He laughed and shook his head, eyeing the demoness."As nice looking as you are, I would not like to have dinner with you. Yes, you heard right, and no, I'm not stupid. Quite smart actually for saying no." He laughed some more and just looked at her with no remorse."Go on, be what you are with someone else, Orenar Taninide has no time for such monsters as yourself." Once more the woman began rambling on about how strong he was and how any smart demon would bring her out to dinner."I won't tell you again demoness, but when I deny someone something, it is denied forever. Besides, had I said yes, my daughter would tan my hide until I was as dark as night." He continued laughing and then pushed her aside."You'll get me huh? Silly creature, you can not get me, for I am unattainable. Ask my sons, they know this as much as anyone." He nodded and then got serious, walking away from her, thinking to who he had just mentioned."Perhaps...perhaps I should go see him." he thought about going to see his eldest son Ather, wondering about it, remembering how they had parted ways all those years ago.

She looked down the large stairwell of the tenement, watching as the dagger flew down with quick speed. She moved her head up, and saw someone was up their throwing dangerous objects and just shook her head. She couldnt comprehend the thought process of these people. She saw the dagger barely missing someone and just went up the stairway again. She walked down the hallway, hearing two people talking. One of was the obvious voice of the resident whore, and the other was of a male who was taking the advancements with stride. She smirked to herself and kept walking towards her door.

Having had enough with this place, he continued on down the road, wanting to be as far away from the place but he didn't want to fade at the moment. He was spoiling his legs with fading, so walking it would be to regain his stamina for the activity.

She pulled out her keys and unlocked her door, leaving it open, as she walked back down the stairs again, and picked up a huge box by the entrance of the tenement. She went right back up the stairs, and extended her hand as she caught a dagger, and looked up. She glared at the people on the top and watched them disappear away from the railing.

Figuring he was far enough away, he sat down for a bit and started contemplating things about some of the events about to come. It just led to where he was in his life, Circe being crazy and pregnant, the young Zotithla boy becoming what he was becoming and a number of other things.

She stopped and put the box down. "Fuck this." She placed her hand on the box and faded to her apartment and left it there. She closed the door and locked it then faded downstairs and headed down the road. She needed something else, and as always moving tended to be more annoying than anything. She stopped for a moment, digging through her pockets. "Great..." Her eyes turned dark and she kept walking, this time with an angry expression. "I'll kill the bastards.."

"Kill huh? Must have stolen lipstick or something of the like?" She looked like one of those, and as he did a lot, he just let his impression run the show in conversing with people, and this would be no different."Or perhaps money, but they're long gone, way down at the sout of the town."

[Larentia Vespal-Taninide]

She stopped, looking at the man who'd just spoken that. "No, it's not lipstick. I dont care about makeup, it's something stupid and idiotic." She let herself calm down. "It wasnt money. It was something of value, but to me only." She shook her head and turned her head, he was most likely right.

"What was it? I'm sure that what is of value to you is a value to more than one person." he nodded and then eyed her up and down."Yes, makeup, idiotic, very much so, but that one down there had on tons of it, still did not conceal her monstrocity of a wart."

[Larentia Vespal-Taninide]

"It was a pendant from my deceased father. I dont know what type of monetary value it may have, but it's emotional for me." She smirked and then started to laughing. "Yes, I know. She ALWAYS wears a lot of make-up. I heard you both. It was refreshing to hear someone who wasnt entranced by her illusion and saw her for what she was, a hideous gargoyle."

"I have a lot more expectations than that thing could give." He nodded and then stood up."Family value huh?" He eyed her and then nodded firmly once more."Give me several minutes. What does it look like?"

[Larentia Vespal-Taninide]

"I gathered as much from your tone of voice. You didnt even let her advances annoy you." She smiled slightly. "It's the image of a small castle. It's more of a locket." She looked to him. More than happy, that she managed to find someone with a little bit of kindness.

"Castle. Ok, got it. I'll be right back with what was taken from you." He faded away and it was several minutes in which he found the culprit, had the locket and then was back in front of her, the demon and the locket in his grasp. Pushing the demon in front of her still holding him."Go on, what do you say to the woman?" He heard the demon mutter a sorry and then looked to the demoness."Is that satisfactory for you?"

She looked around, just awaiting his arrival, wondering how long it would take. She saw him fade back with the person who stole it. He was fast. She eyed the demon with an angry glare. "Yes. But if you steal anything else from me, I'll castrate you." Her eyes filled with seriousness, she turned to the demon, nodding in thanks.

"Off with you then, go." He let go of the demon and watched him fade away and then handed her back the locket."No demon is strong if they have to steal such a thing as a locket from a woman who is minding her own business. That shows nothing in ranking of the kind I am used to."
