He threw his dagger onto the trunk of the tree, he walked to it and pulled out the weapon, sighing. He'd been bored and made a design with the weapon. He couldnt stay still it seemed. When he sat down or tried to go to a place to relax, he just couldnt. The last words he and Nailana had for one another still burned deep in him and still hurt like hell. And when he'd gotten her letter it just made everything even worse. He loved her, he really did. He wanted to spend the rest of his life by her side, but her words burnt, and he couldnt forgive her for it, especially when she threw down her wedding ring at him. He pulled out his chain and looked at both his ring and her dangling in unity, and he frowned, because while their ring seemed to be 'united' it seemed that him and Nailana werent. He leaned against the tree, and crossed his arms, and just watched as the leaves fell to the ground.

She walked alogn the plains her thoughts on the upcoming birth of her second child. She had finally told Angelus, well he had actually already knew. He just wanted her to confirm it. Since he had found out he had made sure that stress did not get the best of her. He kept her locked away in the cottage and made sure she had everythign she needed. But Salandra being who she was couldn't stay cooped up forever, especially when she had family members to tell. She knew MAe woul dbe angry at her for not telling her sooner. But Sal wanted to make sure that the baby didn't miscarry before she told anyone. And now that she was showing and the baby seemed to be fine she could tell someone. But for now she wanted to just take a walk. She walked aimlessly, in the direction of the Tower, but she walked slow. Wanting to take in the beauty of the area.

As he remained still, so many memories rushed through him. Events that had long pass, the first meeting he had had with Nailana. And how everything changed from that moment. It seemed his entire life changed the instant he met her. He found out about Maezyl, and then everything with Salaz. He smiled a bit reminded of how big of a bitch she was to him and how turned on it made him. But soon a sad smile creeped through his face and he pushed himself from the tree. He walked amongst the path just letting his thoughts take over him, and unbeknownest to him, he was starting his grieving over Nailana, for a marriage that seemed to never be again. "It's best this way."

As she walked she heard someone calling her name. She turned and smiled slightly when she saw her mother sitting ontop of Marcus's horse. She stood there waiting for her to catch up. Finally as her mother got closer she dismounted the horse and hugged her. Salandra hugged her back and smiled, "Hello mother. Where are you going in such a hurry?" She spoke to her for a bit, feeling the sadness that eminated from her despite the false smile. She sighed she knew how hard it was for her to live in the Tower and have everyone almost hate her. She had been through that once as well. She listened to her, noting she was taking a trip and would be gone for a few weeks. Finally they spoke of the upcomign birth of Salandra's child. She seemed genuinely excited and for one moment the glint was back in her mother's eyes. But soon it disappeared. Finally they said they're goodbye's and her mother remounted her horse. She waved to her and watched as the horse reared and turned on it's back legs, and galloped off, leaving Salandra there alone.

He stopped. For an instance he could have sworned to have felt Nailana, but now he wasnt too sure. It must have been his mind playing tricks on him, he thought. Shrugging his shoulders and went down the path. He had spoken to Mae about everything that had happened. She was angry when she heard what he told her, but then she calmed down. And surprisingly enough saw things from Nailana's perspective. He had been surprised by it, but he got a bit of insight too. But by the end of the conversation, he was grateful that Mae told him to do what his heart told him, and also to have her support. He stopped for a moment, looking at something on the ground, and then went on his 'merry' way again.

She stood there for many moments and finally she turned back towards the Tower and started down the path again. She really needed to speak to Mae. Just to get her advice on the pregnancy and to just get teh reassurance that seemed to eminate from her sister. More then anythign she loved Mae, she was the closest thing she had to a female best friend and she needed that. She couldn't veyr well talk to Angelus about the happenings of Pregnancy. As she walked she saw someone ahead of her. As she got nearer to them she recognized them. She smiled, first her mother and Now her father. She seemed to be knocking off the top ranking people who she needed to tell. She would have like to tell Maezyl first, but she couldnt very well avoid her mother or father and they couldnt very well ignroe the fact that she was looking pregnant. As she drew closer to him she smiled wickedly, "We need to stop meeting like this you gorgeous devil." She was feeling a bit playful at the moment and knew that her father probably needed as much joy as her mother needed.

He turned instantly, when he heard the statement, and seeing it was Salandra he smiled. "You're just saying that, I'm old, sagging and getting a beer belly, see." He hit his gut a few times and walked towards Salandra. She seemed to be about three sizes big than the last time he saw her. He hugged her and the pulled away with a raised eyebrow. "Let me guess, either you're a) getting fat, or b) pregnant. And since I dont want to be hit upside the head I'm going with the latter, Angelus knocked you up didnt he?"

She smiled and hugged her father warmly, "Your nto getting a bear gut your just letting yourself go. I always suspected Van would do that but never you dad." She looked down at her stomach then back at her father smiling, "Yeah he did. I was going to tell you guys sooner, but with what happened last time I didm't want to get everyone's hopes up." HEr smile faded for a moment, thinking of the events that had caused her to loose her first child. But then she smiled again, not wanting to dwell on the past, "How are you dad? And why havent you come to visit me as promised?"

"I did go a few times but you were usually sleeping, and I wasnt going to wake you. Got a chance to sit down with the boy and speak to him. Told him if he fucked up again I was gonna castrate his lycan ass and feed his hairy balls to some pigeons and than make him watch." He shrugged. "Eh, I'm alright, I suppose. Cant complain, I've got my health and I'm not a psycho maniac going around killing people. So I'm as good as I can be." He eyed her. "What about you? How's your health with everything?" He laughed. "Seems all my kids are having kids, I'm getting waaaaay too old."

She smiled, "Dad you could have woken me. I wouldnt have minded. Really, Angelus has been so crazy lately. I know he just wants to make sure everything goes right this time, but I don't think keeping me locked in the house is going to prevent anything." She looked at him and shook her head, "Maybe that explains his psychoticness. Really here I was thinking he wanted to make sure I as ok, but really he is afraid of you." She laughed and then looked at him seriously, "Are yu sure dad? Because I jsut saw mother adn she doesnt look well. She's getting almsot skeletal looking and I an't help but wonder if you guys had a fight ro something. As for me I'm fine dad, baby is fine and doing well. And what do you mean your kids are havign kids? Mae isn't pregnant again is she?"

"That could be it, probably is." He chuckled and then nodded. "Yeah, fine." When she spoke about Nailana he merely shrugged his shoulders. "She knows she should eat, you'd think the woman would get common sense." It hurt him to know that, but from now in he was just going to react to what was said about her as if he didnt care and a part of him, really didnt. "Oh, You probably dont know but Fenrir's got a kid. And I dont think Mae is pregnant. I think maybe she's trying to hold off on that one for awhile."

She sighed and looke dat him, "Dad when everythign with Angelus happened I didnt really eat to much either. It's an emotional time for a woman. We deal with it our way and you men deal with it your own way. I've never really seen her act this way. Not even when that man 'died'. She was saddened and she grieved but she never gave up on her health. I guess you can say it proves how much she does love you. I knwo you don't care to speak about her after everything, but I'm worried for her dad. Especially now that she is going to this other town and taking on this band of Vampires. I've heard abotu them. They aren't full Vampires, they are halfies. Demon/Vampires who are ruthless. And if mom isnt careful she could get hurt."

"Yeah, I know. I've been living enough with women to know." He shrugged. "Not my problem." He said coldly. "She wants to get herself killed, that's on her, isnt it? I'm not out and about putting myself in danger over this. I have a family to think of, a family I went a LONG time without. So if she thinks she deserves pity she has another thing coming, and I suggest we change subject because I dont care to hear about this anymore."

She sighed sadly, "I hate to see you both like this. I know you might seem cold and indiferent btu deep down your hurting dad. It's there in your eyes. No matter how much you try to hide it its there. But do you really think you could endure it again? I dont think i could or anyone else. I don't think she is doing it as recklessness. Mom has a hero complex at times, and she never turns down someone in need. And I think deep down she feels that this gang is the one who took everythign from her." She sighed when she heard his warning and nodded, "Fine dad. I wont say anymore. I'll just let you know I'm not trying to deter your anger from her, I jsut worry about you both. your my parents afterall and i love you guys. But anyway, how is everyone else at the tower? Tell me about Fenrir's son. I'm going to throttle him for not telling me. I feel so left out. Maybe I should move back home too."

He let her statement go from one ear out the other. "Everyone seems alright, well okay, really. Zora seems to be avoiding everyone, except for Mae, something happened that she didnt want to tell me, so I'll just wait for one of them to speak up. And in regards to Fenrir's son, no one knew about him. He's two or so years old now. I found out a few weeks ago, as did Mae, and your mother. Your mother seemed to have taken it well, Mae...well you can imagine. She kept going on about how no one tells her anything, and that she's just not gonna bother pretty soon."
