He walked towards the lake and eyed it silently. It was darker than that of his home land and he wondered why. Looking around, he just sighed softly, wondering if the water would help his back any. Turning around, he called out to the trees."You do not need to hide anymore, I know you are following me." He shook his head and sat down on the grass.

She sighed when she heard him call that out. She thought she had been doing so well, but obviously not. She came out from between the trees towards him, fixing her pants and her tunic, and hurried to him. "I thought I was doing so well, hiding myself. What can I say."

"To most creatures, you would have simply been another part of the background. You did well in that respect, but I'm me, and you can't do that to me." He smiled and looked back to the lake.

"If I had tried a little harder, I could have." She joined him by the lake and took a seat, taking in the sights around them. "I've never seen anything quite like this. The trees do not shine or glimmer. None tends to the animals or the plants, and It seems so seperated. Yet, I still like it."

"Town of survivors, that's what this is. You are very much on your own here. I feel just as much at home here as I do back at the Palace. Maybe here even moreso."

"Why do you feel that way?" She looked at him curiously, and looked up admiring the sky. It was odd, because it just looked so natural to her, even if it did when she was at home as well.

He shrugged."I simply do, that's all." He laid back and closed his eyes, trying to relax some.

She gave a nod, and brought her knees up to her chin. She wrapped her arms around them, and laid her head on it, as she looked to the side, the trees swaying in the wind. She was sensing creatures she had never before sensed, and wondered what they were.

He felt the grass beneath him and just rested silently."Whenver you wish to go, you let me know alright?" He nodded.

"Alright, but I can find my way back, by myself." She watched a few of the wildlife eat and rest, and smiled. The creatures were beautiful. She thought for a bit before speaking up. "I can understand why Iaraya was so bent on the elves going out to interact, but I can also sense why my mother did not wish to open the barrier until recently. I just sense so many dark and almost evil energies."

He nodded."Mhmm, a lot of them, but there is just as much good around them as well." He nodded once again."The creatures here consist of many, vampires, demons, fallen angels, werewolves, among other things. They all reside here. Some are very strong." He could sense a few creatures that were far but still showed great auras. "You can go back by yourself, but that is out of the question for now. You might be attacked and I would never hear the end of it or forgive myself for letting you get hurt."

"Interesting. It really is, such a melting pot. But either way, it's the most dark energies I've ever sensed." She turned to him. "If I get attacked I'll blame it on myself, for being so foolish to venture out. I'd make sure they wouldnt find out you were with me."

"They would know we were together by the mere looks of one of our faces." he shook his head and laughed some.

"Oh Bah to you, Cirdan." She turned her head and stuck her tongue out at him. "Were you planning to visit other places?"

"No, not really. Nowhere is pulling me forward. Just the lake" He shrugged and then looked at her, his eyes open now of course.
