He looked at her a moment and from the way she acted he could tell that it was worryign her more then she let on. He sighed and looked at her ready to be totally honest with hre. ''Ireth, listen to me. I know you are worried about this. But we can not afford to let our guard down for one moment. I am terrified really that this person you speak of might be me, but I will not let myself dwell on it. I have duties to attend to, and my life to move on with. I can not let it get in the way of protecting you and your family." He sighed and looked down at the water, seeing the reflection of the stars in it, "I was told once by someone that no matter how old you are or how many millenia's you have left you can not let life slip through your fingers. It's a journey we take during our lives, one that seems endless for creatures like us, but if it is somethign that needs to be dwelled on, then do not dwell on it alone."

"I understand, Arioch. I truly do. And I wish I could have your composure and your attitude in regards to it, but while you only have to worry for your family, I have my people. I have lived long and I would do anything to protect them. I love them all dearly. Just as I love my family, and just as I..." She looked into his eyes, they faltered for an instance but she looked back at him. "..I cannot help this. I worry for the perils of the other races. I worry for what might happen to those I care for." She smiled sligtly. "I will leave it out of my mind for the time being, until the time I speak to the High Elves." She listened silently. "And you choose not to dwell on your journey alone?"

He smiled at her, "You are a strong person Ireth. And you have ruled for so long. But I do not worry only for my family. I worry for you and your family and your people." HE wondered what else she had started to say but just looked at her smilng, "It is good that you worry for the other races. It is not somethign many would do." He let his hand trail across her face again, looking at her beauty and memorizing her face. She was truly extrordinary, and all though he knew Ceresa's death was still so near, he could not help his feelings for Ireth. He knew what they were, because he had dealt with the same ones for Ceresa for many Milenia. He shook his head and smiled, "No longer will I dwell on my journey alone. It is not somethign I care to do anymore. Not now that I have met you." He looked at her his eyes wondering over her face and just spoke the words his heart told him to speak, "It is hard for one who has some they have loved for so long to pass. But the one thing I learned from that experiance is to not let love pass you by. I would be lying to myself if I thought you were just something to replace Ceresa. But your not, you are somethign entirely different. A new experiance and I know that even though i greive for her, I Love you."

She remained still to listen to the sweet words coming from his mouth. Everything he was imprinting themselves in her heart. She could not help but admire him. He had chosen to move on with his life while she wittled and wept for a long lost love who had departed more than millenia ago. She watched him silently, as realization began to set upon her. She had felt it before, he had stirred the emotion in her even in his lowest point. Even when he was willing to end it all. She thought it a passing fancy, but it was not that. The days she spent tending to him, she grew closer to him, wishing to know more of the hurt creature who had inhabitted her room. She gazed deeply into his eyes, moving her fingers across his lips. "I would be a liar if I said I had not wished for you to utter those words. And though I find myself full of joy upon hearing of your heart, I am surprised you've manage to say it so soon. I love you, Arioch." She smiled then turned slightly red. "I feel like a young creature in love, it's been so long and then you show up upon my life." She threw herself into his arms, and moved her head to the side. She shut her eyes losing herself in his heartbeat. "Though I will have the burden of this vision upon my shoulders, it will be alleviated with the thought and knowledge that I will be allowed to see you for another day." She pulled away, still blushing profusely.

He smiled watching her, enjoying her touch and loving her more with each moment. It had been hard to let himself love again, he had spent many moments thinking and pondering his feelings. "I moved on because I knew that I could not grieve for Ceresa for so long. I know it seems soon, and it is in all honesty. But when love finds us we must grab at ti and never let go. My daughter told me that she thought it was time for me to move on as well. That although I still loved Ceresa, she knew that I loved someone else more." He chuckled slightly seeing her blush, "We are both young in our own right, and we can explore our love further because it is new to us." He held her a moment and then kissed her passionately, "For one day? We have many days ahaead of us Ireth." He smiled down at her and ran his hand along her cheek once more.

"I can only commend you. You managed to move on and reclaim your feelings, instead of wallowing in sadness. It taken me more than two thousand years, yet I am glad I've waited." Her breath left her as he kissed her. When he pulled away, she held onto him. She studied his eyes, his face, the way he breathed, and even his slightest moves. "We are young, it is our mindset that tells us of how young or old we are." She smiled. "I wish to spend everyday with you. For you manage to free me from my worries and concerns." She grabbed his hand, and ran her finger along his knuckles. She snuggled against him, sighing happily. "I wish to remain by your side for as long as you will allow it. Even if I must renounce my own immortality." She moved her hand along his neck, shivering. "Le melon."

He looked at her his gaze full of love, "I was only able to go on because of you. Had I not met you that day then i would still be the wallowing pitiful man I was. But I am gald you have waited as well." He held her to him letting her touch him with out worry of her falling dead from his touch. He rubbed his cheek over her hair smelling it and smiled, "As I wish to spend my days with you. You shall be by my side for as long as you wish." He looked down at her in astonishment and shook his head, "I could not let you give up your Immortality for me. You deserve to live life as the rest of your people. I love you Ireth, you have filled the whole within my heart. Had Ceresa not died I would be asking her this, but I am thankful that I can ask you. It seems so early, but I know in my heart that it is right." He looked at her a moment formulating the words in his mind. He wanted to be with her always as he had once wanted to be with Ceresa. He would always hold a place in his heart for her. she had been his first love, and would have been his wife. But now he could see no other he wanted for his wife more than he wanted Ireth.

She smiled broadly. "Your words fill me with joy. Though I wish you had never had to feel the pain you did." She placed her forehead against his, and her hand came up to his neck, and she held onto him. "I wish to live my days by your side, for as long as the Valar shall allow." She kissed him. She pulled back and raised her eyebrow wondering what it was he wished to ask her. "What shall you ask?" She found herself sitting on his lap, waiting patiently. She looked up at the stars, watching their twinkling. She wondered which ones had been created in the names of her fallen brothers and sisters, but her attention did not last for long, because she found herself becoming enraptured by Arioch's warmth.

He smiled, "I wish to always bring you joy. But I think it was good for me to feel that pain. If I had not fallen in love then Fell then none of this betweens us would have happend." He smiled at her then kissed her forhead, watching her as she looked at the sky. He stood and gently palced her on the edge of the fountain, then knelt down before her. Grasping her hands in his own and looking into her eyes. "I sit before you now not as an Angel, or Fallen or any thing else that i could be. I come sit here as a man in love. I wish for you grant me one thing. If we are to spend our days together, I wish for it to be as husband and wife." His gaze did not waver and neither did his nerve, "I love you, and you love me. I wish for you to marry me, if it is what you want."

She nodded. "Though one does not know what surprises fate may have had." She smiled, and listened to him. She felt him put her on the fountain and blinked as he moved to his knee. The moment he grasped her hand she wondered if he was about to do what she thought. Then she heard his wonderful words, she felt herself melt. She smiled the entire time, until he asked her the question. She felt her hand began to shake slightly. Her gaze did not waver, although it was a surprise of how soon this was all occuring. She wished more than anything to say yes, but then another part of her worried of how her daughters and even her brother would react when they found. And if not them, then her people. She was confused. But then when she heard his words of love she knew what her answer would be. "Though this is much faster than I had imagine, I shall not deny this feeling of love that I've been denied for so long. I accept your proposal. I wish to be your wife, Arioch."

He watched her, feeling her hand shake. He smiled at her when he heard the words and stood pickign her up he swung her around and then kissed her deeply and with as much passion as he could muster. "It is soon. Sooner that I had expected as well, but I can not deny this. Had I denied my heart I would be miserable." He smiled down at her and pulled her close to him just holding her under the stars, "I love you Ireth. And you have made me very happy. And I never thought that I could be happy again. Thank you."

She chuckled, snorting when he picked her up. She stared at him as her body swung around, and kissed him several times. "It is I that must thank you. That or we thank one another." She kissed him back, just as passionately. "I must say, honestly, I never expected myself to be in a situation of the like again. And not with a creature other than an elf, but I will not deny my heart of what it wants." She kissed him passionately. "Though I wonder how our daughters shall take the news."

He looked down at her his eyes filled with the passion, love, and lust he felt for her. "I think we should thank each other." He grabbed her hand and started leading her towards the doors to her room, intent on leaving her there and going on to his room, "Nor did I think i would love again. But we both were proved wrong in believeing that." He smiled and stoping outside her chamber doors, kissed her back, running his hands through her hair. He looked down at her and moved a peice of hair from her face, "Mine will be happy for me I think. Yours i do not know so well."

She giggled at how enthusiastic he was. "I am glad we were wrong. I would not change our meeting for the life of me." She stopped beside him, by the doors out of her room, and looked at him. "I cannot say in regards to mine. They tend to be somewhat erratic in thoughts, at times. Though I can infer a bit of how Neca will react."

He smiled, ''As am I. I would not change the way we met either. Not even the circumstances. It sounds terrible that i would say that. But it is true." He looked at the door to her room then down at her, "We will tell them in due time. I am sure your daughters will be both surprised and happy for us though." He stood looking down at her then looked away as a sudden lust came over him. He sighed, "I think we should rest now."
