It felt as if he had almost disappeared out of thin air. He'd decided one day to just get up and go out on his own. He didn't know why and he didn't know what for, but he was back now so it didn't matter. Laying on his stomach, he ran his hands along the water, in an almost therapeutic way. Yawning, he just willed several plants to grow and watched as they flamed up, a mix of plant and fire. He smiled. His own unique plant, literally a fire plant. He had no idea what it could be used for, but if it wasn't bothered, it would remain this way for however long it could, given that water didn't fully submerge it or it rained constantly, or so he hoped. Yawning once more, he just stood up and pulled off his shirt, running a hand down his toughened skin. He'd been burned badly but his skin was healing well now. His back on the other hand was taking longer to get back to normal and still had open pockets of flesh that were between a scabbing stage, but he moved so much, the scabs never really formed all the way. Tugging his boots off, he frowned at the smell they held, because he hadn't changed boots for years now, and his eyes watered at the stench he made with his feet. Shaking his head, he pulled his socks off and then shimmied out of his pants, leaving him in some scorched shorts. Stretching his arms above his head, he just walked into the water and went up to his waist. This was the worst part, getting his back wet. It was one of the most painful things he had to do now. Taking a long breath in, he submerged himself into the water and held his breath, biting his tongue because of the pain of the water entering his wounds and cleaning them out. After about twenty minutes, he came back up and just ran a hand through his hair, laying out on his back, singing to himself softly. This was relaxing. No one was around and he had had the whole lake to himself. The weather was nice and nothing could disturb him right now. It was serene, and he loved it. Turning over, he did a few laps back and forth and then dove down, as far as he could and started swimming after different fish, catching several and letting them go. He laughed as a fish swam right into him defiantly and just swam away, as if he owned the place. Grinning, he swam after it for several minutes and then gave up when it disappeared into a group or large rocks. Kicking up off the bottom of the lake, he looked around and realized he'd gone to the oopposite side. Laughing, he just started his swim back, enjoying this moment he had.
