When she heard him, she couldnt help but burst out laughing. He had always been a bad liar in her eyes, and the attempt was just amusing to her. She held onto her dress and ran after him. When she reached him, she placed her hand on his shoulder, and turned him around towards him. "You've always been a terrible liar, Cirdan. Terrible, but I do not care how you made that happen. I shall keep your secret, you have my promise, my Meles.."

"I despise that I can't lie to you well. You won't tell anyone? You swear it?" He looked to her, just slightly nervous."If this was found, I could get into tons of trouble, and you know this. Impurity is frowned upon here." He sighed and he looked to her hand and eyed the remains of the statue. "Let me clean this up." He got onto his knees and pulled out a satchel and started sweeping up the rubble into the bag.

"Have I ever lied to you? I will not speak of this to any. And if any were to ask I shall say I bumped into it by accident." She sighed slightly. "Impurity? You made a ball of fire, who is to say that you did not train yourself to learn how to create one. That is no impurity, Cirdan." She followed him to the statue and bent down, taking the satchel from his hands and holding it open for him. "It will be easier and faster if we both clean it up."

"You don't have to help me, you know that." He looked to her and then didn't argue any further and continued scooping up the rubble and tossing it into the satchel and finally finished and took it from her, slinging it onto his shoulder."Well, thanks."

She stood and looked to him. "You are most welcomed." She couldnt help but think of the strain their friendship would take now that they were back in Anduune. Now they would be denied many things because of the elders roaming about, and because of how a member of the Royal Guard ought to act.

He looked to her and then leaned forward, kissing her on the cheek and then got up. "What now Laita?" He looked to her and then down the hall.

She eyes him deviously. "Since you are the guard assigned to me, I wish you to go and take care of a fly in my room." She smiled. "It's been pestering me for the past hour or so." She giggled.

"Very well. I will see to it that this fly doesn't bother you further." He started off towards her room and then opened the door. "Stand back. We do not know what this fly is capable of." And with that, he disappeared into her room.

She snorted and followed him. She held onto the door, then after he entered she followed him inside, closing the door behind her.
