"So you're my grandfather?" He ran a hand through his hair and looked over to this man he'd caught over at the Tower looking for his mother, but he'd intercepted him and they both decided to go for a walk and to talk.

"Yes, I am your grandfather from your father's side of course. It's been quite a long time I agree." He nodded and watched the boy with a lot of interest. He sensed parts of his own child inside of him and power, a lot of power."But back to your proposition. Bringing Vandos back?"

"Yeah, about my proposition of bringing my father back to life. You're his father, so I thought it would be appropriate that I ask you for help, only because parents are part of what I read in the book."

"I see, and what's needed for this? Blood? Aura?" He smiled."That's usually what people think is needed for these type of things, considering you're bringing about a dead body."

"Well yes and no. I'll supply the blood needed, what I need from you is essence. But the problem with that is that it would have to be enough essence to give him full life and that in turn could cause you to lose your own life."

"I figured that much. Might there be another way? I have a lot of other family I haven't seen yet and I'm alive. I see the potential, but no one can blame me for wanting to live. My son wouldn't want it either. I know he wouldn't.." he scratched the back of his ear and thought silently.

"I figured as much. And I don't blame you for wanting to live, I really don't. No one is ever willing to do such a thing, and I'll never ask my mom about it because I can't do that, to myself, to her, to my father, to everyone." He sighed."What about grandma?"

"She's dead remember? She has no essence anymore." He sighed at the mention of his wife."She left things, but I don't think they were anything important, unless, well, it's possible she knew. She got sick before and even worse when we knew he was dead, so..." He thought about his wife silently, how she would sometimes feel certain things, do things for reasons unknown. She had gone quite unexpectedly.

"Yeah sorry, I forgot about that major piece of information. Sorry once more for the loss. I'd have liked to know who she was and all." He kicked the dirt ahead of him.

"Oh no, it's alright. She was a very sweet, knowledgable, pretty, no, beautiful woman. I loved her with every part of my whole soul and body." He smiled and just thought even more about her, things she said and it clicked. Maybe...but he would have to go read the note."We need to go to your Uncle's house. Now." He nodded and just faded away to Alinthos's house.

He frowned, confused by the man's sudden actions and just trusted his judgement, hoping he found something to continue this process he wanted to complete to bring his father back and just faded away after him to his Uncle's house.
