Her eyes remained to the sky. With the wide opening in her room to allow for her garden, she would always spend her nights there, gazing at the stars. Her mind would go back to a time, an age where none existed except Elves. The starlight, and the twinkling stars held special meaning to her. She was born during the time the second generation of Elves were being borne. They were known as the children of the Stars. While all the other Elves were being awoken from their state of constant slumber both her and her brother, and the brothers and sister which have since perished, were being born to the two oldest and highest members of the Valar. She thought of the day when her people lived in peace with no strife, and everything was peaceful, until Melkor sent his hordes to try and stop the unity her parents and the other Valars had established. She smiled, their history was rich, and none would know of it but them. It would make quite the book, she ran in her mind. She moved towards a small but beautiful fountain that was situated next to the grandest tree in the garden. She dipped her hands in the water but something began to occur. Her eyes took on a lifeless quality to them, it misted over. She remained still, as something came and occured to her.

He had just arrived back at the palace from his exploration of the city. He had remained in the Ethreal Realm where no one would be able to spot him. He had overheard a few interesting conversations but none led him to whom was leading the Elven Rebel group. He walked through the many winding corridors of the palace till he found himself within the confines of Ireth's Garden. He had been here a few times, but never for long periods. He walked through it admiring her garden then spotted her sittig on that fountain. He walked towards her and looked at her, she looked like she was in an almost dream like state. He sat on the Fountain beside her and watched her. She was not dead, he could sense that much.

Many things came over her. So many sights, visions. Most were filled of of horror and pain. She could hear the many cries, and also could see a large army appear from the ocean. She could recognize them all. It was the ships of the Elves who resided in the Valinor, they had come back along with the Valar. Along with her parents. The lives of those lost restored, among them her brothers and sisters, and even Halmar. Everything else seemed to lose its distinctiveness. She was unsure of what any of it meant. It was a vision that no doubt her mother had wished for her to see, though she was unsure of why. Her lips moved slowly. "Why do you show me such a vision, Naneth?" A very soft melodious voice came over the garden for her to hear and any other to hear. Though what was being spoken was in Elvish, it could still be heard. She shut her eyes, and opened them again. She was now back looking at her garden again. She looked about, to make sure, and when she turned to her side she saw him, just sitting there. She smiled briefly to him. "How long have you been sitting there, Arioch?"

He watched her wondering what it was that had her in this state. He looked around when she spoke, there was no one else there. He turned back to her, then looked aroudn again when he heard the melodious voice. He did not know where it was coming from, but could only attribute it to being Ireth's mother's voice. He shrugeed it off then smiled when he turned back, seeing she had come back to herself. "I have not been here long. Just long enough to make sure you were ok in your state."

She smiled briefly once again. "I am well." She looked ino the fountain, the water slowly standing still. She sighed, wondering what the point of the vision was. Slowly she began to realize its meaning, and cringed at the thought. She turned to look at Arioch, noting that they had not a chance to speak the day before when he returned, since she had to attend to some business. "Did your meeting with your daughters and grandchildren, fare well?"

He looked at her a moment, studying her, trying to read her thoughts. He could sense the turmoil in her thoughts but that was all. He sighed and smiled at her reassuringly, "Yes, all went well. Although I did argue with Farinele about your brother. But in the end we came to an understanding I think." He watched her then reached out, running his hand alon her cheek, "Are you sure you are well?"

"I am happy that it did. My brother and I spoke earlier, he is sincere of his feelings for your daughter. I believe him, he is not one to hurt any." She almost melted when he touched her cheek, and she came closer to him. She ran her hands along his forehead, she shook her head. She was not alright and she did not wish to lie to him.

He nodded, "I hope they are. I may not have been there for my children growing up, it does not mean I do not care now. If I had my choice I would make it to where the maker had never done as he did." He sighed not wanting to think of it and concentrated on her, "What is it Ireth?" He wanted to hold her and tell her all would be fine, and for once he did not deny him self that. He pulled her to him and held her, "Tell me."

"Maker?" She asked, unless he was speaking of his God, which she was sure he was. She was surprised but she did not fight him, and let herself come against him. He was warm, and almost loving. She placed her arms around him, enjoying this moment greatly. "A vision, which stir fear and worries me. My people, shall return from our undying lands, from the Valinor, ready to do battle. Among them they will have the Valar. Something very devastating will happen to cause them to arrive here once again. It must be catastrophic, for my people never return once they've left for our undying lands."

He nodded and just held her, rubbing her arms lovingly, "The Angelics Ruler or God." He sighed and kissed the top of her head, wondering himself why he had the sudden urge to be so loving to her. "Do you know if your Vision has a set time when it will occur." He was not worried for himself, but his family and even Ireth's safety. If there was a coming battle he would have to choose a side, and he knew whatever side it was, he hoped that both Ireth adn his children where on it.

"Of course, I suspected he to be your god, but I was unsure." She smiled slightly, finding herself become more and more comfortable with him. She shook her head, and frowned. "I have reason to believe that it will be swift and catastrophic." She looked into his eyes. "There has been a prophecy made by my people that tells of a great war, a war where many will lose their lives and even certain races will cease to exist. It will start by the Ruler of the Angelics." She kept her eyes to him, as certain things began to become clearer in her mind. "The Ruler, shall stamp his dominion over the earth, by the eradication of those who oppose them. Those who he has no control over." She looked down. "Destinies will be marred and joined. One of those who oppose him, shall join him and help with his plans. Whether by own free will or by force, but they will. One who has lived through great grief. The power he posseses and shows is but a miniscule demonstration of what truly lies deep within him. What lies dormant ready to erupt, and he knows of this." She looked up again. "The Valar wished me to see this vision because they know of something I do not."

He layed his chin upon the top of her head and sighed, "No God of mine." He smiled and looked down at her, "I am not surprised that he would start such a war. He has been ruthless in some ways. And in others he has surprised us all." He lifted her chin with his finger and looked into her eyes, "I can promise you that i will never join forces with him. He has caused me to much greif and pain for me to ever want anythign to do with him." He had no idea of who thsi person who had defied the Maker was, but he knew that there were others who had suffered because of the Maker's stupidity. He kissed her on the tip of the nose and smiled, "You must hold some important role in this whole thing."

She smiled, and let her have travel over his face. She moved her head and kissed him on the lips, pulling back when she finished. She felt like a teenager in love and enjoyed every moment of it. She frowned when she heard his words. "Arioch..." She looked at him seriously. "You should never say those words, because many events can happen to force such things.." She kept her eyes to him, she wanted to believe him, but something in her told her, that he might be the being prophesized about. She merely looked at him. "I do not know. It will not just be I, it will be the whole of my kind. Because surely the Angelic Ruler will try to get rid of the creatures that he has no dominion over, who he has no say, or can affect us in the least." She frowned, she wished she could know if her suspicions were correct or not, but the only way to know before the actual event was if one of the Valar wished for her to see the whole truth. "I begin to believe that events have been set in motion which will lead to this war. Arioch.." She looked at him seriously. "Have you not wondered what force, bid you to come to this area, specifically during your grieving? And why your arrival happened just as I lifted the barriers between our city to yours?"

He smiled as she kissed him and looked at her, a growing flame burning in his eyes. He took her face in his hands and kissed her softly, "Do not worry Ireth. The Maker can cause me no more Greif then he already has. My family is safe because of their connections with powerful creatures. The only threat he could hold over my head would be a threat to you. And because you are what you are he has no hold on you. I promise you that I will never join him." He nodded, releasing her face and gently taking her hands within his own, "I do wonder, but I beleive that it was merely fate that did that."

She was surprised at how much optimisism he could hold within him. It was a rare trait since most everyone only saw the negative, herself included. But at the same time, the fact that he could speak of this as if everything would be alright worried her. He had not seen what she had, and what the visions told her was of horror and pain. She sighed inwardly, and decided not to mention this again and let things be as they were at the moment. She would worry of this on her own, and formulate her thoughts and plans as such. She would need to inform the high elves as well as her brother of her vision. "Yes, fate."
