He sat out on a seat that overlooked the courtyard from his room. The day was beautiful, and he could hear Farinele bathing in the bathroom. He smiled widely, hoping she liked the clothes he had gotten for her, infact it was Laita who had helped him pick out the clothes, because he was just clueless to it. He yawned, and ran his hands over his face. He leaned back, just enjoyin the breeze from the wind, and smiled widely, while losing himself in his daydreams.

She wrung her hands and stood outside of her Uncle's bedroom. She had to tell someone her secret, and she knew he would have to be the first one to know. Cirdan had already been catching on, she knew he was. She didnt want him to tell her Uncle or Mother first. She wanted to be the person to tell them. She sighed and knocked on the door, hoping he was not busy.

He looked up, when he heard the knocking and quickly got up, heading to the door. He opened it and smiled widely when he saw it was Iaraya. "Hello Iaraya. Come in." He opened the door for her, glad that he had picked up a few things around his bedroom, before her arrival.

She didn't look up at him but stepped into the room. "I need to speak with you Uncle." She sighed and turned toards him slightly not wanting to look into the room deeply or jump on the bed like she used to when she was younger. She could hear her Uncle's ''friend'' in the bathroom and did not want to keep him from her to long.

He nodded and smiled to her. "Very well then. Speak." He moved a chair over for her, and sat on the bed, wondering what had her in such a gloomy mood. He raised his eyebrow. "What's wrong, Iaraya?" He was worried, since he could sense something was up with her.

She took the seat and looked into her lap as everything played over in her head. She frowned, "I have done something terrible, Uncle." She looked up at him breifly and a few tears glistened in her eyes. She was still wondering why she had let it all get so complicated and out of control.

He frowned and jumed out of his bed, wrapping his arms around her, and cooing her like he used to do when she was little. "It's alright Iaraya. What's wrong? What is this 'terrible' thing that you've done?" He kept petting her head, sighing slightly.

She felt him wrap his arms around her and she felt herself begin to shake. She looked up at him, "You might want to back off. You wont want to be near me when I tell you this." She sighed and formulated her thoughts, then sighed, "When i heard of that bombing I got worried. Not only for you but fro the people. I know who started the rouge elf group."

He didnt budge. "You'll have to pry me off of you, Iaraya." He listened intently. "Well?..." He pulled away, when he began to feel her shake. "Whose responsible for all thi-.." He sighed, when a sudden painful thought came to his mind. "No..." He looked at her, hoping his initial thought was wrong.

She looked at him sadly and nodded. She knew what he was thinking, she wasn't an idiot. But she knew he could read into her sadness. "I never ment for it to get so out of hand. I wanted Mom to see that the elves needed contact with everyone, and to see the chaos they could cause if not let out every once in awhile." She shook her head unable to look at him, "I never ment for them to bom the city....things have gotten out of control."

He looked at her, trying to process what she just said. "You are aware these elves created chaos because of what you created, Iaraya. Your mother did what she needed to do, and at times even asked the people themselves, and they agreed with her. Why take this on your shoulder? How many elves have lost their lives because you wanted to have your way?" He looked at her very disappointedly.

She slumped under his gaze. There was no one else in the palace that she looked up to more then he. His disappointment was like a knife in the chest. She didnt look at him but spoke sadly, "I regret it, regret it all. But I thought that Mom would open the city once more if she thought that was all the elves wanted. Uncle i am sorry, I never ment for it to turn out this way. When i think of the bombing..." She shuddered and broke off.

"Iaraya, this is not the way to gain something you wish. Why did you not ask your own people what they wanted? Did it occur to you to ask them? You only saw what a few wanted, yet you disregarded the rest of the population. What you've done is grave. Many Elves have lost their lives. You must speak to your mother of this." He sighed. "I'll speak to the High Elves. I'll see what I can do in regards to lowering whatever sentence might be given to you."

She couldnt look at him she knew what his face must hold. She was surprised he ahd not thrown her from his chambers. "Uncle, I thought they would all appreciate more freedom. But I was wrong with the elves I chose. I wish i could bring back the lost Elves I would give anything." she looked up breifly, "I will soon. I wanted you to knwo first. I think Cirdan suspects it, and when I think of how you and Cirdan could have been harmed, and the elves who did loose their lives." She shuddered then shook her head, "Do not speak with them. I deserve whatever sentence I am handed. If it is death, then it is no more then I deserve."

He sighed. "I think you should go speak to your mother now. I can imagine how'll she'll take this, but I'll speak to the Elves regardless. I have to know, what fate befalls you." He got up and headed for the door. "I hope that next you will learn to use your logic instead of your impulsive and rebellious nature, Iaraya." He walked out.
