She watched the humans for awhile, respecting how far they had come in their skills throughout the millenia. Soon they all dissapated, the stars had begun to shine in the sky and they all went their ways to their homes. She stared at the bright lights in the sky, wondering how long this harmony would remain for. It had been mere days since the battle infront of the Demonic Fortress and it all seemed to be pointing in the direction the ancient texts spoke of. She did not mind in the least either way the events of the world went. She was afterall, the Angel of Warfare and she lived for the fight.

After taking a stroll along the area her feet brought her to the encampment. She'd sensed the familiar aura of someone she hadnt spoken too in a few centuries and who as always seemed preoccupied in her thoughts. Fading away, and right back next to her, she stood beside her, looking up in wonderment of what was so amusing. "They always shine, surely you know this Asherah." She smiled.

She chuckled briefly, turning her head towards Sairalinde. "Oh yes, as if it's the first time I've laid eyes upon the stars." She smiled sheepishly. "Come sit next to an old friend. It's been awhile, and I'm sure we each have interesting news of what's become of our lives. At least I can hope that to be the case."

"What is there to say? I've lived my days as an assasin. And I've roamed about. That is what I've done with my days, nothing of too much excitement. Although I'm sure you might have quite the tales to tell me. You always did. My favorite of course was of the way you ended the war between the Habions and the Bertan peoples. That was quite the colorful. To think I might have joined you, had I not been sent to do away with the commander of the Lyunir." She smiled briefly. "Who were to think that you, I, and Yarizel would all be a part of the most succesful Angelic army, and now two of the three have fallen, although it would be expected given what we are."

"Oh it was expected of the ones who envied us. We were the best, they all just fathomed to be of such calibur." She laughed briefly, eyeing her. She still remained with the same demeaner, and she always looked the same. "As for myself. I have done as I have always been made to do, and it is fight. It is my calling after all. Although for the last few centures or so, myself and Azazel have been searcing for remnants of the grand city that have been in the ancient scripts. The events are all occuring in succession, almost a warning of what is to come."

She looked at her quizzically, both her attention and her curiosity being stirred. "But that text was supposed to have been destroyed almost a thousand years after the fall of Nehamnent the last known place of it's rest." She eyed Asherah. "What do the texts say then? I only heard rumours of the words held within them and they were from Xarkic and I would not trust his information to be complete."

"Where to begin. There is much that is being said. The texts speak of the legend, the mythos of the grand city of Qua'ryun. The real truth of why the city was destroyed. It was an angel who destroyed the city and the inhabitants. But in the text they only refer to him as "Katheth" or "Great One." No other name is spoken. He destroyed the city because of the secrets they held of his true origins, of the true plans of the world. They tell the stories of the beginning of the races, and what they speak of is much different than what we were told eons ago. But it also speaks of a deep Axis. An Axis that lies in this world, unknown to all. A very dark power is held within it. It does not belong to any one race. Any can obtain it and gain unfathomable strength. This power bestows absolute power to the person who gains it." She looked around, making sure no one snuck up on the conversation, although she could sense it regardless. "I speak of the power to do anything, Sairalinde." She lowered her voice. "It grants the absolute powers of life and death, it gives the power to create life even from the tiniest speck of dust. It grants it's controller the ability to decimate and vanish races with the stroke of a hand. The truest power of evil. An evil that will destroy this world if it is not found soon. Do you remember the tale of the child who could give life to anything he touched?"

She listened with interest. This was information that was not given to any Angel, and she could guess why, but it wasnt the obvious. In someways, she expected Xarkic to want it all for himself. She nodded slowly. "Yes, I remember the story. The child which the sea swallowed up, because even it feared what unholy creations the child would create." She looked at Asherah, wondering about the question. "Why do you ask?"

"Because that child was spoken about in the text of Qua'ryun and they were said to have been borne from that power. But only it granted one specific power, which was of life. But both Azazel and I have been searching the seas and we've yet to find anything. Not even a body, and we''ve concluded the story is but a lie. The child still lives, except they are no longer a child. They are as old as you or I, if not older. And we believe that over time their power grew. We're also certain it was a male, and we strongly believe that they taught themselves the other powers that was denied to them. But it is not as strong as the Axis' and they too seek for it in order to gain absolute power."

"And the instance they gain this power the world is but inches away from annihilation." She looked at her. She had a strong inclination, but she was unsure, so she did not mention anything. "So if this power were to get into the wrong hands then no one is safe. And we're all at risk of being destroyed.' She chuckled. "The classic tale of good versus evil, is it not?" She gazed at the sky. "Have you found the ruins of the city of Qua'Ryun?"

"As always a tale as old as time." She smiled briefly. "I've made it my duty to search constantly, but nothing. I begin to think that it was swallowed deep into the Earth. But I cannot be too sure. But that is all I know for now. I trust you shall tell only those who can aid us." She stood. "Sairalinde, I must bid you farewell, but I shall be around so we can speak more." She smiled. "Goodbye old friend." With those words she faded away.

"Goodbye, Asherah." She looked around letting the words just spoken to her roam around in her head. "And I have my suspicions. I can only hope no one finds it just yet." She looked up, gazing at the stars, then headed for the forest, disappearing.
