Her hips moved to the sound of her own voice. The others told her to stay away from the Swamp because of the apparition there but she didnt care. She was tired of being in the happy, cheery places. She longed for a chance to see parts of the real world, and that's why she found herself at the Swamp. This was her first time away from the otherworld. She was convinced she was the onloy Faerie to step into the swamp in forever and that thought made her smile. She let some of the moonlight hit her, as she danced and sung alone, in the most unlikely of places.

He had come this way for some simple plants and water from the swamp and then he heard it. What was it that was making that song. Moving along, he followed it and then spied a woman dancing, here of all places. Smiling, he watched her some more, noting she wasn't anything he had encountered before. Then it hit him. She was a faerie, and she was a beautiful one at that.

She kept her song and dance up for several more moments. Then she looked up at the moon, smiling. It was so bright out, and she loved to be under it's soothing light. But what she loved even more was when the moon was out and it rained, even if it did not happen often. She kept looking up and decided tonight would be perfect for that. She began to dance again, this time a dance which would make it rain. Of course a simple wave of the hand and the right words could cause it to rain, but she prefferred this method. She began moving slowly, moving her hands along her body.

Sitting down on a treestump, he continued on. Getting what he needed was put at a pitiful second to see what she was dancing for. He assumed there wasn't a meaningless reason anymore, since her dance had changed and she looked to be concentrating a bit more on her moves.

Her dancing gradually stop with the number of raindrops that begun to fall down. When she saw a small rainfall she stopped. She let herself get completely soaked, enjoying the moment. She never did understand why other Faeries would run for cover when it rained, but it didnt matter to her. She sat on the grass, enjoying the feel of the rain. She turned slowly, when she sensed another, and looked towards their direction, even if she couldnt see them, she could certainly feel them. She got up, and walked slowly in that direction. She spoke in a soft, melodic, and gentle voice. "Who's there?"

He stood up and revealed himself. "Lucifer King. I mean no harm to you." He walked forward and looked up, rain hitting him in the face. "You did this?"

"Lucifer King?" She blinked once, chuckling softly. "You were named after the Fallen Angel?" She cocked her head to the side and nodded. "Yes, I did. It's nice to when it rains and the full moon is out." She smiled. "Leyna Barrin, is my name."

"Pleasure to meet you Leyna Barrin. And well, I think that's pretty cool. Making rain and such." He smiled and looked around quietly. "Why the swamp?"

"Well why not the swamp?" She retorted. "Nature is nature no matter where you go. And well, Faeries are afraid of this place. They told me not to come here, but hell if I'll listen to them." She grinned sheepishly. "I'm like the blacksheep of the our kind." She looked at him, he was very handsome.

"You might say that about me as well. Vampire, but I hunt 'em. Quite fun if I say so myself." He laughed and gave her a huge smile. "Nothing wrong with being a blacksheep."

"A Vampire?" She looked at him, trying to recognize his aura for herself, and he was that. "Wow, A vampire that hunts Vampires. Nothing wrong with that." She came closer to him and whispered. "I sometimes feel like hunting Faeries, they can be so annoying." She smiled and nodded. "Nothing wrong with that." She looked up, letting a few raindrops hit her.

"That's cool." He sat down and yawned quietly. "So...? What's up?" He didn't know what else to ask her really. She was a stranger after all. He'd only known her for a few minutes.

She made a face, and cocked her head to the side. "I'm boring you, arent I? Well....in which case. Dance with me, Lucifer?" She didnt even let him answer, and she grabbed his hand, "Let's dance." She gave a nod, and hummed a song under her breathe for several minutes, as she spun him around with her hands. But she stopped humming, but there was still a melody coming from the night air. She led him in a dance under the rain. "I've never danced with a Vampire Slaying Vampire before." She chortled.

"I've never danced with a Faerie in my life. And I've been around for quite a bit now." He smiled and followed her lead, and then switched up, dipping her down and pulling her against him, eyeing her silently, taking in her scent mixed with that of the rain and it made him warm inside, something he hadn't felt in ages.

She just smiled, looking at him. "Dont worry, not many do. We tend to stay to ourselves. I'm sure you've noticed not a lot of us around." She pulled up closer against him, then twirled with him. Her feet as light as the wind in that instance. Then she pulled away, but grabbed onto both of his hands and spun them both around, "This makes people dizzy, but it's always good fun." She laughed, and then pulled him back towards him. "Ever fly?"
