His boots made a loud thumping sound with each step he took. He had decided to take a nice long walk, to just get his mind off Nailana's funeral. She was gone but not forgotten. He was unsure of how long it would take him to move on, but at the present time part of him didnt want to. He sighed and walked past the shaft, it was the same as when he and Fenrir had entered and returned from it. He was about to make a turn, when something pulled him back. He was unsure of what but whatever it was it was strong. He looked inside mometarily, and then he heard it. It was a voice and it was coming from deep in the shaft. He blinked wondering if anyone was in trouble. He sighed inwardly and hurried inside. He took one of the lit torches and started maneuvering himself inside. He had made much deeper into the cave than he had before he and Fenrir entered back in time. It felt like he was going in circles. He could still hear the voice but it was changing tones so many times hewas unsure of what was calling out. Something was much different in this trek into the Shaft. There was a completely different sense and aura. He was tired from his little journey and turned to start back out of the shaft, when he saw a light. He turned, and right behind him a doorway had opened. There was so much green in the scenery, and it was somewhat serene. He blinked, but shook his head, he knew he couldnt enter. Not now, not when his children needed him. He turned to start back, but the path was no longer there. There was no way to return, there was no way to go back. He turned around and looked at the scenery. He couldnt understand what was going on, but it soon dawned on him, that this somehow was a part of his destiny. He sighed, and looked down. He really had wished to be there for his children, and now, eventhough he wanted to be there was no way back. He sighed, and stood infront of the light. Fog started to appear from it. He looked back, still no path. In the back of his mind he knew that from this trip there would be no exit back. He sighed. "Let it be how it's meant to be then." He set a foot inside and soon disappeared within the light. He was about to begin his journey 3,000 years in the making, 3,000 years in the past.
