Fire in his eyes, it had taken him hours, days, weeks to crack the puzzle of how to get in. He was the one, the only one who could open it, and he had found his grandfather's books and memories, his answers to questions that Cerberus needed. Pulling out a broken dagger, he took the jagged edge alon his hands and then made fireballs in both of them feeling the burn, and then watched them turn a deep crimson, the flames rising, and he threw them at the door, one on each side and then walked towards it."I command you, in the name of Zotithla, open your doors unto this demon." He watched for several seconds, heard a deep gutteral growling and the doors swung open, a sharp, cold wind slamming against his face. Inside he saw several shadows disappear and then eyed armor, swords, spears, all laying on the ground ahead of him. This was it, it was his now. Walking in slowly, the doors closed behind him, slamming loudly, heard by the town, by the demons and creatures this would effect in the time to come.

He had felt it as soon as Cerberus had opened the doors to the Fort. He knew his son had finally done it, of what he had told him he would do. This was amazing in Hades' eyes, for he never thought his son capable of such a thing. Fading into existence at the Fort doors, he noticed a certain life, vitality to the Fort now, and knew somewhere inside his son was there.

It was a very odd feeling, but it had brought him to the fort, and he sensed Hades standing there, and knew it was his son who had managed entry into the Fort the last time and this time once again."You must be quite proud of that maggot."

"Orenar." He turned and looked to the Demon he knew so well and shook his head, a nasty snarl given and then he looked back to the Fort doors."Yes, my son has gotten in. What of yours? You've had two, and still, nothing of any importance from them. You must be proud."

"Do not start Hades. I am stronger than you, you know this. If you wish to see the outcome of what your son has done, you will do well to keep quiet." He looked at the doors and shook his head."Surprising though, you must surely admit."

"I do admit that I never expected such a thing from the young one, but I expected it from Ather. He has shown much, but he lacks drive, much like you Orenar." He nodded."He was driven to this because I taught him to be that way." He looked at Orenar."We can not do anything. Go about your life, and I shall go about mine. This is out of our hands. It was not meant for our generation." He faded away.

"He is right, this was not meant for our generation to take and use, but it seems that the next are the ones who are to be chosen. I pray for their sake and the lives of those they have managed to intertwine themselves with, that it not end the way it did so many centuries ago." He shook his head and then faded away as well.
