The birds were chirping, and she found it hard to see them because of the shining light in the sky. She knew it was the sun, but it was just surprising to take a look at it for the first time. She felt almost deprived after having spent her life in Seaway City. The surface was different, you could not see the fishes swimming about, or the whales giving birth to their young ones. She was now 50 years old, and this would be her first time, even walking on dry land. She looked behind her for only an instant, and saw the place was virtually deserted, and no others were coming out. She began to walk away from the barrier and headed towards a spot where she could hear the crashing waves. That sound was familiar to her knowing it was a brief view of Rumination Bay, she looked at it, and smiled briefly, before shifting her body in a circle, smiling widely.

He was walking by himself, as he had been accustomed to for quite some time and noticed an aura he had NEVER sensed before. Frowning, he followed it and eyed a creature who seemed different. He watched her for some time and got closer.

She bent down to pick up a rock and inspected it silently for a while, then turned to see a white hairy creature run around which she identified as a rabbit. This truly was a whole new world to her, and all she wished to do was just explore it. She looked around, and then heard another sound, she had no idea what it could have been, but she started walking towards it, before she stepped on a twig and looked at it momentarily. All these items she had learned about because of a Sorcerer friend of the family had told her about them, but no matter how much she knew, seeing it for herself was something else. Then she sensed something that was VERY odd for her, she didnt know what it was, but only that it was close to her. She wondered if she would end up scaring them away because of the way she looked. She had always been an outcast because she was different, and the fact that she was born with flaming red hair made things even worse.

He watched her and just sat down. She was interesting to say the least, and she was the first person he had seen with such an interesting hair color. Yawning, he just continued doing what he was doing.

She kept skulking around, wondering if what she had heard came from the sky. She sighed briefly, and started on her exploration again, not paying attention when a deer came by, and next thing she knew she had stumbled on something, and something big and fell on the floor.

He groaned and held his side. She had stepped on him and it had hurt. Looking up, he sighed and shook his head.

She groaned inwardly and held her head. She had felt something move and she quickly moved to another spot. When she finally had a view of what it was, she saw it was a creature, a male one. She looked at him momentarily, somewhat mesmerized by the fact that there was a male creature here who was not in any form a water spirit.

"Hi..." He didn't know what else to say. He didn't know her aura, but knew she must be from the water, it was the only explination he could think of. Shrugging, he scooted off some dirt.

"Hello..." She smiled to him briefly and saw some brown stuff on his clothes and assumed this was the dry mud she had heard about it. She looked down at her own and saw it on hers, and began to swat at it until it was gone. She looked at him wondering what type of creature he was. "Sorry..."

He shook his head. "It's...ok." He nodded and cursed himself. He didn't even know how to go about dealing with her at all and wished somehow he had walked the other way.

She got up and found herself bumping against a tree and turning to look at it. She felt it's trunk and smiled, wondering what material it was. She turned back to the strange creature. She wandered to him, offering her hand to him, not quite sure of how to interact.

He took it and got up, smiling. Looking around, he noted that no one else had followed her up. "Why...? He pointed at the water.

She pulled away and looked in the direction he pointed to, thinking of how to express herself. "I live...there..." She looked at him briefly. "You?..."

He pointed behind him and nodded, just sitting there silently. Groaning, he rubbed his side and pulled his shirt up to see the damage.

She looked at what he pointed and smiled briefly. She watched as he pulled his shirt up, and saw the mark she had undoubtedly put there, she frowned and came closer to him, bending down beside him. "May...I?..."
