendoe she saw with items for potions and eyed it, they looked of the worse quality and she just stepped away. She would have better luck looking for itself. Moving past a few people, she made it to a little stretch of land between the square and the path and bent down, looking around. "Stupid merchants," she said to herself.

"You need to know how to find the right ones and then you need to know how to speak with them in ways they will understand. Trading them other things sometimes works wonders since chances are you have something else of little importance that they think they can sell for a lot more." He nodded and just watched her with a bit of curiousity.

She didnt bother to turn around. "It wouldnt have mattered the items they carried were old and of little durability. I should have been searching it for myself, as I had intended, but then laziness set in." She shrugged, and extended her hand under one of the bushes, reaching out. She knew it had to be there somewhere, they grew under some bushes, she knew.

"Looking for what? A root? A flower? Mushroom?" He just squatted on his knees and patted his thighs boringly, taking interest in this for nothing else around was of any interest and Maezyl had not been at the Tower when he had went.

"Parasitic Algae actually. So I'd be careful if I were you. Once a bit latches onto your skin, then you'll be poisoned instantly. Although the cure is actually rather simple to find, just a small dose of oak tree bark." She pulled her hand away and shook her head. "Nothing."

"That wouldn't be hard to cure then. There are a dozen or so oaks behind my home. Simple cure for the algae thing you spoke of." He yawned and stood up again.

"Assuming you realize you're poisoned in time." She moved to the next bush and did the same thing, hoping she had better luck. She pulled her arm out immediately and saw a blueish greenish substance on it. It smelt horribly, but she knew she'd found what she'd needed. She pulled out a small bag and placed it in it, then looked around. "Alright, now Oak tree."

"I don't know where any here are, but you're more than welcome to follow me to my home and going to the oaks there." He shrugged."Unless you rather look around here."

"I dont think there are any here. So I'd have a better chance tagging along with you. Thank you. I appreciate this." She looked around. "So I can assume you're not from around here? This place isnt known for having many curative plant-life."

"Hawthorn." He nodded and just took her by the hand."Come, though I might be a vampire, the wench I resided with did hand me over some nice abilities to assist her." He nodded and faded.
