He sat among the flowers and looked around. He had been keeping a close eye on the Royal Family since he had becosme the 'Body Guard'. But most of the time he kept his eye on the Queen. He wasn't sure why but he was starting to feel more and more attracted to her. It was beginning to bother him becuase of what he had just lost and because he did not want to fall for someone else.

She sighed irritably, walking by the courtyard. There were many elves out and about, going about their business as usual. They would bow and acknowledge and in turn she would acknowledge them as well. She did enjoy being among her people, but on this day, she wondered if she should have remained inside. She had spoken to Neca for a very brief period of time when she had confessed her to her, her sudden lust for blood. She sighed, just thinking of the conversation. She had hoped that the effects of her heritage would have taken more time to shot itself, it would have given her more time to create a spell or a potion to take it fronm her system, but it hadnt occured like that. She was faced with the decision of whether to tell her of her lineage or just ignoring it for the time being. A decision that irritated her since she was unsure of what to do. She walked into the gardens only to find Arioch there and gave a brief nod to him. She did not wish to disturb him so she carried on.

He watched her as she entered the garden and frowned when she walked right past him. He could tell there was somethign bothering her, but he would not disturb her until he was sure that she would want to speak with him. He had been trying to keep his distance from her. Everytime he was close enough to touch her or even jsut see her somethign in him just went nuts. He sighed and kept an eye on her as he plucked a flower from the ground and twirled it.

She stopped between the gateway into the city and into the gardens of the courtyard of the palace. She watched as the people walked by, carrying very large carts filled with goods, and she smiled. How she wished she could live a life as simple as that, with no secrets with no guilt. She watched a few children run past, but one stopped infront of her and gave her a flower. She was very much appreciative of it ruffled the childs hair. He smiled spoke something in Elvish and ran off. She couldnt help but chuckle, at the innocence children possessed. She turned her back to the gateway, and she closed her eyes. "How did your life differ from Angelic to Fallen, Arioch?"

He watched her witht he child and smiled, then looked away when she turned around. He didn't want her to see him watching her. He sighed and continued twirling the flower. He looked up at her when she spoke and sighed. "As an Angelic I did not have to worry about lifes problems. i had my job and i did it. I had remorse for what I did at times, but it was what was expected." He sighed, "The only problem I had was my Love for Ceresa and trying to hide it. Now I find my life much more complicated, and full of sadness. But I have hope as well." He eyed her a moment then looked back at the flower, watching as he made it die in his hand, "Death was so much easier then life."

"How has your life become complicated?" She chuckled softly. "Stupid question, I'm sure." She opened her eyes and came towards him. She bent right infron of him, her knees near his legs, and looked at the flower that died. She touched it, and watched it grow in her hand. "Death is full of complexities, in a philosophical way rather than literal." She took a brief look at him and turned away, he stirred emotions in her, emotions she did not wish any to know still flowed freely within her. "I would assume that you were the Angel of Death, hence why your touch can kill most anything."

He sighed, "Finding out of my children's lives. Ceresa's death, and other things that shouldnt be happening." He looked at her a moment then looked away. she had done exactly what Cersa had done, when he killed the flower. It made it harder for him to try and forget his growing feelings for her. He nodded, "Yes they do, but I did not have to worry about those. But yes I was the Angel of Death once."

"I've no knowledge of your life, or your children's but it is better to know that they are well, even if they may reject you in some aspects." She fixed her dress, sliding her hand under her to make sure the dress was smoothed and she sat infront of him. "You must have hope that there will be happiness in your destiny, if you will allow it." She extended her hand. "May I see the palm of your hand?" She smiled to him. "I promise not to use any of my Elven Sorcerery to cause you an extra finger to grow." She looked at him.

He nodded, "I am at least happy to know my children are well. As for my life well there is not much to know." He watched her silently, admiring her beauty for a breif instance. He extended his hand to her and smiled, "In time yes I will allow it. But I do not see it anytime soon." He chuckled, "Do not worry I do not think you could cause much harm to me."

"You remind me of a Fallen I met long ago. She has quite the fiery temper, and is an exceptional fighter." She smiled and placed his hand ontop of one of hers, and with the other she touched his skin. His hands were very rough, which she attributed to what he was, yet she admired them greatly. "It is always best to take as much time as needed. You will not make mistake of getting into something so soon." She ran her index finger along the lines of his hand, and shut her eyes. She was feeling his lifeline. She used to practice palmistry in her youth, but she stopped when many things in her life began to occur. She moved to the next line, the health line, which was impeccable, which was no surprise given that he was a fallen. She kept admiring, and running her fingers through his palms, slowly, and at times she smiled and made interesting sounds.

He laughed, "It was probably my daugher Yarizel. It sounds much like her." He looked at her with interest, "When I am ready to move on then I will. I will not force it." He felt her fingers moving across his palm and for a moment he wanted to pull her to him. But he held his desire in check watching her as she read his palm. It amazed him at hoe many talents she had but he knew that her greatest talent was being a leader for her people. He watched her closely and curiously wonderign what it was she was seeing in his palm.

Her fingers moved freely on his palm, pressing into different points of his palm. When she finished she opened her eyes and looked at him. She kept her hold on his hand, and felt something inside of her flutter, as she laid eyes on him again. She tried to pry herself from the thoughts that were entering her mind and occupied herself with what she had read. "Your life will improve. A bit of a shock for you but you shall meet with love again, though there is no set time, or even any indication of a race. You will have another child, though one of your lines..." She took her finger and pointed at it, it was very small but it was noticable. "...It is a bit confusing, it shows to be one or at most three." She pulled her hands away, looking at him. "You will do something that I've never been able to do, you will move on." She smiled genuinely at him. "And yes, Yarizel was of who I spoke of."

He watched her and could feel the desire rise in him again. He listened to her and sighed, "Well I guess in time I will fall in love again. It is a bti surprising to learn that I will have another child though. I worry about who I will have the child with though." He looked down at his palm and then back at her, "You will move on as well Ireth, I can see it in your future. One day you will find love. It might have taken you a long time but it is better to be sure of love, then to jsut into it again." He smiled at her, "I see, she seems to see many people."

"The palms are very complex. Those of my family believed that the palsm held the story of everyone within its lines. It would tell you of their deaths, their accomplishments. It would tell you much. I would practice this method of divination when I was much younger but eventually I had no time for it. I hope you find true happiness. I must make a confession, Arioch." She looked at him sadly. "Yesterday, whether it happened surprisingly or by your own inclination, I could feel your sadness, and even your tears flow from you. I do not wish for you to suffer from such bouts.." She looked down, remembering her own experiences with her grieving process and shook her head. "No, I doubt it, Halmar was my truest love and none could ever take his place." She looked at a flower beside her, trying to avoid his gaze, afraid that it might betray her.

He sighed, "I would not know my method of telling onces future and past. But I like the way you tell it much better." He looked at her and then looked away, "I would not have done it if it had not been by my own choice. Although i am still unsure of why I did it. As for my frief, in time it will pass. But it is getting much better as of late." He looked back to her then reached out, grasping her chin with in his hand and lifting it, "Do not speak of such. It is one thing I learned from loving is that there is always hope. No one will take the place of your husband, but you will love again."
