He tried shrugging, but that was impossible. He needed to try and turn back. He moved to the markings, and nothing. Thinking slightly, he sped right at her, now he was inside her, and this was even more of a different feeling. He was barraged with thoughts, but he made his own known, that he didn't know how to change back, and if she could be so grateful as to help in ideas.

She looked about, frantically and then she felt something other than her own thoughts and aura enter her. She was unsure of what any of this meant, but then she could sense a distinct thought, a thought she had had, and this one was from a different point of view so she knew it was Regulus. She could feel him, and tried to think of anything. She racked her brain carefully, and spoke using her thoughts. Maybe the Stupor, it's supposed to have energies and powers other than what most of our kind thinks... Then she remembered something she had heard a long time ago. The forest, it has somekind of portal between it and the Swap, the same markings, except it's supposed lay in a dimension other than our own. But if it's true, then other markings should be able to give you back your body.

What if I just try and will myself back? I mean, I sense everything I have, it just doesn't work because I'm a bunch of shadow stuff. We could be forever in the forest, it's huge, and we might never find it. There's got to be another way. Maybe I can control it. Bring me out of the swamp. Just do it, don't argue the possible consequences.

But Reg... She sighed and nodded. Let's go then. I hope this works, because if I lose you... She started out of the Swamp, she didnt care which direction she was going from as long as she could get the hell out. She really hoped this worked and instead of just walking she just decided to fade, and she did, finding herself an inch or two from the area that the swamp covered, and bit her lower lip, hoping it worked.

The feeling was weird. He was pulled out of his mother and then felt his form stay as it was, and then sighed mentally. Willing himself to change back, he looked around, moved around, slammed his form against the ground, and then strained himself, and felt a searing pain through his whole being and then he was a lump of creature, falling to the ground with a loud thud, trying to catch his breath.

She moved over to him, and looked at him, running her hand across his forehead and smiled. He was back, and she sighed with relief. She started laughing slightly, and kissed his forehead. "You're back Regulus.." She sat back on the ground, crying silently, she was terrified for a moment there. "Do you feel any different?" She wiped her tears, smiling.

"I do feel different, yeah. Bit out of my head actually." He smiled for her though, that unique Regulus grin that he knew she couldn't argue with ever since he was little. "I'm tired, hungry, and surprisingly sore. Hopefully I don't change back. Won't be good, but I don't think it's gone away mom." He got up and leaned against her.

She smiled, and hugged him tightly. "Then let's get home, I'll cook you want you, I'll even read you a bedtime story, like when you were little." She chuckled. "I'm guessing that some after effects stayed. I would be surprised if you had the ability to materialize and dematerialize."

"That would be a great ability when it comes to fighting." He nodded and held her hand."Food and a story sounds great mom. Fade us home then, I don't think I can manage, and if I could, I'm too lazy."

She chuckled and nodded. "Hold on, sweetie." She squeezed his hand and faded away.
