He looked at the fortress doors. They mocked him, and he glared at them angrily, sealed behind them what he knew belonged to him. If he thought hard enough, he could almost feel it, the raw power in his hands, and it was his birthright. All the stories that had been told to him as a little boy, the ramblings of his grandfather befor he finally passed away, taking any information he might have with him. Sending a fireball against the door out of frustration, his jaw dropped. His grandfather...he held the information on how he could get in. Could he have hidden anything somewhere at the fort? Could that horrible feeling he had when he had purchased his home really been a family heirloom? Thinking about all of these things he had dreamed of, these things that were haunting him, stalking him everyday, now, even in his waking hours, he looked at the fortress once more and examined the door silently.

She had become worried. She had barely seen him in the last few weeks. She understood why, but it would not change the fact that he was changing little by little everyday. The few times he had return, he had gone straight to bed, and even then he would awake with a cold sweat. His obsession with the fort was unnerving to her. Of course, she had an obsession with the castle, but hers was not to the extent his was. She sighed, and reappeared near the Fort. She looked at it, sensing the history and the dread of what events had occured within the walls. She walked towards the building seeing him by the doors. She wondered how long the fort would end up denying him access to it, and with no real answer all she could do was wait, just as he was. She was nearing the fort, when she stopped suddenly, for no real reason, except to watch his actions.

He eyed the door and kicked it with the tip of his boot."Curse you, for mocking me as you are." he slammed his fist against the door, feeling it reverberate. "Open up, I want you to open up!" He was yelling at it now.

She frowned. She wanted to help him, eventhough she knew she couldnt. He seemed so frustrated. She sighed and started towards the door again, watching his reaction to it. She wasnt sure if she should go any further, not knowing what exactly composed the innards or even the defenses of it. Not caring of what might be the consequences she stepped forth. "Cerberus?"

"What!?" He turned and looked at her silently and then cracked his knuckles."Oh, it's you Yarizel." He nodded and then went right back to the door.

"Yes, it's me." She raised her eyebrow, watching his actions once again. "Maybe you should rest from this for a bit, Cerberus. This has become an obsession for you."

"I can't Yarizel. I can't, if I rest or stop, I might never attain what I'm supposed to. The fortress is calling to me when I sleep. I can't deny it." He looked at her very seriously.

"That may be so, but how long can you keep this up? You spend day and night here, and the nights you've returned, you wake up with a start, in a cold sweat, looking disturbed, and confused." She frowned. "I understand you wish to attain what's inside, but maybe you should try looking further into the history of the fortress, it might give you insight into a bit of what's inside." She watched him, "A fort as old as this, must have a secret spot to enter and leave from, if need arise."

"I've looked. The man who knows is my grandfather, but he is gone, he knew more stories than anyone." He growled in frustration."You dare try to divert me Yarizel?"

"I'm not trying to divert you. Get a ahold of yourself, Cerberus. Why would I divert you when I advised you to go in search of part of your history?" She walked closer to him, her eyes narrowing. "There is a way for you speak to him even in death."

"Not MY grandfather." he shook his head."You do not understand my heritage Yarizel, you think you do, but you don't." He looked at her seriously."There is no way to speak to him. He took everything he knew with him, there is no way to get it back, unless he wrote it down."

"Very well, as you say. I know nothing of your heritage, so I shall keep my mouth shut on the matter." She looked over the fort. "I will suggest though. If he did, it would be best to start off in the place you'd never suspect him to keep anything."

"Easier said than done Yarizel." he shook his head."These things could be ANYWHERE." He shook his head once more and sighed deeply in frustration.

"There's something interesting I heard once. There was a poweful demon who had great knowledge of an item that would give any strength that none could ever fathom. Though he had the item, he knew that if he buried it anywhere in particular it would still be found. With the help of a sorcerer he managed to hide the item in the one place no one would ever think of finding it...." She turned. "Within his own body...and though he is dead now, the item remains within him, even if none knows, or has even thought of his burial place."

He eyed her and laughed."That sounds way too fishy to me. My grandfather would have never put something INSIDE of him. He knew many other places that were much safer than his own body." He shook his head."Not my grandfather."
