He eyed the Fort silently, thoughtfully and smiled when he sensed what had happened here and then ran a hand through his hair. Looking to his arm, he eyed the King Cobra wrapped around it and ran a finger along it's smooth scales and put him down on the ground."Go on my friend, go eat. I will wait."He looked around and just stretched his arms out and then sat down, studying the Fort.

She let the speck of light from her finger fade as she walked on. She was nearing the fort and she knew even if she wasnt paying attention. The spirits and the feel of the place would tell you much of the events and would let you know when you were close to it. She stopped for a moment, watching as a passing wind moved about the eerie place. The sounds of screams and pain drifted into her ears. She'd been there the day the battle had culminated in this place. A history more bloody than most, this fort was home many mysteries.

He turned immediately and got up, eyeing the woman walking towards him, ready for any form of attack. Waiting patiently however, he made sure the blade along his back was ready to be taken into battle and then eyed her some more."Hello!" he said rather loudly and just waited for her to get closer.

She turned around, eyeing another, maybe she enveloped herself too much in her own thoughts to try and sense the surrounding area out. She looked at him silently, sensing his demonic aura. She looked down for an instant and tredded towards him slowly, but not very close. She knew better than to get too close to a demon who was looking at the Fort. It was like a ritual of sorts for them. "Hello. I didnt mean to break your reverie, if you were having one, that is."

"This Fort is only the cusp of our power." he eyed her and then smiled, looking back to the Fort. She'd never know how much power he truly had, he was holding it in, wanting no one hear to sense it, for he knew having a lot of power always brought those wanted and unwanted, and he wished to choose his friends and foes before they chose him.

She nodded, turning to eye it. "I'm aware of it. I've heard of the stories. Of course I know not much more of that. It is only accesible by demons, and even that is limited." She turned to look at him. He was a new face. Not even in her years roaming about the world had she encountered him.

"Yes, well, a young demon has come to inherit his gift. Evolution as you might call it which hasn't ocurred in hundreds of thousands of years." he nodded and then looked to her, his King Cobra slithering up his leg slowly.

"Interesting. I've heard the rumours of other demons, I was unsure if their words were true. Quite a history this place has. Their screams still fill my ears. Terrible fate for those, none should have gone through such an event."

"It was meant to be. That was their path, their destiny. Nothing no one could have done to stop it otherwise." He nodded and let the Cobra take its spot back around his arm.

She eyed the serpent that slithered towards his body. She thought it was an interesting animal to have as a pet, but to each their own as always. "I understand, but you cannot help but feel bad, even the likes of me. I would wager a guess, You are new to the area."

"No, no I am not. I have been here several times before. Wouldn't expect you to know me. Possibly, but, some deserved what happened here. It is in our nature to battle."

She nodded. "It's in the nature of all. Which is all in well, since my duty is to watch over battlefields." She nodded. "I suppose you cant know everyone." She smiled a bit. "Asherah Hathel at your service."

"Pleasure to meet you Asherah." he nodded and then looked away from her and the fort towards the town and massaged his shoulder thoughtfully."Perhaps it is time."

She watched, wondering what he was on about, noting she couldnt see the serpent anymore. She turned her attention back to the fort herself, in the distance, seeing the top of the fort disappearing, under the branches of the trees. She noted something strange, the angle of the branch of the tree and the place in the fort she was looking at directly, almost awoke something in her. She stepped forward, to get a better view.

"It is not worth your time. The Fort is a place only open to those of pure demonic. Leave it be Angel." He eyed her seriously and then began walking slowly."Walk with me for awhile."
