Her body laid still on the ground. Her eyes were shut and she barely moved. She was not in her normal state, she had managed to remain in her Dragon form for the two hours or so. She panted heavily, unable to breathe from her spot on the ground. She looked about in the hallway of the castle, the lights were still lit, even after the confrontation she had with the monster within its wall. She raised her head up slowly. Slowly she stood, shakily. There were deep gashes all around her body, and she was in a worst state then the last time she had remained within the castle. Her eyes glazed over every once in awhile. A tear or two escaping from the tear ducts. She moved slowly, towards the body of the monster. It's body was full of bite and scratch marks. For an instant her mind wandered to what had occured a few hours before. She had made it to the castle and had entered even in her form, unable to understand how it occured. She felt a deep need for destruction and the instant she step a foot into the castle, the creature that had attacked her before, attacked once again. But this time she was better suited to deal what its blow. She managed to raise her claws and scratch him enough to regain her footing and they fought. She could still feel it's fangs biting into her skin. Although covered with scales it managed to bite through the skin. She fought back, not wishing to have this thing overcome her again. The battle finally ended when she managed to grasp it by the neck and flung it around wildly, biting deeply into the skin until she could feel its neck break. When she tossed it's body to the floor it was lifeless, and she noticed the pool of blood that came from it, and soon noticed her own. Blood was spilt everywhere and she felt her blurriness overcome her again. She could barely see what was around her. She thought she would end up dying but something happened. Her body began to burn once again, but then everything became black. As she lay thinking she could feel her body change, and it brought about so much pain. She looked at the creature that she could no longer recognize and held onto the wall. Blood was still spilling from her, and she hurried to the door. When she stepped outside the cold wind passing by, made her skin ache with such a pain and she whimpered from it. The doors closed and she looked around. She knew she wouldnt be able to make it to the Tower, but hoped that someone would find her before she died. And as her body fell onto the ground, a small smile adorned her face. She managed to beat and kill whatever creature resided in the castle, and as she laid their almost lifeless, the sounds of the drum beating blared one last time before she closed her eyes and let the world around her fade.
