Demons are universally regarded as incorperal spirit that can actualize into anything. In other words, they are almost transperant and can take on many different shapes. Demons, by nature are represented as malevolent spirits, who taint humans by making them do deeds for them. They can be conjured, and when that's the case the conjurer has a certain amount of control over the demonic spirit. Demons, can usually be seen as extremely attractive in order to catch their pray. There are different types of demons in folklore, but for the sake of time (and space) I will only name two affluent demonic creatures, other than the general 'demon'.
Succubus: This is a promiscuous female demon who takes the guise of an attractive woman, during the dreams of sleeping men in hopes to get them to ejaculate. At times they also sleep with the sleeping man. Once the sleeping male ejaculates the succubus then takes the secreted semen and hands it over to their male counterpart. Though they lack numbers they use their charm and attractiveness to their advantage.
Incubus: This is the male counterpart of the Succubus. They prey on sleeping females and usually have their way with them by raping them during their sleep. Once they sleep with the sleeping woman, they use the semen given to them by the Succubus to impregnant them. When the women give birth, theu birth horrid looking creatures. Legend says that the Incubus was once an angel who fell from grace because of his desire and lust for woman.
